I really hope zheng stays healthy and keeps working hard. She has the talent to be a multiple grand slam champion.
Congrats to Zheng. Her runs in this GS reminds me of Li Na. Being at the final is already a huge achievement for her thus far and even if she lose in the final, it will be just the beginning for greater heights in her tennis career.
This looked like it could have been staged

Gratifying that Zheng won. She proved to her ex-coach he made the wrong decision leaving her for Osaka. Osaka is a great player too, but this lady got her head in the game.
The 2020 US open shouldn’t even count coz half the top 100 didn’t play due to COVID lmfao 😂
@@BTCRULER Japan has a good tennis market, and obviously a great chance to promote a home hero for a brand like YONEX

One hit?! Soon to be 27 years old with 4 Grand Slams. Please be honest and neutral. Osaka needs to be fit and work on her mental game. She needs some defense too. Osaka like Ash Barty made her mark on the tennis world. @@BTCRULER
Great win from Qinwen. She is fulfilling her potential. Congratulations!
Vietnamese here (with Chinese friends), rooting for Qinwen though Sabalenka is tough! It's going to be a great final match-up.
I agree, just because I happen to like Qinwen. @@gossipboynyc9625-VN
She's played no seeded players this tournament. She will lose in straight sets 4 and 3.
Lose, yes I think so but will learn what it takes and tests her ability.@@cherylrougier455

I LOVE Zheng! Why a delightful player.
A darling of a player that Qinwen Zheng !❤ Best of luck to her in the finals🤞
I like how Zheng takes over the microphone in the post match interviews. She's a natural.
Go Qinwen! ❤You are fantastic!
Li na will be very proud of her! ❤
After 11 years, we finally have an AO final with 2 players from Belarusian and Chinese (the last match was Azarenka and Li Na in 2013)

Congratulations Zheng you deserve this win.
Great to see Zheng in the final! She’s been steadily improving!! Amazing to see the fruits of her labour. Now she has to be ready to elevate against Sabalenka!
Huge congrats to Qinwen! Hope you will perform equally well in your coming match !
Congratulations to Zheng. Such a skillfull and charming lady. Best of luck witht the final but it would be very tough.
If Sabalenka is off at all in the final, I could definitely see Zheng putting up a really good fight. Come on Qinwen!!!!!! Bring it home
It's tough to face Sabalenka. I really hope she puts up a fight, as she look to be in stellar shape and focus
Sabalenka makes alot of errors so she needs to extend each point and she is going to win
it's an interesting match up for sure!
@@kingmisogyny1852unfortunately Zheng makes lots of mistakes on long rallies too. She needs to improve her first serves percentage to have a better chance to beat the screamer.
@@jkh168 Sabalenka is quite weak mentally, she gets rattled easily and her game drop off. Also, she can't hit more than 3 balls without committing an unforced error and her movement is awful. If Zheng can withstand her power she will easily beat Sabalenka.
@@jkh168 Yes, I agree. Zheng has a strong first serve. She needs to maintain that through out the game. When under pressure, they can make a lot of errors so it all comes down to who can stay calm and collected and win the game. Sabalenka is an aggressive player. Very strong forearm returns.
Dayana had a good run. It was her first Grand Slam semi. Her previous best was Wimbeldon 4th Round 2019. She hadn't been past the 1st round for the past 2 years. Had to go through 3 rounds of qualifying to get into this year's draw. Then knocked out various seeds along the way, including Vondrousova and Azarenka, and made it to the semis. Congrats on your AO tournament, and congrats to Zheng on making the final!
A qualifier making this kind of run hasn't been seen at AO since 1978, I believe. Great for her.
Thanks God, this year AO edition is now Ukraine free. 👍✌️
@@teasellermodi5897yes. Good riddance.

Zheng held herself well throughout the match. This is very important for any top players. Also, thank you for saving tennis. No more politics in the final.

