Meanwhile it's funny when Benavidez fanboys say like it's him ASAP or nothing because he got taken the distance by Canelo's leftovers when Munguia at least made a statement by taking out Ryder. And Munguia may very well have the style to give him more of a scrap because Munguia is more an action fighter and is willing to walk through shots to get his unlike Benavidez who has his momentum stopped when he gets tagged and looks more bothered. Munguia is also faster on his feet and closes the distance quickly unlike slow plodding Benavidez.

That same plant won like 2 rounds against Canelo. That being said, Canelo is definitely going to be able to win rounds against Benavidez but he will have a lot more firepower than plant had so benavidez will definitely not attack him as relentlessly as he did plant. It's all a matter of stamina. If Canelo doesn't fade badly down the stretch then he will likely beat Benavidez. But if Canelo fades, Benavidez will simply outwork Canelo and win a decision. I doubt anyone gets stopped though and I doubt it will be easy for either guy. Shawn has simply been listening to too much Paulie the hater malignaggi.

I say this because when Caleb tried pushing Benavidez back, Benavidez just pulled straight back while squared up and had absolutely no defense on the back foot. He got backed into the ropes without any issues and left his body completely exposed. If that happens against Canelo, he gets absolutely obliterated pretty quickly. Benavidez got pushed back by a guy who can't even fight coming forward. Canelo is one of the best at coming forward. Benavidez is so big that most people simply don't try to back him up but I don't think Canelo will back up against Benavidez at all. If they both collide in the center of the ring, I have Canelo easily being able to push Benavidez back and that's where Benavidez is at his weakest. Just my 2 cents.
