If he got in your head, he won the matchup. Rodman was known to get technical fouls and play dirty. But he always gave as good as he got to the guy he was guarding. He pushed the borders of what was legal, but he did it in a way that gave his team such an advantage.

There is an old, old Reader's Digest article about Rodman and his friendship with and help of a young boy who was an invalid, if I remember correctly, and was in and out of the hospital. I don't remember a lot of the details, but it was very touching. Several NBA players have stated that Rodman is a sweetheart of a person, when he is not on the ball court. I can't help but picture him, in the past, pulling some of this BS on Wilt Chamberlain, who was famous for not putting up with antics similar to this, and sending players flying with a turn of his shoulders, or a wave of his arm.

He did to some degree actually. Team mates have testified that though they didn't speak much to each other, they respected the hell out of each other. MJ respected what The Worm could do & the latter would accept any salary for the opportunity to play with the GOAT. I think MJ was one of a handful in pro basketball that The Worm would listen to. Getting the other teams big guy in foul trouble early, while smiling. Controlling the paint even with size disadvantages. He pushed the borders of what was legal, but he did it in a way that gave his team such an advantage.
Malone n Rodman most legendary matchup. Guys love each other.
I loved watching Rodman play, he was every entertaining to watch lol.. Actually saw him having lunch in Huntington Beach Ca a few years ago, should have hit him up for a picture..
😂 love Jordan acting like big bro and telling Dennis when to calm down.
I miss that era....
That era is obsolete.
@@ibashcommunists6847 but we love it...........
😆Dennis' eyes @ 6:47...Chuck played right into his antics!
😂😂😂
Definition of tenacity and grit. Rodman was someone you wanted on your squad and not on the opposing team. Love the guy
I remember how Rodman and Barkley went toe to toe every year for the #1 leader of technical fouls :D. Good times.
Don't forget Rasheed Wallace
@@keith4720this was before Sheed
I miss those NBA days. Rodman was a clown, but I loved watching him play. He helped make the game fun and entertaining. Could you imagine if he would've gone on to be a coach! That would be fun to watch!
So guys, today we are training slap ass.
Rodman: Today, we learn how to troll your opponent. It's much more fun than it looks.
I FREAKING LOVE Dennis Rodman!!!!!
Those leg Locks had me Crying, lmao
The most iconic player I've ever seen 🔥
6:45 rodman is the greatest in his own way..he knew that elbow was coming..
the anticipation on his face 😆 and exaggeration after the blow 😆. Gotta luv em!
@@alco1414 That was hilarious watching him look for the elbow 😂
Best thing on this is how the commentator allready knew what will happen bevor it happend with Barkley & Rodman. 😂😂
Rodman making other players a cry baby... Imagine him guarding lebron 🤣 😂 HAHAHA
😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 the queen sorry the king would've been a tower boy.
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
He would've stopped the game and ask the ref to get him out of the game 🤣🤣🤣🤣
His multi-tasking skills are next level. Being the best rebounder in the NBA was second nature to him. So he went further and started to get into his opponents heads.
Rodman just had fun. Enjoyed every moment and never took the game for granted. Respect!
Probably the greatest small forward rebounder ever ! Played like a 7 foot kid !
"Its just hugs and butt slaps, your honour." -The Worm
the greatest entertainer in NBA History
I absolutely enjoy his videos. He was brilliant.
6:15 Rodman acts like Malone hurt him 😂😂😂
Rodman Mastered the Game he did the dirty work
The High Mentality Player of all time!.. No Doubt!. He is, Dennis Rodman.. i love this Guy the way he Play in Court!..
Imagine Rodman playing now with access to social media. He would be the biggest troll.
During the second 3 peat, Rodman would have an account dedicated to winding MJ up. Phil Jackson: Um, Dennis, did you piss Michael off? Rodman: Yes. I like winning almost as much as Michael does. Phil: Fair enough. Try not to wind him up too much. I don't want him to have an aneurysm.
