The people are just trying to prove Jordan fans that he was mortal by bringing up how he got swept alot in the 1st round etc in the 80s. Bron wasn't getting swept in no 1st round, he made a finals in his second post season appearance. Bron fans just want everyone to know MJ is not as perfect as many thinks he is.

    @testtest-qr6sx@testtest-qr6sx2 ай бұрын
    • Tim Duncan and Spurs were on a run but you're right 80s Piston & Celtics are also dynasty teams too. That one will have to be truly debated and dissected but if I was a betting man, I don't know if I could bet against Spurs but then again how can I bet against Pistons or Celtics, you're right I'm stumped too😂

      @hakshustletv@hakshustletv2 ай бұрын
    • It really depends on which rules we're playing under. The way the Pistons played defence in the 80s was outlawed in the 90s, let alone the 2000s. Not to mention people forget there was no zone defence before 01', so just based on that, we'd have to say the 07' Spurs were the best team defensively just based on the experience they have running zones, not to mention the length and size they had. Based on personnel, the 86' Celtics were probably the best team on offence with Prime Larry and co. but overall, I'd say the Spurs dynasty Lebron had to overcome was greater than the Celtics or Pistons dynasty. The longevity and basketball they played were absolutely phenomenal, just watch them play in 07' vs 13-14', two very different styles but mastered both, that versatility alone makes me think the Spurs were tougher to get through.

      @Roxas-ph3te@Roxas-ph3teАй бұрын
    • @@Roxas-ph3te That's probably the biggest thing when it comes to the Spurs. To me Tim Duncan is highly underrated when it comes to people mentioning adaptability and being able to win in every decade he played in with the leagues playing style changing probably more than any other era. Late 90s, 2000s, 2010s. In 2010s alone, the league changed at least 3 times. I would probably pick the Spurs to win too. I think people are waiting to say Pop got lucky though but if he wins again with Wemby, it's a wrap. Even if he gets close, there's nothing else that could be said.

      @hakshustletv@hakshustletvАй бұрын
    • @@Roxas-ph3te Yeah that's valid, pistons likely wont win unless it's 80s rules, and honestly a young ginobili is going to match if not be a bigger threat than everybody on the celtics besides bird without even mentioning tim duncan or parker, but then again nobody is going to just go out there and smoke a 1986 bird idc who you are, but i could see 07 spurs coming on top after a hard fought win, definitely took a while to find an answer for this one

      @testtest-qr6sx@testtest-qr6sxАй бұрын
    • @hakshustletv Agreed. Really just depends on how long Pop wants to coach, I have no doubts that if the Spurs draft well over the next couple of years, which they usually do, sign a big free agent and make some good trades they can make it back to the finals.

    • @@lajuan3474 And on top of that, I should have realized they were lying from day 1 when they first started that dumb narrative. Because I started watching the NBA in 2000. My favorite duo ever Shaq & Kobe, also won when Jordan was still playing too! Lol. The media guys always try to cherry pick stuff. If you call them out on it they're gonna shift it to "nobody ate when Jordan was winning." Then if you mention Hakeem they will shift it to say "nobody ate when Jordan was winning and playing full seasons." They don't even realize that fans of other superstar players that have won titles could use a similar slanted argument that they use. Because essentially what they don't realize is they're pretty much saying nobody was winning when their guy was winning... which is basically the same for a lot of other all time greats... once somebody is winning somebody is losing obviously. And they ignore the fact that it wasn't only Jordan that was playing great for the Bulls.

    • @@carloszepeda8960 Well yeah he was still in the NBA. You see this is the dumb part of the argument because you guys keep shifting the statement. I can say nobody ate when Shaq and Kobe were in their primes, healthy and had a good team around them. I can say nobody ate when KD and Steph were together and healthy. I can say nobody ate when Bill Russell was in his prime and had a stacked team around him. Its the same thing. I'm not just talking about LeBron. I'm saying the dumb narrative Jordan fans use can be used on a number of other stars because all they do is single out specifically the years he won the championship. Lmao. 6 years was not his whole career. Nobody ate when Popovich don't sub Duncan out late in the game of a finals.

The sports media is mostly left leaning, so LeBron is their poster boy. They have to continue to push Bron's phoney GOAT case. They have bigger political plans for LeBron James. ESPN uses LeBron's "Social Change Internet personality" as a type of criteria for his phoney GOAT case. When it just comes to their basketball careers, Bron has absolutely no case for GOAT over MJ. Great longevity doesn't beat a great long prime full of three-peats.
