Perched atop a solitary hill, embraced by a dense forest, stands a remote house, once inhabited by Mr. Keith. He preferred to spend his time in solitude with his loyal dog over any human company. Mr. Keith's life was serene and only interrupted by occasional groceries and quiet woodland walks.
As time advanced, the dearest Mr. Keith developed progressive dementia, compounded by a compulsive hoarding disorder. The once orderly home fell into disrepair, overwhelmed by the accumulation of items in every room, reflecting the chaos within his deteriorating mental state.
Tragically, Mr. Keith's solitary existence ended in obscurity. His passing went unnoticed until weeks later when his corpse was discovered amidst the cluttered rooms of his home. As we venture into the abandoned dwelling, we are met with the heartfelt remnants of a life overshadowed by disorder.
Amongst the debris, we uncover an intriguing item-a camera filled with snapshots of Mr. Keith's past.
Brace yourselves for a whirlwind of humor and chaos as we navigate through the eccentricities of this enigmatic character in this second episode of the UK Mini Series.

  • I definately see a woman's touch all over this home. My guess is that the loss of his wife was too much for him to handle. Loss is usually what drives a person to hoard, they just lose the value of life. I can just see him and his wife taking those strolls together, enjoying the beauty of all the nature around them. Strolls with their dogs and just the precious things of life. So sad that his loss was so great. I feel for him and for his beautiful family, left to cope with his loss. Families very often become estranged when someone is a hopeless hoarder. So sad for all their loss. There was a great deal of love in this home. I pray for his family, that hopefully, before it's too late they can once again see all the love that once existed there. God bless them! 🙏

    • Hi Lin, thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights again. It's heartbreaking to imagine the story behind each abandoned place we explore. Your reflection on the possible history of the home and the family who once lived there adds another layer of depth to our exploration. Loss can indeed have a profound impact on individuals and families, and it's important to acknowledge the complexity of these situations with empathy and understanding. Let's hope that through our exploration, we can honor the memories of those who once called this place home. 🙏

  • This is a tragedy! What an absolutely Beautiful house this was. I'm just now still watching the first room, but from what I see so far, this house is restorable. Mold is an easy fix, rehabbers love mold, it drives the price down and isn't nearly as hard to handle as it appears! I'm a rehabber. 😊 Ceilings and roofs aren't a problem. It's the wood rot and structure that could be an issue. The beautiful old woodwork, the doors, the original beams, this place is amazing! I somehow missed this last week, I think it wasn't sent in my faroites. That's terrible because Explomo is my very first choice of video's, I love it when I see one in my inbox!

    • Like I said on the main comments, come back and borrow it and save the pictures on it to your computer. Recharge it if you can and put it back for others to possibly find. You might be able to find the cord or probably very likely find a replacement cord online that works for that model. Come back every so often to take it and recharge it and then returning it back again preserving it like a digital photo geocache. Also, you could see if anybody else came by and took their picture with it after seeing you do it in this video.

The many beautiful chateaus overflowing of personal effects, photos, priceless antiques and phenomenal hand carved furniture awaiting to be saved and restored, though sadly most likely to be reclaimed by Mother Nature. But, for a few, these days it is too very expensive to refurbish and reside within such majestic buildings of historical value and huge upkeep. I wish to say to Maureno, you have a personal nature that is very pleasant, the manner in which you speak and your constant smile brings much to these videos, along with Remon it is a good partnership of the adventures you share with us all! Unfortunately, many isolate their family members and will not even allow them inside for years. Due to "elderly abuse" laws, it is very difficult for family members to get help for them. Very sad.

  • Excellent Video, thank you - but you need N95 mask! There was definitely a dog living with him to the end. You can see at 5:23 in the kitchen, the dog's bed and feeding bowl under the table. I feel sorry for the dog living in such conditions. Did you see the game of Monopoly? And the folded sheets in the first upstairs bedroom cupboard: once someone took care before...

    @divergentus@divergentus2 ай бұрын
    • Thank you for watching and for sharing your observations! We truly appreciate your attention to detail. It's heartbreaking to think of any living creature enduring such conditions, including the dog you spotted. As for the N95 mask suggestion, it's certainly something to consider for safety in environments like this. While N95 masks offer protection against dust particles, they may not be sufficient for all hazards encountered in abandoned places, such as mold (including black mold) and asbestos. It's essential to prioritize safety precautions and equip ourselves accordingly. Thank you for raising awareness about these important considerations!

  • Hola Explomo !!
