Hello people, another section on the separation of sounds from Windows, this time from the 2000 version! Analyzing the entire structure, you can understand that it consists mainly of live instruments - Piano, Strings, Brass and Female Vocal! There is still one not pleasant skid in my hand, I could not separate the Brass, as it merged too much with the Female Vocals, having tried it many times and it was unsuccessful, in the future I may try to do it! Anyway, enjoy it! Rate the quality of my work!

By the way, it's damn cool that there are 101 subscribers on my channel! I didn't think that I could gain so much in a year! In any case, thank you for showing interest in my strange case xD The other day, by the way, I plan to do splitting with Windows Vista, are you already waiting? Offer more versions of Windows versions under this comment and then it will probably get into my Splitting list :p
I got a challenge: split the instruments from the tour music of XP
@@Soulfur Wow it will be harder ahaha
@@DavidMounder9598 yeah make sure to put it in a zip file as well so we can download it :)
@@Soulfur Well, if I get at least one part, then maybe I can put the stems in the description, just to find a HQ MP3 track or WAV file to make it cleaner!
@@Soulfur Ofc, Idk, it’s unlikely that someone will want to remix ahaha, although there are enthusiasts in the world ahaha
The female Voice is so gorgeous
Mad respect. One of Microsoft's best soundschemes

Thanks for introducing me to spectralayers, now i can take my audio engineering wackyness to a whole new level lol
I didnt knew there was a female voice on windows 2000 startup and shutdown sounds 😳😳😳
I know there are very quiet but you can hear it if you want.
Yeah, I don't know also, but it so Awesome
it's a bit more clear in beta 3 like in build 1983
I can hear them, I know, they’re so quiet because the piano and the other instruments are louder but I can hear them.
Incrível 😭
The female vocal occurs in Samsung Fun Club with Tham Tham that the woman is whispering "Tham tham". Some Samsung Fun Club phones, for example Samsung SGH C160 or SGH C180 doesn't have the Tham Tham and Wu Wu Wu Wub, but it has only the melody.
There's already a polyphonic (aka .mid) composition. 🎹
Discovered this video yesterday and I really think you should give a tutorial on spectra layers on how to successfully do what you do because I’m impressed by the quality of the rips. Keep up the good content!
This is so underrated
damn this is going to be useful for my OSM
This windows 2000 is my favorite love the startups and shutdowns too
Is same as windows me and neptune
My favourite is Windows XP
@@Weird4311 oh didn’t know about that
@@diegoalonsodienemannsoto153 me too
@@Weird4311Neptune was a cancelled project then it would be compiled to Whistler which also used 2000 sounds and later became Windows XP.
Oh haha imo, I seem to have missed the event a bit. By the way, good job, never heard the details, especially the female voice, now I will hear it.
Haha, welcome back dude
amazing as always
Probably would have sounded better with just the piano
if windows 2000 had the same layout as windows vista/7, the original startup sound would be the welcome screen, and after when you click your profile n it takes you to your menu, the log-on sound would be 0:11 :))
this reminds me of pop music!
holy shit I love this
I Like The Piano Sound. 0:16
I remember thinking the last note in the piano and choir was lower until i saw this video and i unheard
Cool
A mi parecer, Windows 2000 tiene uno de los mejores startup de Microsoft Windows.
Windows 2000 piano edition 0:16 0:41
is the woman shadow on the Windows 2000 wallpaper the person who voices the windows 2000 startup and shutdown sounds
0:10 - 0:36 - Tinos Intermega 12/12.5(2051 - 2052)Startup and Shutdown
This also applies to Windows Millennium Edition as it shares the same RTM sounds as Windows 2000
To this day, still my favorite OS. XP had better performance but Windows 2000 is more memorable to me simply because I was born in the 90s and have more memories of it. Most people will say XP is better. That’s only because the Windows 2000 OS was ahead of their time.
0:45 0:45 - WaAahAaAaA 😂😂😂😂 muito bom
what
@@Soulfur muito bom = very good (in portuguese)
@@BlameCez I know although I'm not Portuguese
Same goes for Windows ME.
can you create a wav for me, 0,16 to 0,21
Microsoft Acapella 2000? 0:24 Startup Sound 0:45 Shutdown Sound
Can you split Windows Longhorn [Fanmade] Startup, Logon, Shutdown, Logoff?
Longhorn Startup fanmade? Never heard, can I listen? By the way, I'm just working on it.
@연가광 I will need to check, because I have not met him, although I may have met him, but I still need to check!
pretty sure he means the NEOSounds Deep Fantasy sound scheme
I misread the title as "Windows 2000 spitting!" And thought someone was gonna start rapping to some windows sounds or something. Was hella confused when the video ended and had no rapping 🤣
Haha lol
How did you do that and what software did you even use? Also, I never really heard the vocals, holy crap...
I use SpectraLayers for splitting! And I use a bit splitting services, this is in case I can't cut out that other sound, but this is only an extreme case, although services are not particularly the best option for splitting.., they are not always accurate, so you have to fix something...
Well, and the main thing is also to have a little musical ear to determine the notes and frequencies. Still, it's not an easy job, so as not to be mistaken in the frequencies, otherwise there will be harmonic violations! Yes, I have little experience with this.
@@DavidMounder9598 You can literally make instrumentals/a cappella for ALL songs!
I guess windows 2000 for end
1999 Windows 00
Have you thought about splitting Windows 98's startup sound?
You shouldn't have asked, obviously not anytime soon... 👀💧💧💧

Can you make the Beta 3 version?
Make a remake or make a splitting too?
@@DavidMounder9598 a splitting of the 1983-2000.3 sounds
@@DavidMounder9598 splitting
@@jitroglennwcmandagi Okay, I will try!
@@DavidMounder9598 Also can you do Builds 1946-1976 please?
Is it just me or does the piano sound like a piano layered with a pad?
Why would that be? There are no pads.
@@DavidMounder9598 Idk
Ah. Back when Windows had pointed edges and wasn’t designed to run on a $99 kids tablet.
Try that in Windows 11
Done! Check my channel now
Who is the woman singing the startup and shutdown?
Unfortunately, there is no information about this, even the author of Windows 2000 Logon & Logoff Sounds....
@@DavidMounder9598 ok
@@DavidMounder9598 Might be Karen Paurus from the Lifescapes: Scottish Moors and Return to Scottish Moors album.
How did you do that????
some frequency cutting and tracking with a spectrogram editor
@@Soulfur yes! This is not an easy process!
@@DavidMounder9598 definitely not, and it's kind of very precise isn't it?
@@Soulfur Well, if you know everything, then it will be easier
