@Brian Love they did put that on a ppv and I enjoyed the main event. Majority of people don't watch the undercard any way....I went to a Ricky Hatton fight in Manchester back in the day....men area. And only 10% of arena was full until the main event then it filled up. Same when froch fought groves..Wembley arena as empty when Joshua fought. And again only filled up for main event. So it is what it is

When your main event is Brook vs Khan, you don't need a stacked undercard. You Matchroom casuals are hilarious.
To be fair, Hearn took all the fighters, Boxxer are starting from scratch so it was always going to be a main event with a scratchy undercard until they start building their stable. So a bit harsh of Eddie to rinse the card when he bled it dry.

Was worth it for me.. just for the main event itself, needed to see it and have closure on the beef, undercard could of been better but I also think they were thinking about the future and having all eyes on their next ‘stars’ like Clarke, Azeem brothers and Viddal Riley, and then the Jonas fight was good even tho it was quick but that wasn’t because the opponent was out of her depth it was that Jonas looked so good... that girl was a decent fighter and a big girl.. If Dillian did all the extra media stuff to promote the fight, the fight would be worth a hell of a lot more money and he would be worth a hell of a lot more than 20%. It's a principal thing in my opinion and I would do the same as him. Why is he going to promote the fight just so Fury Arum and Warren can get paid more from it. If they were fair in the first instance they would have got probably the best build up for a fight in a long time because Dillian can match Tyson in the entertainment department. If people could have worked together they would have had a real good show and made a hell of a lot of money all around.

@@reka999 yes but that's Frank Warren and Bob Arums problem. Dillian Whyte has a contractual amount of 20% of that 41 million plus another 10% if he wins. It's not about the amount of money for Dillian it's the principal. They weren't prepared to even consider negotiating the 20% and that was before a figure of 41 million was pulled out of Frank's ass. Fury and his promoters are the only ones benefiting from Dillians involvement and and promotion towards the fight at this point but that's because of the promoters and the way they have gone about their business. If matchroom won the purse bid and had the a side fighter in the fight Fury would be doing the same as Dillian is now. And he would also be getting advised to do that from his promoters. Dillian doing the best thing possible by keeping concentrated on training for the fight.

I just tuned in just for the main event, actually I only paid for the event just before Khan / Brook were about to enter the ring. Tells you how motivated I was to watch the undercard. Good luck to all the fighters on the undercard and respect. A lot of up and coming fighters there, but maybe too much…

Whyte didn't fight Joshua at Wembley for 3 belts on your show Eddie. Is your memory that short because i know your ego isn't. Whyte has had 7 PPV fights without fighting for a world title. He turned down numerous final eliminators for a bit more money on Sky PPV shows. Hearn lost the purse bid to Pulev and they swerved Ortiz completely. Whyte is known for ducking the big fights. I would say he was crazy for not fighting AJ at Wembley. I'm not sure he'll even turn up to fight Fury.

Khan-brook we all know would of been better 6-7 years ago but what we got was still a really good build up and it really sold people the fight because when that first bell rang the atmosphere was fantastic and yeah played out pretty one sided for Kell because you could tell amir had faded alot more but it was still exciting to watch and people enjoyed it. Undercard was fucking tragic tho one of the worst ever
Khan would have got flattened at any point tbh wrong type of fighter for Amir , Amir did quite well with fast hands and not much else , Brook a much more rounded fighter
