I have 3 monkeys all named bodyguard that follow me around and have swords
lmao imagine bring an orc and you see someone so you go to kill them then 3 monkeys all with golden cutlasses just destroy you

You can actually only get the sail recipe from the Mysterious Stranger on Your starting island. You get it for doing quests for him.

You can also get the sail unlocked by going to the mysterious stranger (the balloon guy).
also, to further amplify the last tip, you could actually select multiple monkeys by holding the cursor just like as you would to select multiple items in microsoft words, ppt, and such
Do you know anything about the Survival Gourmand ( the chef dude ) my map doesn’t have one on the 3rd island like no symbol at all for him being there and all I’ve seen is people saying I have to restart a new island

I only recently learned about the emotes when I went through my first labyrinth. I kept thinking to myself I wish there was a way to just tell my monkeys to sit and stay. *facepalm* I definitely label and color code my monkeys, but I also put specific hats for specific jobs. I’m close to “escaping”, but I kind of don’t want to. I’m having too much fun.
Thank you, this video is much more clear, concise, and useful than others out there. However, you lost me on using arrows to harvest, am I missing something? Just the sheer amount of time it takes to craft the ropes and wooden rods needed for a single arrow...how could that be worth it?

Lol I was unlucky enough to get the starter island without any metal nodes 😂 I been searching for 4 hours and even went through 2 vaults with no success thanks for the tip
I just made a raft and went to the other islands. My starter island also had no metal nodes.
You never start on an island with metal

How do you make hardwood plat for Xbox, I have been stuck for ages
You have to chop down big trees for hardwood.The recipe is in the crafting bench farming section, you will need to make a water can to unlock the recipe for hardwood plat

I just got this for my switch lol. I think I have it for my pc but I use my switch a lot more.
I play this game and I managed to figure out how to dupe items, it can be any item (from what I know). If you are interested or have more questions, just reply and ask. (I play on Switch so idk if it works on Pc)

@@storm4856 Oh sorry i didnt read my notifications, for this you need 2 players, so what you need to do is out the item you want to dupe in a chest or drop it on the ground, then save using or bed or something, then make player 2 pick up the items you want to dupe and leave the server/game, then load the save and player 2 should have the items and they should also be in the chest.

Just make them carry chests for some mobile storage instead
You can go to the teaching mode then go to the emotes and select one, for example sitting and the they will sit there

Split the difference, make their job their surname e.g Bob Harvester. It's how most surnames originated.

Okay I have no idea on how to put on hats when you find them. I put on hats for my monkeys but how do you do it for your character?
Simply complete the Quest from dlc then once completed go to your character customization... then go to hair and find the hats at the end of hair customization
so basically this game is about enslaving monkeys?

I wasn't sure what this game was like, downloaded the demo and was immediately confused and overwhelmed, and I mean I didn't know how to do anything but walk and run. Now after watching this I'm like, "Nah, I think this is too complicated for me, maybe when my life slows down in like 10 years."

I don’t know if you’ve learned it since creating this video, but you can click and drag to select multiple monkeys.
Is it possible to move you crafting bench, walls, smelter, and all that stuff
No you can go into demolish mode, for me I play on PS4 so I go onto my blueprint screen, not where you can place something down as a blueprint but where you want to choose what you want to build, then I press square and it puts me in demolish mode where I can break work benches, walls, etc.

How do I find wheat seeds?
Sometimes enemy's drop them and you can find it growing on the other islands. I always find it growing in desert climate while collecting iron.
Birds drop them somewhat rarely. And wheat grows on the 2-Skull island.
Like these guys are saying they grow on the skull island, there’s also an enemy, not sure what it’s called but it kinda looks like the piranha plant from Mario, they drop the seeds if you kill them, and if you have trouble using a club or anything like that you can use a bow.

On new islands randomly, in vaults.
I believe the monkeys will get tools themselves now if there in a chest, so you don't need a monkey to pass them out 🙂
I've hd 2 chest disappear today....and it's getting annoying....can chest be destroyed by enemies?
Yep, make sure to make walls and keep them repaired

How to cancel blueprint building?
Depends what you’re playing on
If your on Xbox you open the blueprint menu and select any available blueprint and hover over the one you wanted to delete and hit x
Or you can just build out the blueprint and enter the destroy function by pressing x and it will destroy the build and give you back the materials you used to build it
On switch/ console, go pick a blueprint to place, dont place it. While in place mode Highlight the blueprint you wan to delete and youll see the prompt to delete blueprint.
