American problem is they lost industrial base, and they have nothing to trade except weapons and overprinted money. Everyday Americans are having a very difficult time with inflation which is almost at a 4.5% Devastating! We’ve got to get that inflation back to normal. what is your advice for a 20 year old investor?
I had an epiphany about a year ago when I started doing a deep dive into the actual events going on in Ukraine and how this whole mess got started (The Midan Cuop, Donbass, the Minsk accords etc.) Which lead me into looking at the new economic alliance China and Russia were pioneering in order to bypass SWIFT and US dollar hegemony. The realization I came to was the very thing that gave the US government and military all of its power stemed from printing dollars and they used those dollars to then increase the size and power of the US government itself. Giving politicians and beuracrats this power is a drug they immediately and systemically became addicted to. Which with their new power and size they inevitably turned inward and began finding new reasons why they needed to increase their size and scope once again. This cycle continued for decades and of course lead to the near collapse of the US dollars we face today, through the inescapable economic realities of inflation. So, like the one ring in Lord of the Rings, the very source of the US governments power that allowed it to grow its size and scope was the one thing that was always going to inexorably crush them under the weight of their own reckless printing. They have hoisted themselves on their own petard and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving group of power mad authoritarians, the real question is how many us are they going to pull down with them in the crash?
They are not asleep at the wheel, they are in on it. Wake up! You've got to put the puzzle together. 😎🇺🇲👍🌟💯

If you go to costco , Walmart and etc, you will see majority of the products are produced from vietnam. The next frontier will be North Africa, China is already moving some manufacturing plants to Ethiopia, and etc as it develops the Silk Road via railroads.

Duplication of manufacturing facilities by Chinese companies has been going on for years. Tires were one of the earlier products hit by US punitive tariffs initially by Obama Administration back in 2009. The major Chinese tire manufacturers over the next few years moved significant production to Thailand to focus on the US Market. In 2019 to a lesser extent tariffs were again placed on Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan and South Korea tires. It's like a game of whack a mole!
Wait till the nut jobs realize those tires and plastics on their EVs are made from petroleum byproducts. 😆

Will the average US citizen be able to afford goods that are manufactured in the US? I really doubt it. Out-of-season Nike shoes are around what... 70-80 dollars a pair.? I can't imagine the price level if they were manufactured in the US. The same could be said about TV., refrigerators, cell phones..etc. you name it. Do you think those factories made a fortune? Nah, Nike is the one profiting big time. It squeezed manufacturing costs to the lowest level possible for manufacturers, and that's why their manufacturing suppliers keep moving their production sites from country to country in search of cheaper labor. Also, The last time I saw a report, TSMC's manufacturing cost increased 4 times when their chips are manufactured in Arizona. So good luck to those who aren't well-off....because very likely you are saying goodbye to all the advanced technology available in every aspect of your life in not too distant future. Will you be able to survive without those? Sure you can, but the quality of life will deteriorate and income disparity will grow and enlarge...who are you going to blame by then? It will be funny when long before the combustion engine ban begins, the unforeseen nightmares with EVs and power grids will explode, literally and figuratively.
If all the subsidizing fossil fuel money was put to developing better batteries or other means of energy storage, renewable energy and EV's would be more than viable both economically and environmentally. They already are to a greater degree than fossil fuel. That is one of the ways western nations and USA have held themselves back. There would be a lot less need to trade with Russia for energy in Europe. There are energy storage batteries now that would be suitable for grid storage and not lithium type. They have lower energy density but that is not needed for non transport purposes. There are wind turbines near where I live and I have never seen them stopped rotating because of low wind. Two days ago I was out tramping. There was only a very slight breeze but they were still rotating at a speed that seemed not slower than any other time.

I can confirm that wind turbines are very noisy. I go to Yalova for summer, which is very close to İstanbul, and there are wind turbines. I believe the closest one is approximately 2 kilometers from where I live. During the day, it is fine, but when around 10 PM, you can hear their sounds. It feels like the whole town lives in an air duct.

The reason no one wants the job is the pay. We put a fence up the cost has doubled. Groceries and utilities have doubled.the pay has not doubled ever. If there is a raise it is 50 cents or a dollar. So we are basically working for half of what is offered for a salary.

I can confirm this on one front, I have customers that are from Cambodia and they are telling me that almost all of the new infrastructure is being built there by the Chinese. Not only for businesses but malls and apartments/condos for living and shopping.

In a small town that 15 years ago only had a few buildings now stand 100s of half completed 20+ story buildings with rusty cranes swinging in the breeze none with any occupants. Locals were thrilled when land that, before chinese arrival, was worth a few thousand dollars, and affordable was bought by one of the hoards of Chinese nationals that showed up with sacks U.S. $100 bills smuggled out of China much of it organized crime money that brought drugs, prostitution, gambling, scams and fraud etc. to a traditional culture. The money spent locals now lament the day when the Chinese wete given permission to buy land in Cambodia by the Chinese puppet dictator in charge for 40+ years.

You didn't lose 4 million in holdings, you lost 4 million of other peoples money as debt and walked away with just a bankruptcy while all your debt owners got F'd.

We do not mine lithium in force in the US because those mines leave a massive permanent scar on the land. Lithium is also in way less abundance than oil, & not renewable. Mine it all, it’s gone forever, verses oil, which is renewable.
