As an ultralight hiker and sometimes bushcrafter I find most of these products to be nonsense you dont need.....But, for some reason I still like watching this🙂. It's still fun to see what new stuff is out there.
I get it too!
I don't camp at all and still like watching these vids lol
I agree
Yeah I hear ya. A lot of this stuff is pretty gimmicky and is probably not worth carrying around, but I watched the entire hour.
I jogged through the whole video in about 10 minutes. Most of the products are either crap or not remotely new. Some rely on technology which will technically work, but are wholly impractical like the peltier chargers. Others are poor value, like all the rooftop campers, or the jenga slide in rigs
When we were kids we used to camp alot I'm 64 and I still love it I like the simple way of camping throw up a tent love cooking on an open fire😁
Great video, prices on the products in the video would have been Awsome.
Lol, agreed
That suitcase on wheels seemed practical.
I am not big on camping (i did a lot of that while in the army), but I do like to travel and I did see a lot of things I could use to save time and money while I travel.
I enjoyed most of your products. Water purifier, solar charger for your mobile phone, hot water is always good on camping trips. Looking forward to more camping inventions.
No one is taking a large STEEL balloon that requires a boon truck to set up and a ladder to use on a camping trip.
😂
Hey Sarg, I don't think this thing is meant for hollin out in the boonies. But if you take a rope up in that thing when you have set up in your back yard you could drop the rope over the neighbors fence and pull up his wife and he would not know where she went. Lol. I would have definitely done that in my younger years and wouldn't even get dressed if he caught us. Hahahaha.
@USMC6976 I see these balloon tent things as a novelty, people using them in glamping situations, outdoor air bnb novelty type stuff. You know those city people would eat that stuff up. 😀
and how do you adjust the tensioners as the tree grows if you don't have the heavy equipment?
I love these inventions. I think I need that Rocket Burner stove for my Van Life travels. I love fire, but making a big one takes a while and meanwhile I starve to death, lol.
My Dad built RVs and his idea of roughing it was having to watch black and white TV😅😂🤣
HA!
That was Dad’s direct quote! 😅😂🤣 His business Rosscraft Co. est 1956 was one of the earliest custom campers/ travel trailers manufacturing Companies and by 1987 we were one of Only 3 manufacturers on the east coast to still make wood frame RV’s and TruckCaps! We had a certain customer who Always got 500,000 out of each of his trucks and our truckcaps Easily outlasted 3 models of vehicles for him ! I remember fondly a customer coming by and complaining he needed a new rear door for his cap, that it only lasted 10 YEARS of Every Day Use on His Farm ! 😅😂🤣
Nothing better than an AI telling you what you need need while camping. It's all so easy when all conditions are perfect lol.
No matter when and where you go camping, you do have to bring lots of stuff: food, water, sleeping bags, stove, etc. sanitary supplies, it seems like your whole house sometimes without furniture. That’s a fact that I know after 50 years of camping 😊
That's why I bought land (over 20+ acres) and built a cabin on it, insulated it, then stocked it up.
@@tonysolar284 show off!!
@@GitXxxd LOL!!!
@@tonysolar284 😂🤣😂🤣
@@GitXxxd Granted the land is in the poorest county in the state with murders and rampant meth/crack use. it was cheap pre-2019 prices.
GOSH THIS STUFF IS INCREDIBLE.......BEAUTIFUL INVENTIONS.
... and largely awful.
"the mono-walker"..guaranteed to drag you over the edge of a cliff when you least expect it.🤔😔
These are incredible inventions.... I still have about 50 minutes to go into this video. But I hope there is gonna be a portable bathroom... 🤔
Was thinking the same...this has never been included in videos I've seen. Toilet, bathroom
haha you have to make it all the way to the end of the video. it's there!
Waiting for teleportation so it can just be beamed straight out 😂
Perhaps those who don't want to be uncomfortable when camping should just stay home.
LIke the absolute freaks I see in giant RVs towing car and boats! SICK
@@gary7vn 🤣🤣🤣 Right? I don't get it either...
People don't go camping to get uncomfortable. If you can't see the advantage in many of these things shown here, there's a good chance that you never will. And buddy I can't help that. Great presentation.
@@judgetk8327 When you get out into the wilds, you get into the environment and live a lifestyle more like our ancestors who didn't have modern conveniences and _comfort!_ you trade the Comforts for a realization of the intrinsic and raw aspects of nature - That's usually why people go out into the Wilds; to get in touch with nature and ultimately with a part of your self that's lost with modern technology and comforts associated with that. Buddy if you don't get that then you're somebody who's not been out in the wildslands and, you probably will never will get it. Good luck with all that.
Unless it’s a5star motel, I don’t go camping.
Most of this stuff is for tailgating, not camping out on a hike or trek.
Working in an outdoor environment for a living I found this video very good and I'm sure to upgrade some of my kit this year.
I have one of those glow lights. It puts out a lot of light. I use it a lot.
Thanks for the video & there was some good items 👍🏻
Thank you for these great tips!! Definitely the portable toilet😅
You're so welcome!
