Street Spectator Drags and 5 lap race from Star Speedway April 22nd, 2023. Just a small/early event, wasn't sure how many cars would show up, but figured we'd check out the racetrack! Single elimination the whole way through, so no best of 3 finals. Thank you to all who put these on!

I agree, I live next to PIR Delta Park, North Portland. We can literally 'hear' but not see the races from our house. I love mechanics and electronics. My hat goes off to those who can afford to soup up cars and race. Love the racers/mechanics and Carbon for sharing these wonderful vids.

I've seen Ben Lahey (the driver of the Audi) race in previous spectator drag videos on this channel, this definitely didn't look like his usual driving.

Never mind it’s not the same one.
The s10 and the blazer had v6 turbo variants. The cyclone and typhoon. The s10/cyclone was the fastest truck from like the 80s to early 2000s. Totally slept on. OK I see it its a typhoon. Absolutely nasty! A kid I went to school with got picked up by his dad in a cyclone and his dad launched it. It was a freaking rocket

This is a "must send" between Car Guy friends. I got it sent, and then I had to send it on. Done with Drag Racing, so long ago Im done with that. This is real racing man, the only thing you need to have balls for is getting your car's finish scuffed, scratched or scraped. If you can handle that just go for it, floor it Brethren!

Man I wish we had that kind of stuff here in SW FLA. But no, boringville as usual. Had this back in Colorado back in the late 80's. Not sure if they still do it there either.
Launch from Audi wernt great but I knew it would win the five lap. Good show. RSX driver can wheel. S10 is goated.
When he was racing the truck he didn't launch it off the line on purpose he wanted to wait and see how the truck was going to act kind of him sliding around that car we run circles around that truck and they both know it

That Blazer is legendary. Audi with the sick bump and run though!
I'm surprised how well the RSX did in the final run.
He's a constant competitor and usually wins a lot, his car was acting up, probably from the last set of races where he kinds wrecked with someone lol

I feel a proper equipped civic type r with a good driver could do well in these races. I live nowhere near these tracks, but I think after launch a type r could make a rally good run

I just wish there was some rules, that Jimmy was a full race truck with circle track setup on chassis. That Audi was the best thing out there.
