SHK always maintained her elegance and professionalism ever since she became an actress. I admire her maturity in her speech, the way she carries herself on and off screen and her maturity not to attend the red carpet. Why would she when the media and the social media were waiting for her and SJK to be on red carpet and all eyes will be on them. SHK has moved on and so as SJK. However SHK never needed SJK before marriage or after their divorce because she was already at the top of her career while SJK was only a Junior in acting as he himself expressed in one of their interviews after they completed Descendants of the Sun. SJK rose to fame in 2017 especially when the two got married that year after their movie together. When he sneakily filed their divorce while SHK was overseas and unaware of SJK action, SHK suffered humiliation, insults and trial by media and netizens accusing her of so many things to justify SJK's filing for divorce. SHK withdrew from the spotlight and did not do any movies since their divorce in 2019 while SJK was showing off that he immediately moved on, did a few movies as his popularity rose and showed off his new girl friend and managed to raise his girl friend's profile. SHK lost a lot of weight and netizens were criticising her that she is looking old and ugly. But SHK maintained her dignity by keeping quiet and let her legal team handle the situation. However netizens realised that SJK was not the victim here. He planned all these, filed the divorce while SHK was overseas and worst without her knowledge. He actually is not the victim because he was happy doing movie one after another and suddenly his PR was showing off his new girlfriend and a few months later announced they are having a baby. If you put two and two together, you realised SJK's sneaky filing of divorce caused so much heartache and damage to SHK's reputation. Salute to SHK's mature way of handling the situation. She kept quiet amidst accusations and insults and to this date hold herself with composure, elegance and professionalism as an actor, celebrity and as ambassador of many brands. Her come back last year with Glory proved she hasn't lost her strength, great skills in acting, professionalism, beauty and elegance. She won Best Actress in 59th Baeksang Arts Award. SJK's acting were overshadowed by many great actors and veterans in the industry. I for one loved both SHK and SJK but SJK's immature way of handling his divorce and taking advantage of netizens sympathy towards him against SHK did not impress me at all. SHK proved she is a better person than SJK and her decision not to walk on red carpet to be vulnerable and be a subject of scrutiny vs a vs SJK. Leave SHK and SJK alone.
