Bruh thank you I didn’t know if I could laugh at another one of her jokes lol
@@Sanchezshootz lmao this comment about her jokes made me laugh too, thanks XD
@@ADCFproductions women aren't funny.
I'm convinced Ashley is using these videos to add to her upcoming stand up comedy career portfolio
Bahaha, who knows!?
If the Jokes are her Styling Tips, she is pretty good
Yeah she’s hilarious, her Jordan Peterson joke at 10:23 had me in hysterics
Attractive female with style and good sense of humor. My dream girl.
Ashley is becoming more creative in her language and presentation recently.
"Walk this way?" Ha! Really appreciate the addition touch of humor, Ashley. Great suggestions, as always. Slippers? Yes! Super addition to the footwear roster.
I’ve boiled it down to: white sneakers, brown and black loafers (warm season,) brown and black Chelsea’s (cool season,) and a pair of black Oxford for formal events. Any other purchase is just to feed my shoe addiction.
Great video. There's always room. For timberlands in the fall/winter months
great video. i do wear nice leather and shearling slippers/moccasins indoors. I found that daily wear can make them have a bad smell, since no socks. Cleaning wasn’t easy, and did not go well. However, I have since put inside them ‘odor eater inserts’ that are comfy, and keep my feet feeling very fresh and cleanl; most importantly, not stinky! Also, for cooking, I have my ‘kitchen shoes’…. ones where you do not mind getting dirty. I just happened to have clogs (Dansco’s).. the kind some medical professionals and chefs wear… not attractive at all, but I had them from prior job use, and I found great use for them. They offer easy on/easy off, so when entering and leaving the kitchen, and do not skin on wet floors. Just a suggestion…. ‘kitchen shoes’. 🤷♂️. I used to wear my nice slippers, but those are not the best for cooking; they get dirty, requiring regular cleaning
I love that you really care about how men look. Thanks for your help.
Yes 👍🏼 you nailed it Loafer’s & Driver Shoes Especially Salvatore Ferragamo they are the bomb 💣
Roots boots. They're beautiful, durable, and will last YEARS. Especially good for Canadian winters!
I agree with 100% save the boots. Timberland boots are the go to because they just work and look decent. I'm going with practicality in this case.
Sometimes I feel like Ashley's recommendations need to be taken with a grain of salt. I think a classic wheat Timberland is essential if you're trying to pull off a more urban/street outfit. I try to dress up to Ashley's standards most evenings, but there's definitely days where a more casual and youthful streetwear style is more appropriate and looks great.
Well made video from top to bottom. Thank you for all of the information.
Amazing video as always...can you look into sandals....when and how to were them? Cause they can be fashionable right?
Nice pitch for Ace Mark!! Great vid really enjoyed it
Where I’m from flip flop or sandals is a staple due to our weather only have 2 seasons either it’s wet or dry seasons so we use it all the time but then there are time we use shoes for certain occasions even going for a dinner we use flip flop
I love your videos Ashley - you are so 'atuned' to my style and classic fashion taste. Keep creating great content 👌 😊 BTW the Jordan Peterson thing made me choke on my tea 😂
Ashley, I'm on the older side of things (I'm 56) I would put the low top sneakers in the essential category if I was a younger man. I have sneakers for use on my treadmill, but as someone older than 50 I don't wear sneakers casually. For me: (yes to slippers (LL Bean), yes to Oxfords (Allen Edmonds) Yes to boots (Red Wing Iron Rangers) and yes to loafers (Allen Edmonds)
You're not too old. I'm 54 and while I have all of those shoes as well (although I have Allen Edmonds and Nordstrom boots, not Red Wings) I also have a pair of Stan Smiths and a pair of Clark's brown leather sneakers and I get compliments on both all of the time.
As someone over 60, I agree and approve this comment. I kept saying as I listened: "what do you have for us Adults?"
@@justsomeoldguy3839 just don't leave the house
You’re never too old for a classy pair of low top sneakers like common projects or axel arigato
I have a pair of Ace Marks low tops and they are nice for tennis shoes but I almost never wear them because I don't wear shorts or jeans much. Casual to me is penny loafers
Finally. More jokes than boots in video. I've waited this concept for years.
lmaoooooo XD
Finally figured it out!! After watching heaps of your great fashion advice vlogs; all I need to do is note everything I wear, say, etc., put it in book form and title it: "Things Never to Wear or Say"! However, I still do OK; as there seems to be a rather large group out there either mentally unbalanced or simply have equally bad taste!
Hi Ashley. Love the channel. At around 12:35, can you tell me the brand of that particular navy blue loafer with the tassel? Beautiful shoe. Thanks!!!
I love your channel!!!
Bring it Ashley! You Rock!
You should absolutely own some Yeezy's foam runners, girls love em
I love sneakers at a wedding and I won’t change!
Where I’m from slippers or sandals is a staple due to our weather only have 2 seasons either it’s wet or dry seasons so we use it all the time but then there are time we use shoes for certain occasions even going for a dinner we use slipper
Love your content!
You get the right pair of casual boots, give them a good shine and you can wear them as a dress boot.
