Love footwear videos and watch them all.. However very surprised that hardly any of them mention the classic Puma. Puma are my everyday go too's since 1984. And IMO are perfect old schools and are timeless. Just my opinion. Bought a pair of thursday sneakers recently and absolutely love them!!! I'm sure they are better than puma in every way but are also twice the price. For an everyday beater puma is still my choice and at 60 bucks are affordable for me and are easy to replace when needed.

My top 5 go to sneakers I like to use 1) Reebok Classic Harman (White/Gum sole) 2) Chuck Taylor's Hi-Top (Black) 3) Nike Blazer (White) 4) Diodora N.92 (Multi color pattern) 5) Jordan 1 (Dark Mocha)
Sneaker wise, New Balance is my core. 990, 1500, 550, 327, 237, etc I do have some Jordan low dunks for the summer. Also own a couple of mids. Air Force 1 triple whites for the whites. Ultraboost for gym. New Balance 410 for trail walking or running. Some Ecco boots for the colder weather.
In my rotation I have: Running shoe: New Balance Vongo V5 (I have flat feet so I need runners with good support) White Low-Top: Adidas Superstars in white with black stripes All rounder: New Balance 574's in navy Statement: I don't have a proper statement piece but my globe CTIV's are quite flashy.
The white leather low tops are so easy to clean. Thank you!
If you're worried about keeping white sneakers clean, get some Mr Clean Magic Eraser pads (or the off brand equivalent). It's great for stains on white leather and midsoles/outsoles. Every now and then you can place them in a shallow tray of clean water (maybe with a few drops of clear dish soap) overnight and give them a scrub in the morning. Get spare laces or give dirty ones a wash or soak them in water and oxyclean. For yellowing rubber, apply a creme whitener like SalonCare 40 (available at beauty/hair stores) and set them in the sun for a while. Make sure you wash it off and avoid getting it on your skin.

I love your personality, despite not always agreeing with your content/comments, however it’s all good - if everyone in the world liked them same things, how boring would that be ? My picks for this summer would be the 1)Teddy Santis New Balance collection. All 🔥 and premium materials. 2) Kith 990v3 Daytona (bit colorful for some, but I love ‘em) I like the two other color ways too 3) Nike Air Force 1 ‘07 fresh white. A little bit more elevated than your regular white on white Air Force 1, with a leather that supposedly doesn’t crease.4) Aime Leon Dore New Balance 550s 5) Nike Cortez Union collab in the sesame color way. I’m a New Balance head who occasionally dips my toes into Nikes.

Hey Ashley, Heres my challenge. How would you dress a rapper like Post Malone, Lil Pump, Migos and such? And what can you say about Jerry Lorenzo’s way of fashion?
My pick-3, *1) an athletic shoe*(ex. Metcons or Nanos, because these function for all forms of exercise from running to powerlifting), *2) a work-casual shoe* (look for something that looks good dirty so you can wear it casually, ex leather boots such as timberlands, redwings, Thursdays, etc), *3) a formal shoe* (ex oxfords/monkstraps, only for special occasions or business). Shoes I avoid include white sneakers because they are difficult to keep clean, so unless you clean/replace frequently they aren't going to look good with regular wear, but a good alternative would be dark/black sneakers with a white welt or cream/tan sneakers. My favorite sneakers are wolverine 1000mi hi tops in chestnut, and u can get them for under $60.

My favorite statement sneaker has to be the Air Jordan 11 in the Concord or Space Jam color way. These definitely stand out because of the shiny patent leather but they look so sleek.

the New Balance 990 on the first photo (at 7m 14s) is the original V1, model M990VS1, which was limited-released in mid 2021, and it is no longer available. The newer 990 models, V2-V5, are dramatically different looking sneakers - quite chunky, loud in style, compared to the much more slick and elegant V1 model. If you want something closer to 990 V1 consider New Balance 574. I hope New Balance releases the original 990 V1 in near future.

New balance are junk. I have a pair, and for some reason the plastic counter decided to fold in, right into the heal . Since the cheap material over the counter was ripping it was easy to get some angle cutters and cut the plastic counter down to size, below the bend.

After years self experience with white sneakers, i found it not practical and not too essential. First its very easy to get dirty, 2nd, its often create harsh contrast with other outfit, so i reccomend you to get of white/cream/light grey instead of white sneaker. It works for me

I live in Quebec (canada) and beside the converse sneakers, i would say that the most popular sneakers are the black one with a white sole (nike, reebok). People are wearing them a lot , more than the white one...
Ashley, I am 57 years old, all white sneakers look so Marty McFly 1985 to me. That is what we wore in the 80's, the look seems tired to me now. I also don't get the "signature sneaker." I trust you, and think your great, but I will not be sporting either this year. I will stick to a woven herringbone sneaker, or classic leather boat shoes. I guess I am getting too old for walking on the wild side.

I was so into Jordans and Kobes back in highschool and college but now that I'm in my late 30s I prefer Trainers, Running shoes, Chukka boots, and Loafers.

I always been a somewhat of a sneaker head. Hype beasts n bots messed the game up. You can't even by a pair of retro Jay's without paying atleast double. I haven't been able to get a pair at retail since about 2014
