Yes to the fuchsia! And that is exactly how I do my borders after measuring the side in 3 places and using an average length to cut the border. 😂

I love watching your videos and your content even when you put different things together like the look through the parts center. We all have a parts center whether or not we call it that! 😂😂 I love how the Millie’s Dresses came out. I pin the borders like that too. In fact when I am doing a large span I pin at the halves and the quarters to make it easier. That’s how I did it when I sewed clothes so it just carried over. As much as you love the taffy quilt, you need to get it quilted so it can have its own rotation behind the couch. It would be a great spring or summer quilt and you could enjoy looking and reminiscing for a whole month. Just a thought.

I so wish I had some of my mom's clothes to have been able to make some of these dresses. Back in the day she wore dresses a little more especially to church until they changed to where it was acceptable to wear pants. I love the fuschia border in yours. I know you have so much going on, but I think you should get the Sampler quilt quilted to be able to see it & enjoy it 😊😊 As far as the little snippets you add to the videos-YES, keep plugging them in!!! So fun! Parts center to the rescue 🤣🤣
Love that Earth day quilt block. This environmental chemist needs to make that block. It would be a great way to commemorate over 30 years of working to clean up lots of hazardous waste sites in our country. My hubby also an environmental chemist recently retired from US EPA. Love your “taffy” quilt. ❤. I love your little segments. I love how you got so excited about having just the right amount of half square triangles. Only another quilter would get how exciting it is when a plan comes together.

I always ease my borders using the same method. I also find the centers between the right end and the center as well as the left end. I pin a ton of places!
