Just because you can't tell what they're feeling from facial expressions doesn't mean they aren't terrified, don't feel pain, and don't deserve to be cared about. I choose to care for all organisms with nerves and general nervous system organisation, even if it's just nerve nets, as in some mollusks and sea slugs. We don't need to eat any of them, so the fact we can't convince people to care not only hurts the fish, but we are crashing global aquatic ecosystems, driving some species to extinction. I ask you to consider, and to care. You only compete with yourself from yesterday, with every choice you make giving you the opportunity to be a worse person, or better, based on the suffering you either do or don't cause.
