Now you can add wireless charging to your phone. Another easy idea is to just stick your phone inside a case, and have the wireless charger adapter thing sit between the phone and the case. That way you don't have to open up your phone. Best of both worlds!!

You need to replace them quite often, tough. I have gone through like ten of them now in about a year. They can also be quite dangerous, since two of the ones I used started overheating, melting my case and a wireless charger.

There's literally no other way unless you have coils underneath the phone case itself like the Galaxy s5

if only they made a way that the port connects to the battery and its terminal and we could use the usb port too. now that would be perfect, wireless charging and usb charging both available. just remove the battery and the connection between them will disconnect

You do not have to take the back cover off, all you need to do is unplug the charger and use your own. I believe they have some with an additional port so you won't have to unplug it. Hope this helps.

The aluminum back on the M9 mat act a little bit like a short-circuit coil, and make charging inefficient, due to the same principles that make metal pans on induction stoves heat up. However this is also true for all phones with electronics and a battery with tons of metal directly on top of the coil anyway. That is why induction charging is slow and not efficient and makes the phone hot.
And what about curved phones like the Zenfone 2?

First off I'd like to say that wireless charging doubles the charge speed and if it doesn't then it's a cheap knockoff I would get a new phone if I didn't have fast charge cuts my charge time from 6hrs full charge too 2hrs tops I have s7 and yes that's 6hrs using fast charger and fast cable
