    • Actually he said "it's all in the toss" - and that is true. The more consistent your toss, the better you disguise it, the better your server will be. It's the foundation of the serve. Doesn't sound that difficult right? Well, no. Being able to place the ball at the exact same position and being able to adjust it with weather/wind conditions is VITAL to a good serve.

  • One of the only interviews (and a testament to the kind of person Roger is) where the interviewee seemed 100% happy to do this. So many of the other ones give off the vibe that they're annoyed at having to answer the questions or want to get it over with as soon as possible which really makes you wonder why they agreed to do them in the first place.

    • I love fed, but I usually don't see the link between being a good or bad guy and bank balance. If anything, you have to maintain your image to retain sponsors and fans who buy tickets to your matches. So with fame, they have to be better behaved - not that I think that's what Roger is doing. He has always struck me as a genuinely nice person.

The time that i've been most annoyed with a match was the final of that year (against Djokovic 2019), i still nowadays watch the game with the hope that Roger wins, but nole was mentally better that day

    • the turning point there was when Federer led 6:3, 5:4 30:30 on his serve and Delpo hit two great difficult passing shots, the first one of them just touching the line. when i watched the match i was thinking that Federer should have won it, but the ifs never count, Delpo absolutely deserved that win, was just the better man on that day.

  • The moment when he asked about how do you feel about MATCH point, God this was the Wimbledon which he lost after getting 2 Championship points, Would never forget that moment as a Federer fan, it's sick still hurts! This guy even being so successful has gotten Toughest defeats over the years, three close 5 set losses in finals to his biggest rivals.
