    • Lol. You kidding. The Vikings have a terrible coach who has no team discipline. How do you get too many men on a extra point! Pretty simple the 11 that were on the field for the TD just stay on the field. Then you have a RB that runs out of bounce on 2nd down on a drive that was going no where. Result Cleveland gets ball back with 2 TO left and gets a FG. Thing is nobody says many players are actually game smart they just happen to have God given talent and it cost the Vikings 3 pts. Cousins overrated but he does have a OL that is one of the worst in the league. A kicker that can not make an extra point to win the game. The thing about the NFL is a fumble missed FG and very poor coaching today gives you a 1-3 record but really should be 4-0. Life of a Vikings fan. Lol. No team that loses to both Ohio teams can be called good.

  • 11:26 You really got to wonder how accurate OBJ is on running the called routes. Baker was definitely off today, but with his other receivers he is usually so accurate, but that has NEVER been the case with OBJ. And he is known to be a bit of an improv guy, plays like this make me wonder if Baker expected him to cut to the outside but OBJ ran it different than it was written up. There's a decent chunk of other plays that just seem like they're running different plays, and since Baker has chemistry with Higgins and Landry and DPJ, it seems like maybe OBJ is the one not sticking to the script.

    • It's almost always a nail biter with the Browns. Has been that way for decades. They rarely can just win a game outright. Even when they dominate most of a game they always manage to blow it with mistakes, enabling the opposing team to come back, causing the outcome to be determined in the final two minutes (or two seconds). It's why I have to turn each game off near the end-- to prevent my heart from exploding. That's why the game against Chicago last week was a such a nice change of pace.

  • As a Browns fan whose blood pressure finally lowered after this rollercoaster, Baker did not play his best game: didn't plant his feet enough, made poor decisions with the ball when other options were available, & over/under-threw his receivers a fair bit today. These kinds of games happen, where the offense cannot gain much traction/momentum & the defense has to step in & pick up the slack, & both the Browns & the Vikings had that happen today. Next week though, the Browns' passing offense cannot be slacking as much: we play the Chargers, who have a lighting offense (no pun intended) & a mild defense, perhaps not as good as the Browns. But if the offense comes out performing the way we did today, we will most likely lose that game.

    • "These kinds of games happen"?? Either you haven't been paying attention or your in denial; bad throws and bad decisions by both QB and coach has consistently been their M.O.

      @JayS64@JayS642 жыл бұрын
    • How many bad throws really? You have 2 seconds to read , react , and decide . If you look at the whole field on these supposed bad throws , you’ll see most are thrown “ so only his guy has a chance at it” What about the laser beams for first downs, etc. ? What , 5 or 10 to one ratio , good to bad ? And the bad are only bad if they are picked . Every week the Bashers find a way to distort what really happened . Even the one throw behind Beckham , you have to consider coverage . The one to Schwartz ? Look at the coverage . They aren’t going to connect on every throw . And Schwartz is a rookie , Peoples Jones 2nd year( and hurt) We need to persevere til Landry gets back .

    • @@JayS64 Actually, I have been watching the games. For 16 long, emotionally exhausting seasons. Let's go back to weeks 1 & 2 of this season: Baker plays genuinely good football, despite the loss against KC & the rough 1st half against Houston, & while the coaching decisions at times I would question, it's never the intent to purposefully call terrible plays or put our guys into pointless situations. I will note, however, that since the loss of Jarvis against the Bears (in which I was IN PERSON for that game) Baker has not played up to par. Truly great quarterbacks don't allow the absence of one player to critically impact how they perform, & while Baker is nowhere near the level of talent that guys like Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Rivers, & Stafford have, even THOSE guys suffer from bad games from time to time. It's just a more common occurrence for Baker as of right now, which is disappointing beyond comprehension as he is surrounded by talent on both sides of the ball. If YOU have been watching the Browns for as long as I have, or even since their return to Cleveland in 1999, then you know damn well worse quarterbacks have donned the Orange & Brown & played to the level of Sunday or worse for an entire SEASON. If you're so quick to jump to the conclusion that Baker & Stefanski & Woods are trying to make constant bad calls & coaching decisions, it's not too early to jump ship from your perceived QB/HC garbage fire & bandwagon w/ some team you feel is in better condition. I see Arizona is doing well for themselves right now, & both the Raiders & Chargers are looking like deep Playoff runs as well; hell, be an underdog wagon & support the Washington Football Team. Otherwise, let the rest of the season pan out: it is WEEK 4, there's plenty of football left to witness.
