Miss flying. I was a flight attendant for 18yrs before I decided to retire. 😢 I miss it every day.
Fantastic video, i think it was my friend Mylos filming on the cockpit!
Yes it was him
@@jasper_north 👌👌
No, you were it.
Perfect landing 👌🏻👏🏻 these pilots are amazing 🥰
Perfectly executed! Well done the crew of that flight.
Fantastic video! I love all the views and angles , the communications where very clear and that landing! Beautiful 😍
Awesome video! Amazing pilots! An absolute joy to watch, feels like I was right there. What a great approach to the tricky Funchal runway.
Love this so much such a,wonderful well filmed video thanku so much love and God bless always x
Professional pilots in control.....awesome!) Thanks for posting JP....have a great weekend....many greetings from the Netherlands 💗🇳🇱💗✈😘👋....X Betsy.....
Excited here!!❤🇵🇭
really good landing..that rain was really coming down
clear explanation of landing preflight planning, understood95 percent. Excellent landing
Absolutely phenomenal!!.
Love that you got the landing on camera
I really got a sense of the extra speed he added on for the landing due to the wind. Also nice to see more resorting to only using one engine to save fuel while taxiing.
Amazing video Thankks Jp
Great Content. Like always.
Great crew, great airplane, great job. Nice video too.
Wow!love this video❣
Good job 👍 Awesome landing under terrible conditions.
Absolutely amazing 👏
hello, good night, landing is in my city ✈😍 I'm already waiting for the video ✈😍🇵🇹
Hhv
Superb! Many thanks.
yup, wasn't this that famous airport with a scary sharp approach and misses. Amazing stuff.. for a moment there I thought they would go around.
wow what a perfect landing!
Great video, very professional pilot
Amazing landing captain!
perfect landing!
Wow. Skills!
Great job 👍
Nice, good video
Good crm, and a perfect landing...
Well buttered landing.
nice Funchal !!
Nice video! Though it would've been cool to see the reverse thrusters used in the heavy rain!
Great landing
Impressive 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great landing! That's a moebe Airport!
Awesome rain wall at 50ft before touchdown..
always enjoy a good landing at LPMA!
Smooth as ice
Great skill
Muito Top
Since the beginning of time the Dutch have been the best navigators and captains on the seas and now also the best in the air! You can tell both of these pilots are very precise and professional and love their jobs. Great job gentleman on that tough landing! I also I must add that the Boeing Max cockpit is Zo mooi! ☺️🙏🏼💯
Como estas saludos desde Bolivia 🇧🇴 y desde cochabamaba cuando puedes hacer un vuelo en boa boliviana de aviación y que tengas una buena semana
Buenos días desde Costa Rica.
nice weather
I landed there in the early eighties, with Air Portugal, what a hair raising approach and landing, of speeding up on approach then slowing down, while changing descent angle, it was before they extended the runway
long ago bro
That is just a normal Air Portugal landing everywhere.
@@mrsoikawa this was quite a a while go, and the stewards( hostesses) were smoking lol
@@lffit yeah last time I remember people smoking on a plane was 2002 in China. Joking aside, I lived in Portugal for a few years and TAP were always fine. I think they've got a very good safety record.
Have they fixed max? It's cockpit looks good compared to NG
Nice cockpit
Any chance you can get on a new Icelandair MAX for a film?
Go Tui Teresa Dazzling on approach and landing indeed.
my left ear enjoyed this
The Boeing 737 Max reminds me of the professor who said the state-of-the-art GPS is a sweet carriage.
Keep safe god bless
Epic
Great video only issue is the audio
I still remember the airport before the runway was extended !!!!
Forgot about the landing checklist?
Using reserve fuel message on touchdown....?
лучшая работа в мире)))
Landing checklist?
Ooooh coming in Hot :)
Yes 🙃🙃
🇱🇰🇱🇰 good
Hello! Did I miss the landing checklist at the end? They did call “stable” but I didn’t notice that they completed the landing checklist.
By disconnecting A/T and A/P early, there was an increase in workload for both PF and PM. Could be the reason why it was not called.
@@yebschumi its possible that this operator has different SOPs and checklists
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🏆
What’s with @justplanes video quality stuttering past few videos. Not smooth at all
Same with Aegean clip
FYI. Great seen. But no sound. Maybe it's on my end.
Totally superb tho 'tricky'? Would love to see similar but truly on the limit please?
Flaps 1 takeoff!? Seen this a few times on a few 737NG/MAX videos. Yes higher V Speeds but since when was this a thing as opposed to standard flaps 5?
lol there is no standard flaps 5 with the 737 :D if your EFB calculation gives you F1 then you do F1 takeoff... with a few exceptions. I had captains that wanted F5 for example because it gives you more tail cleance and stuff when weather permits or if the rwy is shorter etc. its all down to best performance for the individual takeoff
It is most normal with flaps 5 takeoff.. it is the default at my airline, also on the MAX. Only use another setting for performance reasons, and then more than flaps 5..
Standard flaps for take off are not flaps 5 but 1,5,10,15,20 and 25. However the most used setting is 5. You can use flaps 1 if the conditions permit it for a better climb gradient, but some airlines will prohibit this setting on the longest versions of the plane(800 and/or 900) mainly because of the tail clearance.
Why do i only hear in the left ear?
idk look it up on google or KZhead
Why is the old guy testing the younger guy??? That should have been part of training.
? pilots test and remind eachothers figures and stats to back track eachothers tasks and anaylasis. Its normal for them to ask whats what like winds and temp and other stuff. thats how pilots remember and follow through tasks using voice memory terms in specifc tasks to check off certain procedures if that makes sense.
@@nikozz1585 thanks for the reply. I mean around 9:30 though, the old guy asks the young guy a couple of questions and then in reply to his answer says "exactly" and "correct"
At Funchal isn't it policy that only a captain is allowed to land the aircraft at this airport?
surely that would depend on the airline
@@mrsoikawa No, while this is true for most airfields, Madeira is strictly PIC only and even requires additional training to be certified to fly into and out of LPMA. Source: AIP Portugal
153kts VREFf? 😳😳😳
Yo entre a este canal creyendo que era un simulador de videojuegos🙄🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤷♂️
Look so easy for him, in flight simulator I will crash for sure xD
👍👍👍👍❤🤲🇦🇱☺☺
Was this filmed before MCAS fix?
Nope, April 2, 2022.
Pilot max flying?
Yes he is, lots of them.
So proud to NOT FLY this old fashioned aircraft and have an extreme Dutch accent at the same time😂😂😂. Wan Too Treeeeee Good luck with that “pusher” and happy trimming. Greetings A321 TRE. Impress your family members with this. Send the link😂
Helemaal niet tricky😂
Wow you are a big courage dare fly Boeing max
Or maybe they’re just educated
Sympathies to FO. Left seat loves to chat. Too much info.
737 max should have been removed from service, because of accidents, as I know. But I see, it is still in service 😞
Yes it is, still serving for decades.
You missed the news. It has been removed from service, during 2 years, because of the accidents. And during this time , it also has been fixed. Thats why you can see it now again.
What? The MAX didn't trim itself in to the ground? I'm impressed.
…
It's not surprising, hundreds of them are flying above your head.
Dumb comment
Pilots have no clue as to all of their instruments. None whatsoever.
