Ooo finally a video of the full game and not the demo! Looked like the bush to the right of that pressure plate might have had the 2nd one under it. Should be able to make the monkey food easy in the campfire the upper part of the campfire crafting once you make the fruit smoothie unlocks the monkey food item and a fruit bowl or something for you.
Biggest thing that helped me was keeping storage chests directly next to my workstations, keeping my collecting monkeys at about 2, they were always busy and I always had materials

If you wanna know how you did that thing at 19:38. It’s a charge attack, the pickaxe and upgraded axe have charged attacks that are useful in both combat and harvesting

Ya didnt play much of the escapist but definitely started easier. They've done a bunch of updates that brought the difficulty up though, monkeys do less damage and ya cant get them as easy are just a couple things
