This has become my favorite type of racing. It’s so diverse and accessible both to watch and compete in.
That rsx and scoob are really well balanced, very clearly shows function over form and I love to see it. Best believe all the 4cyl boys back home are rooting for you two

Burning down was secondary to being cocky and giving an entire car-length head start lol

It sucks that the flagman burned down the Chevy truck with the turbo but that Acura is badass that is an NA Acura RSX it is just nuts awesome

Same here. I feel like he could've pushed the subie a little harder in the turns but I'm watching from the couch so I can't say much
@@bholc420 He mentioned it was pushing pretty bad, and AWD is gonna be REAL tough to loosen up in those corners. Part of the problem is, and i completely understand, was corner entry was really low. I'd be real nervous to use more track around someone else in my daily driver. I'm curious if the C-Diff was locked as rear as possible.

Great show, I love that rsx, he can drive it well and it'll hang with the big dogs usually, I do think if the white truck hadn't gave a head start it would've been a tight race on that one.

Was rooting for the Acura the Subaru kinda slowed him down on the turns the acura is definitely faster
I had to hit brakes on last turn on the last race so I didn’t hit him but it’s all a part of racing, he deserves the win for sure

4:10 dude in the red stang probably just crapped his pants when he cranked those front tires 30 degrees and kept going straight. LOL! This track is coated in vaseline. Anybody without AWD is gonna be struggling.

Is that RSX naturally aspirated? If it is, I'm super impressed! If it's turbocharged, I'm still impressed :) Also, final rounds should be 2 lap shootouts to give the non-AWD cars a fairer fight.

The Cutlass acted like he was leaking fluids. Guy in the red truck never took it out of first gear. What happened to the guy in the ATT truck? He’s disappeared. The guy in the Subaru needs to trust his car in the corner. Good time.
AT&T truck was sold, that other white silverado is the same guy.

@@myrrhavm AT&T truck was on stock suspension and was rear wheel drive, he has swapped the driveline from an AWD gmc Denali, great setup. Truck has a built transmission but the engine has almost 500k miles on it.
People don't seem to understand if you want to drift you use low profile fan tires if you want to drag race you have to have meat on your rims fat sticky tires not low profile which is a lot of people's problems on the driver they don't think about that
It's beyond me how many people are building trucks for this. Why start with a clear disadvantage?

Mustang needs a driver mod, my 2020 GT has no issues with rice rockets on the track. Mind you I've done suspension upgrades...
It was a street car with street tires versus a race car with track tires. That Mustang had no chance.

Everyone was racing according to the stated rules so this is jmo, but AWD vehicles should be a class of their own; it's almost impossible for a RWD vehicle to successfully launch [especially on dirt], or be competitive on tracks this short once they're multiple car lengths behind. It's akin to a 4x4 and a 2x4 competing in a hill climb contest. It was good racing though.

Get rid of the announcer. Not positive
If the final was 3 continuous laps that Subi would have lost. The RSX clearly was quicker and had more speed. The Subi only won with the awd advantage on the launch. Convert that RSX to awd, drop a turbo on it, and that Subi would be a non factor
Conversely, give the Subie grippier tires, better suspension and put it on a diet and the RSX would have no chance.