Your content and Jordan Peterson’s content have lifted me out of dark places, and changed me to become a better man. Although his conservatism can sound jarring to our Californian sensibilities, the jab did hurt a little, because his work has empowered me to take responsibility, have integrity, and like with your style advice, carry myself with dignity.
on the same page brutha
I have no idea what dry means, so as a JP fan, I reserve judgment. I don't think JP is "conservative". He's not woke/left wing/intolerant SJW. That's some Californians, not all.
Agreed, you'd think someone who makes a career off of men trying to improve themselves would at least understand why Peterson has had such a profound positive affect on a lot of "lost" men and given them a direction forward. People clip too often clip a 10 second video of an entire 30 minute discussion around a complex issue, just to get clicks and a headline. He says things that may sound bold or unnerving, but typically it's when he's postulating on a hypothetical situation or being dramatic to drive a point home. Throwing out a cheap shot just seems... Petty, in my opinion. If you have watched his lectures, podcasts, interviews and read his books and don't findamentall agree with a lot of what he's saying, then explain why you don't in a constructive manner. Otherwise, name-dropping him in the manner done in this video just seems like you're doing it to show other liberals your "on the right side" so they can pat you on the back, meanwhile you're alienating your subscribers/watchers that do agree with a lot of what be says.
Jordan Peterson's content is awesome.
Haha, I didn't view the "dry" comment as jab-- conversations can be dry, comedy can be dry... it just means there's no flash or superfluous entertainment value.
I was with you until you dissed Jordan Peterson lol. Great video, super helpful!
Este video estuvo muy entretenido. Gracias Ashley!
Great content! I am in the market for casual sneakers, debating between dark blue or black with white sole.
Ashley, I see you put Dr. Martens on the budget boots list. I eyed them many times, but always avoided getting, for fear they are too chunkey, and as with Timberlands, have a too big of a toe box. I would really appreciate hearing your opinion on them (specifically in black, for a slim all black outfit, such as Dorian once wore). Cheers!
if you’re on the thin side it’ll bring attention to your feet but if you’re bigger then go for the made in London line. Quality is amazing
Docs are nowhere near as chunky as Timberlands, which is originally designed as work boots. That said, Docs aren't as slim profiled as Chelsea Boots so if that's what you like, then go for Chelsea Boots. If there's a reason not to buy Doc Martens, it's because their quality has gone to shit. Even the Made in England one. They used to have lugged soles but now they have this super thin outsole that wouldn't last long at all, and they're a bitch to resole. So now they're only good for the occasional wear as a fashion item.
As Dave above has pointed out, Doc Martens quality control isn't what it was. I'd recommend checking out Solovair - they had the original licence to produce DMs in the UK from the 1960s to the 1990s and now make their own air-cushioned boots which are a far superior quality to DMs current offerings imo.
What do you recommend for extra wide width or 4E or H?
yay! Boots! More boot content and recommendations!
Agreed with almost everything except the slip-on shoes
the casual outfits are great but what about those days we have to wear suits into the office? any videos specific to formal business wear?
Love to see a video on how to break in these dress shoes, I have expensive dress shoes that I can't break in!
Great idea!
You just need to wear them friend, the leather needs to mold the shape of your foot, and learn your wearing and walking patterns.
I love all of your videos they have been very helpful. I have ran across a combination of two of your favorite shoe and summer shoe in one. Which leads me to wonder if it is a definite yes or hard no which I’m torn between. Lol
Which are the men’s Sperry soletide 2-eye white sneaker or just there regular soletide white sneaker thank you for your input and time
Regarding slippers: they tend to accumulate bacteria and odor pretty quickly, and washing them isn't ideal (+ a hassle) ; that's why I just have crocs for home. Regarding Oxford shoes: impractical for me; I will literally wear them once a year maybe for a wedding invitation... wearing them to work isn't comfortable enough.
Each unique pair, made by hand when it comes out of a factory that manufactures thousands of pairs per year, is a miracle :) or a marketing discourse :)
Hi ash! have you ever thought about a dedicated series on dressing for each body type? I know you incorporate it into more item specific vids like sweaters. but how about a video dedicated for fashion on large people, skinny people, for the entire season!
Maybe would consider it, but our forthcoming app will do just that - give you details specific to your body type, age, height and skintone, so not sure if a produced video series would be all that necessary!
You're the encyclopedia of Men's style.
Thanks Peter!!
Came for the fashion advice, stayed for the shade on lobster daddy 😂😂😂
For boots, you should have mentioned Chelsea Boots. They are my personal favorite. Comfortable, stylish and they go with pretty much everything. And they don’t have any laces. I’m honestly really surprised you didn’t mention them.
Me too.
I’m glad she didn’t
Unless you live somewhere that is kinda f-150's and horses rural. Similar but a bit more dapper is a nice chukka boot.
That Jordan Peterson burn tho hahahaha
Hi Ashley, what's the proper way of wearing a boots on jeans like for example the dr martens boots..
Hi, Are there any dinner function acceptable shoes that are healthy for your feet, hopefully with a 4E wide size option? I'd appreciate it.
chuka and chelsea boots i choose you!