Praying for a quick recovery
Excellent information and I liked the first aid kit and all the water filter system. Awesome!.
Thank you very much for the links, very big hugs for all and ¡¡¡A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!, 👍👍👍.
Happy new year!
That insta potty would work when we go fishing at the coast, surf fishing.
Wherever I go, wherever I land, I make it a comfortable home for my husband. I’m what is called a nesting homemaker.
What great innovations have been developed since I last camped 15+ years ago. I’m too old to go now but sure wish I could.
Nah, never 2 old, what with all these creature comforts u can have now 🏞️🌲
Wow, lots of these products are VERY expensive. The heated jacket costs over $800. The sturdy pop-up tent on the roof costs over $20,000. Half of this stuff is way too unaffordable.
Problem with rooftop tents is that every time you wanna go somewhere, or go out to get supplies, or drive down to the beach. You’ve got to break camp. too much work. They look cool though.
How does one get in the balloon-type of tent, hanging from a tree..? Is there a accompanying stair or do you have to take a 'dive up'?
They look like giant food bags hanging from the tree away from bears. Hopefully.
@melodymcminn4107 actually I think they are bear "to go bags." 😂
I wonder sometimes with these everything you need tents/trailer units no one considers the need to go to the bath room lol
Like the tree house concept!!!!!
I loved Camping ⛺️
That camper box is pure van life made easy.
The one thing I’ve always hated about camping was sleeping on a hard rocky floor. Not comfortable at all
I really like the car top pop up tents.
seems risky nowadays. someone steals your jeep while you're in the tent sleeping.
@@haveanicedave1551Or a bear smells the candy bar you ate after supper.😮
I loved the FastPitch PopUp Tent, and the Big Agnes Sleeping Bag! I will look into buying those two with one of those drinking straws and that mini Spoon/fork set. Looks great. Although I wonder just how expensive they will be 😂
I invented my own system of camping called General Ultra-Light Agile Glamping (G.U.L.A.G.) where all you need to set it up is a small ball of string and a rusty butter-knife. All the other materials, such as mud, sticks, leaves, and stones can be sourced right on location. Ideal for long-term camping (10+ years).
Well, share it with us!
😂
I’m going to buy some of these for my Nomadic living in the near future
Those tree tents were probably inspired by the cliff side sleepers from the last Time Machine movie.
What’s the point of going camping if you’re bringing your entire house.
You got a good point with that comment plus you probably have to be a millionaire to get that stuff when I go camping I go camping and get away from the house not bring it.
What’s the point of watching a video about amazing camping inventions if you’re just going to insult them?
What's the point of trolling people with some idiocy? @@melodytannerclark
😂 🤔 @@melodytannerclark
@@melodytannerclark what's the point in having a comment section if all the comments are going to be pointless fawning and no critical analysis. We'll petition KZhead to have the comments section removed so you don't feel uncomfortable - how's that sound, Sweetie?!
Wow I would like to purchase some of these items
Better bathroom choices, I had to go into RV amenities as I got older.
This ought to be named “Building a Better Mousetrap.”
I feel like everything shown here, is just overly pricey, fancy wrapping, easy to tear open packages, for bear snacks.
Did the video actually say a 7 ft upside down steel framed tree balloon was a must have for camping trips?
informative video. Need to include prices.
The prices vary so if you go below (more...) and look, each item is by the time of the video. Click on the link and the current price is shown.........
I saw many things I'd love.... some really cool stuff.
These beautiful ladies love being out in the cold, with the bugs and critters. Away from warm showers and bathrooms. I didn't know so many ladies that are 8 or 9s pass on the 4 star beach hotels and really would rather spend a week in a tent in the rain and snow. Awesome!!!
Are you implying that you've always believed that only ugly women (like a 7 or less on your beauty scale) like to camp? 'Cause that's how some folks are gonna read this comment.
I did not read it that way. @@Bunkerdwarfputin
@@Bunkerdwarfputin😂😮 I camp with a tarp, sleeping bag and a pocketknife and I'm hawt as fish grease 😜 🔥 🔥 ⛺
@@gary7vn I've edited my comment to reflect that not EVERYONE will read his comment the same way. 👍
Naw you're good Brother, were just teasing 😜 but you might be hanging out with the wrong Beautiful Ladies 😆 ⛺ 🔥
Awesome video! So many great products. I hope people start making nice kitchen and sleeping areas for minivans so you can cook instead when being stealth or in bad weather.
Convience!! No creepy cawlers, like camping, just not roughing it.
Thanks you guys we love you too 😘
I'm dissapointed that a vast majority of the "inventions" listed here are just basic camping gear that's been slightly redesigned. The stovepot and it's followup -- a literal tent, are particularly insulting. These are not new inventions. Edit: To be clear, I'm saying that 4 out of 5 entries in this video are concepts and tools we've had for 20+ years. A tent that can hold a bed! A kitchen in your car! A backpack carrier!! All have been around and (quite frankly) done better, earlier. If you think a pocket wrench is a new invention, you quite simply don't know what you're talking about.
