Sarah Beeny Renovates A Georgian Manor House Into A Wedding Venue | Restoration Nightmare E1 | Abode
Property Ladder presenter Sarah Beeny has her work cut out as she aims to restore a Georgian manor house in Yorkshire. Home to Beeny, her husband, and their kids for a decade, the family now wants to turn it into a top wedding venue, but the renovation, design, and makeover steps to get there may cost millions. It has 97 rooms, a massive roof that leaks, a moss-filled gymnasium, and acres of land which all need fixing.

How does this woman do it all? Three small boys another baby on the way, her on-line program and this project? WOW!~
Thanks for uploading this episode. So fun to see Sarah with her family and husband and working on a personal project.
Our pleasure!
Now that was an appropriate price for a wreck of a building on a large amount of land. I've seen some shows where the building is completely dilapidated, and the people still pay 1 million and up. Crazy
It depends on the market.
Some people achieve their dream! I just love this.😍
Awesome 👍😃⭐
My ancestors are from Hull
the style of these castles are by Napolione lll to neoclassical French luxury everything must be louis style (XVI) for the quality the perfection we are talking about Napolione we look at the detail
They are Neoclassical not Neoclassic French.
This is fascinating. Granted, it is far out of the range of most of us, but maybe it will give hope and inspiration to others who want to save such amazing places but don’t have all the cash it could cost.
It is mostly about desire but the truth is that most people are not cut out for it.
Episode 2 please?

@@AbodeLDS Hope with the same family as to know the end result of this magnificent historical estate.
Beautiful guys, well done..
Built in 1815. It’s already 206 years old! Not “nearly 200 years old”.
This was first broadcast in 2010....
*Beeny
Sara beeny.. perpetually pregnant 🤣
I so get a bit tired, when the narrator, in this and other programmes like it, is just CONSTANTLY unbelievably negative, and pointing out (and repeating, every five minutes) all of the negative aspects, and all the things that could go wrong. And it certainly does not get any less tiring, when you as the audience, due to the editing, already know, that in fact, they will get it done, and yes, the wedding will take place..... 🙄
Your overuse, of commas, is, I find, equally exhausting.