What kis your problem with Ukraine! You must be a Putin lover!!!
Qinwen Zheng is very quiet classy Chinese player . no one expect her in the final, she's just did. Congratulation, and best luck .
10 years ago Li Na won the Australian Open 2014... Will Zheng from China repeat the feat for her country 10 years later? So excited for the finals!! Hoping it will be a high-quality match from both!
Zheng Qinwen had lot of energy to spare after the win. This augured well for the final.
Two incredible tournament runs that merged at this point. Zheng run is still hot.
Congrats Zheng. U save this AO Final from political sentiment. We will see the hug and the handshake from Zheng and Sabalenka 😊
Now this year AO edition is Ukraine free. 👍✌️
Go for it Zheng, you can do it👍👍👍…
Qinwen.. Is ❤ into the final.. Silent VS yelling
I'm not surprised Zheng survived on this half of the draw, I'm surprised how Rybakina and Iga didn't, Svitolina fully favourite when both fell and then Zheng obviously.
Iga is good only on dirt. Elena's defeat was a genuine surprise.
Yeah, rybakina choked, pity.
After that epic choke in blinkova match Rybakina didn’t deserve to win this tournament
@@muzna510 I agree and I didn't pick her as the fav to the title but cmon... At least QFs weren't the toughest thing ever

I just saw Zheng play for the first time. I've seen some professional tennis and now I will watch Zheng matches. I think she is great for the sport. Wish Zheng the best in her tennis career and others projects in her life. Stay healthy with ❤
Come on Zheng Qinwen. Do it for Li Na, a whole country is rooting you on
Bad English, but I know what you mean
No do it for yourself
@@user-im5wc4bn3vit’s not bad english
@@Crad4DRC I did not mean grammatically bad. It just gives me a weird taste. Why is she doing for Lina? although Lina is one of my favorite players. She does it for herself. Sure, many people love and support Qinwen, and myself included. But you cannot declare for the whole country.
@@user-im5wc4bn3v ah i see. i apologize. in that case i would have maybe said “poor choice of words”
Usually she would show a lot of emotions, but tonight she held until the last 2 points. Well done, Zheng! Great work.
Zheng has been knocking on the door of a deep run at a major for a year and a half, and she's finally there. I don't think she can overcome Sabalenka, but getting to a major final is a great tailwind for her career.
Congratulations 🎉❤Zheng
Even if she Zheng couldn’t take the title time lot of achievement accomplishment add to her success experience. She definitely be one of the favorites in other tournaments. She will get championship trophies in her future. Matter when ?.
With the help of luck(wide open draw after all the top seeds' exit) and consistent performance, Zheng is in the final. But IMO she will have to give it alot more if she wants to challenge Sabalenka in the final
I think the outcome depends on how Sabalenka serves. Sabalenka was not as dominant against Coco in the other semi. It is very hard to break Sabalenka when she is serving well.
@@benthekeeshond545Same for Zheng. She needs to up her serving game to stand a chance against an in-form Sabalenka.
Sabalenks just needs to play at 75% and she will win
@@benthekeeshond545 Sabalenka faced a much bigger challenge in Gauff, though. Yastremska should be easily beatable by most top players.

Ana Ivanovic prediction for the Final match is correct... Qinwen Zheng vs Aryna Sabalenka. Rooting for Qinwen to win this grandslam.
And by 27 she should have at least 4 grand slams + a baby also.... Or else she'll be considered Chinese left over women. Because people are already dragging Osaka down just to make Zheng look better 🤣🤣

Kids in China thinking of tennis as a career now have someone they can look up to 👍 congratulations Qinwen 👏🎉

Missed the match. And didnt really get a real sense of their level based on these highlights. Hopefully the extended highlights fix that.
Yastremska was playing at 100 miles an hour and spraying winners and errors like there was no tomorrow - especially after getting a knock; Zheng hit deep, solid, pretty consistent and very clutch, especially with the serve