Some interesting stuff but a wood burning stove for your backpack? I doubt I could get far with that lol.
The one cooking module can be powered up anywhere, unless your camping and there is no electric outlets for miles. Most of these inventions look awesome and a lot of thought has gone into them. My number one drawback to camping is having a tent that is not water proof and most of these tent options look very waterproof.
A toilet and a shower...now that is living!
Air cruiser tent 😊 the box is kool😊 now I like swinging lol😊 Swiss box pretty neat😊hipster and an electric trike lololol Tacoma trailer rocks😊
Great video with details and demo 😊. I'm looking forward to purchasing a few items in the future 🏕. Thanks for sharing 🌻. #Respect #NewSub
I felt like I was watching one long ad!
The portable toilet is cool, with the tent cover that drops down over you. It could be used right on the side of the highway in the breakdown lane. Very convenient.
How about a foldable RPG against bears?
So like a D&D type game about giving up when faced with enemy bears?
Someof these inventors need to make a product that people with limited mobility to use. Such as the portable toilet chair needs to be higher and the tent cover a little longer.
So does the first one come with its own crane.
DIsco cooking stove? HOW MUCH? I like that
Really cool and impressive, i do camp and hike also at times i like more than just my backpack and sleeping bag tent set up
That video was awesome! I loved it
Anything to help more people get away from cities and appreciate nature. Obviously these inventions are not for everyone, but they are good for some.
Which of these handy inventions would you add to your camping gear? 😊
I would like to see real, honest reviews not just chirpy paid paens.
None.
I would try all if possible gives me ideas to try different planning techniques for sure.
Several items would be great, but the foldable sleeping pad really would help me now.
@@gary7vn I wish it were as you say. lol
Beautiful box 👍🏻🪚🔨📏📐
I'm pretty sure my overactive bladder would be an issue if I was atop a car with a ladder to get down to a potty( also prone to 'the runs') but if they add an inflated slide for quick relief! 😂
Now a jetboil that's worth freaking everything
A LOT IF THESE CAMPING INVENTIONS ALSO HAVE POTENTIAL FAR BEYOND CAMPING LIKE AFTER DISASTERS or many people needing shelter in other Hotspots of the world ‼️
I always find some useful ideas in these new-tech camping vids. This one was very good.
Love my coffee too. Good video.
Hey let’s go camping, I really want to rough it, like the before technology people did. Ok, just tell me where and I’ll have a small house built there, we should be able to use it in about 3 months!! Yay I can’t wait!
Lol... The before technology people.
That hipstar trolly start at $550.00
I’ve always enjoyed a good 16x16 Marquee.
All these items are essential having something for all and any kind of camping... depending on how where and how long you want to camp 💯
The prices on these things would be a nice addition
subbed.. this is how u do it.. well done uploader.. presents the items and provides links.
Interesting innovative concepts, camping equipment sure has changed, but the more things change the more they stay the same, only now you can take more with you wherever you go, it would help if you provided more information on where you can either order or find the equipment, perhaps at REI or other….no doubt they will be costly, but how easy can you replace parts, everything breaks or ware out….thanks enjoyed this….Peace !
#2 a tent . wow. a tent. wow.
Life straws and the like can be life savers, BUT they only filter out the gunk but don't change the taste. Oily water becomes "safe" to. If I can't pack it ib drink, but it still smells like oily water. I carry 5 of those instant flavor tubes in a water proof container. I want to check out that convertible tool that is a hand ax and shovel. If I can't pack it in, Super 8 comes close to camping
I do like that quick set-up cabin at 19:24.
That cart the hipster might actually be useful for people that are blind. I know when I have to go shopping I have to use a cane with one hand and carry and roll the bag with another hand.. The actual hip mechanism might also be a great idea if they sold it separately to go with things like strollers and other bags since it’s blind mothers actually have to pull their strollers from behind
Very interesting 🤔, Awesome 💯🇺🇸🌟🙌🙏
lol “the picky” a traveler’s dream pocket knife
Camping Materials must be in square thin sheets (non corrosive) walls to withstand strong winds, snow, large animals attack or enter (lions, tigers, bears)
I got a V2 which is absolutely excellent mine is an earlier model than this, but it's still functions and it still works. I must admit that I happen to like the fact that this one unlike the one I have is a bit more compact.
hahaha it helps with chopping firewood as it shows someone using it as an ax to open a bag of firewood! lol
thats awsome when u roll off the side in ur sleep
I love everything😂❤🎉😅
as a cyclist I know about camping and some of these idea's are on my book
Too many items. My mind is on overload !
6:25 She drags a toddler out onto a ladder, lets go, and looks away.
It must be cool to facilitate such a video. Especially, if the items shown excite even you!
The funny thing about camping these days is that most people want the creature comforts of home - my point is then WHY LEAVE HOME!?
Lots of great ideas
NO!!! You had to say it. There are people who don't that far ahead.
Thank you I love it.❤❤❤😊😊😊
