Justice. Great for British boxing. Shame on Hearn & Benn gaslighting fans by playing the victims. He should go through the actual investigation process instead of trying to slime his way out due to a bs legal argument. If he succeeded any British fighter who failed VADA could’ve argued board could do nothing to them due to this legal precedent. Makes Hearn’s increased Vada testing even more hypocritical as same time he was taking a moral lap over how much he tests he knew he was trying to make it pointless in the U.K. just to milk a payday out of Benn after he wasted millions on his career. Shame on Matchroom.

I think they (Matchroom) got to a point where they thought they were so powerful (they are to a degree) that they could pick & choose who gets punished for positive drugs tests & who doesn't. It was a blunder for sure.

How do you K ow there's no evidence? The fact it went thr NADP tells you they presented a case, as did UKAD. All that has happened here is the suspension has been imposed. No one has been found guilty yet

I actually agree with Simon when he made the observation a while back that Eddie Hearn should be sanctioned. The BBBOC have been nothing but consistent in trying to hold Benn to account for two failed drug tests and Eddie has done nothing but try and negate them and wiggle through loop holes. It’s actually really poor from a leading promoter when you deep it.
If that's the case, they should have banned fury for his failed anabolic steroids test.....not back date a ban he served whilst retired.

How is passing a drugs test that the BBBOC use wiggling through a loophole? I can’t stand Conor and he probably did cheat, but they had no right to suspend him.
I think athletes, whether or not they're guilty of knowingly ingesting a ped, is irrelevant. It was there and you're responsible for all that goes into your body. He would have served his time by now and fighting again. His doubling down only hurt his reputation.

Simons energy has changed since his meeting with Benn (excellent play by benns team). I’m glad Simon finally corrected himself about saying for the 100th time ‘I really like Benn’ what has that got to do with anything???! Also, why do they keep saying it was a mistake that he went on piers, because his true colours were shown and that came across terrible with the public and he came across as a very guilty. Benns team and Eddie can claim it was a mistake for the above reasons, but why are talksport saying he shouldn’t have?? Spencer is about the only one with some integrity on this matter

At the end of the day Simon you said about strict liability, but when Connor has now been cleared on a previous argument, that’s a two-way thing because of the British boxing board want to be stupid about it and you say of all the restrictions they could do to fighters and trainers well as a two-way thing Because if they start doing that then it’ll become a point where the British boxing border control will also lose integrity will lose a modern day raising to exist, and if the British boxing border control, and Robert Smith want to start restricting trade and the right to earn a living Then I can see a lot of organisations, fighters and trainers where the boxing border control due to the pettiness the way that they’ve dealt with this will be seen to outdated not with modern times and will cease to exist and they will not earn out of fights through sections referees, and you’ve got to remember that there is no actual rule law that will stop anybody else, setting up a modern day twist, and the more current proper, and Farer governing organisation to supersede the boxing border control, and Robert Smithif they seem to be totally picking and choosing and being selective in their arguments and do double standards

None of us on here truly know if Connor is guilty or not, BUT imo something is a miss from all sides.... Ask yourself this.... If there is no vendetta, why did the board take so long to cancel the 1st fight in the 1st place ? Why did the board wait until the very last day of their appeal time span to respond ? I think they did this on a couple of occasions now wasting time ? Why is the board having private conversations with radio hosts like Simon in advance when its confidential ? Even if Connor is guilty, The board have acted badly here on more than 1 occasion.