A few years ago oxford with jeans was "no no" :D Actually, I was wearing them, but everybody was like: with jeans you should wear brogue, oxford are not for such a casual style.
Just goes to show how arbitrary and ever-changing this all is.
An oxford is too formal of a shoe to wear with jeans. They should be reserved for dress slacks and suits. Derby's are a much more suitable shoe to wear with jeans.
BIG YES!!! jordan 1 on a wedding!!!!
Well that's completely inaccurate since brogue isn't a style as such but the name of the holes punched into the leather that form the medallion and other designs and was originally done to allow water to drain OUT of the shoe. The counterstyle to Oxford's would be Derby's which are a simpler construction where the uppers are an open construction rather than the closed construction of Oxfords. :) The more correct phrase therefore would have been "Oxfords not Derbys". Either way the whole formal/informal thing is somewhat meh, I have various gorgeous shoes which work excellently with jeans and the shoes just happen to be Oxfords. As far as the notion of formal goes, I wouldn't wear certain pairs with a suit because they aren't just plain dark brown/tan or black!
a brogue was at traditionally a country shoe so more casual, oxfords are more a full on dress shoe. I think some like derby brogue boots or chukka boots with jeans and shirt is hitting that smart casual mark, maybe some brown brogues at a push. I wouldn't wear oxfords with jeans personally too formal.
The jordan peterson comment was so uncalled for.
The Jordan Pederson comment had me dying lmao.....
😜

Good info. Thanks.
Hi Ashley! No show socks- what is your suggestion for the best brand that doesn’t roll under the arch even though it may have a tiny rubber heel grip? Thanks!
Depends on the shoe! Uniqlo makes decent ones, Bombas are also good. If you want more input, post on the private community and you'll get some other great options, I'm sure: community.mensfashioner.com
Thank you! ❤
Greetings from sunny Singapore. Fantastic video presentation
You're so awesome in all your videos
Would boat shoes work in the Loafer/Espadrille spot?
What is your favorite minimalist white sneaker between koio, beckett/siminon???
Everybody listen to her advice. A low top lace up sneaker from many brands is a must.
What's the name of the type of coat on the 2nd guy in minute 9:52 from left to right?
Thank you 😎
Those shoes are enormous!
how did jordan peterson get in here . his comment section is probably the least dry out of all youtube comment sections lmao
Took me by surprise too lol.
Where
I was thinking the same. I had to rewind the video to make sure I heard well. Don't mess with JP lady
J Peterson followers are more likely to watch these videos 🤦🏻♂️
Bro. . . I was completely thrown off by that JP comment 🤣
Ashley, big fan here! I appreciate not only the list but the recommendations for each shoe as well! However, would you consider making a video about what to wear for common situation? This is a problem I have, even after upgrading my wardrobe with your recommendations :/ anyway, thanks for what you do, you have helped me so much!
I really like Haflinger slippers.
Perfect video 👌
Well I'm person who lives near and loves the beach for surf and who is a waiter so always on my feet. I have low top white shoes with no laces. Which happened to be orthotic shoes. hich is good cause my feet are bad when I walk, but hardly warn cause hard to clean, but have been looking to get some good white shoes with laces, also Just recently for valentine's day, being a single guy I thought Id spend some money on some Milton Street Utility Boots which are leather and I love them. Only just under $250 and it's a shoe made in my country from a company called Rodd and Gunn. I never warn anything but sock's around the house so haven't thought about slippers bit anyways been trying to update my wardrobe and getting the boots was a great idea to complete a few outfits also since ppl tend to look at what shoes you have on, also makes me look taller and stand more prouder.
Crocs are great for camping
Thoughts on Red Wing boots?
Thank you
Well, as a shoes maniacs 😆 i do have tons of shoes.... But todays with all the things happened in the world, i only wear Birkenstock clog in the house, low/high double zipper converse for practical short trips like groceries, lace up nubuck brown boots timberland earth keeper, i stayed out from the icon is to bright in 6 inches, prefer lower in that color to not get mixed with a rapper 😆..... Have never worn all my dress shoes, dress boots, other sneakers for 2 years now 😩
Hello Ashley or anyone who can help. I have a Brown suit and would like to know what color shoes that will work with my darker brown suit jacket and slacks in a semi-formal outfit? It's a nice darker brown suit. Would brown shoes clash?

What type of shoes are those at 14:00 ?
What would be the recommendations for low top sneakers?
The ones you like
Ashley, what do you mean by Jordan Peterson's comment section is "dry" ?
Can anyone tell me what brand are these boots at 11:25?
You are the best.
Ashley what are your thoughts on western/cowboy boots?
I think you'll know if you live in a place where that would work. Definitely wouldn't work well in a coastal or northern state, but would probably be received well if you live in the southwest or somewhere with a similar culture.
Ashley best
Love the channel. The JP comment made me lol. He does have impeccable style however.
"... like a real man" earned Ms. W. a Like from me.
Can anybody tell me the name of the song at the beginning?

When I was young I used to go into my friend’s house. I used to wander what the smell was. A few years later I realised that it was the smell of sweaty feat. None of them wore slippers. M.