Exciting highlights! Salute to Dennis Rodman And to the editor of this clip! 😇
Dennis really fun to watch. I just hope someone like him will be able to play in the NBA today.
he play the real basketball
Era un deleite ver a rodman, pipen, y Michael... pero el rodman era genial...jajajaja era como un labrador travieso y dominante. Jajaja
6:02 - 6:10 is the funniest shit I ever seen I’m in tears 💀💀💀 What a character
Haha pretty creative way to keep knocking down/tripping the same guy while looking completely accidental / coincidental
I'm fuckin dying laughing
My favorite player of all time. No one made basketball more enjoyable to watch.
The NBA needs another Rodman!!!
The Worm was the master at playing mind games!
I love how Michael steps in and tries to control him 😁😁
He did to some degree actually. Team mates have testified that though they didn't speak much to each other, they respected the hell out of each other. MJ respected what The Worm could do & the latter would accept any salary for the opportunity to play with the GOAT. I think MJ was one of a handful in pro basketball that The Worm would listen to. Liked the story about him collecting Rodman at a hotel while Rodman's gf at that time, Carmen Electra, was hiding. 🤣🤣🤣
@@isa-veraswan I think what sets Dennis Rodman apart from others, is that this guy really played with his heart. When you see someone that’s really passionate about what they do, it’s inspiring.
2:32 that look, hilarious
Love Rodman bro 😂
This dude was a master at what he did
thanks to current nba rules we will always have one and the only rodman when it comes to mind game
Bird was the master at mind games. Even Jordan took a page out of his book.
i could watch this allllll day
What a legend
So much content from one player lol. Dude is such a legend
Now this iz 1of the Goats🐐
Lol at Rodman and Malone having a friendly game of slap ass
So funny watching Rodman interacted with Malone lol
A true team mate, that's fights tooth n nail for the game of basketball with a smile,90% of the time he got in the heads. N hows how physical it was than compared to now. He's a game changer.
The people paid for entertainment and he delivered every time! There will never be another Bulls team that was followed so hard around the world. They definitely were a huge Micheal Jackson show every night. Miss the 80s and 90s
Man i can watch these all Dennis da menace💪💪💪
I loved how he restrained his opponents arms both left and right at the free throw rebound...classic worm defense
When barkley hits him first, he know that he will hit again so he waited and then acted hurt. 😄😄😄
The Bulls Fans sure did love the Dennis Rodman antics. They loved seeing him getting into opponents heads.
Good Times ,crazy game🤣🤣🤣,legend,i love it!!!
Jordan and Rodman are a perfect couple lol
Rodman was worth the price of admission alone!
2:51 The energy that this guy brings 😂😂
Greatest entertainer in basketball
Rodman smacking ass like key in that Dominican baseball player sketch
"Ass slap"
Best friend, worst enemy, he's pretty great
Nothing will ever make me laugh harder than Rodman staring at Brickowski during Jordan's free throws.
Those high kick rebounds are absolutely hilarious. I used to do that in my high school games to emulate Rodman and my coach would get so mad.
Rodman was a defensive beast So under appreciated and underrated
Mind game master🙌
An kept a smile on his face in every game I just love D.R
one of the best ...
dennis taking off his jersey and throwing it in the crowd grrr the countless ejections will live in my hear forever thanks to the menace❤
Legend.
17 techs in 13 games 😂😂😂
Ron Artest use to remind me of of Rodman. I loved it when he became a laker the story of how he talked to Kobe about joining is very Rodman like as well. But feel like his energy is what completed that championship puzzle piece.
Barkley said I ain't fuckin around went straight to the elbow. 😂
Always having fun. he once said, "I get paid to play a game I love to play." Amazing defender and rebounder and always in peoples heads.
The ‘Tag. You’re it.’ ass slapping contest between Rodman and Malone was hilarious.
Rodman vs The Sonics was legendary
