I should have waited for these I got the Corsair Void Pro Wireless back in May because my ORIGINAL Void's which I had for almost 2 years were dying on me though they still worked occasionally they disconnected from my PC and the mic had cracked off the headset though the mic still worked as the wire inside was still connected and I had taped it to the headset with a small plastic piece I took to help secure it NOW these come out I didn't care too much about the Corsair Virtuoso's even though I wanted a premium wireless gaming headset as I like the diamond shape on the earcups of the Corsair Void series as they fit my ears well and according to some reviews though the Virtuoso's sound great and have possibly the best mic on a wireless headset the shape and size of the earcups were a problem for some of the reviewers and paying twice as much for a better mic to sacrifice on comfort is not justifiable for me

What's the difference between this one and the Void Pro RGB I bought a year ago? I'm not interested in getting the new one since I'm completely fine with mine.

Elite has top frequency 30k, while Pro has 20k. Elite has 116dB/mW pressure, while pro has 107dB/mW I am not expert on these numbers, but as I understand the elite is bit louder (not sure if that 9dB/mW difference is even noticeable) and Elite can produce sounds that pro can't as pro's top frequency is limited to 20k, while Elite is 30k. I read that average human can hear between 20-20 000hz. So can you even hear the sound that Elite can produce, idk.

Im a die hard corsair fan buck fuck these headphones. There should be 1 flagship headset with usb/wireless and surround options built in at a single price. Along with the mic being detachable while maintaining the gimmicky flip up to mute. This video gave no critical information about the products like if their headset still run in 16bit audio which is pretty important. If you have a void or any other wireless hold till they die. Ive had 1st gen a40, a50, void pro, krakens. The only positive is they dropped rgb from the name as the feature was near nothing on the void line and shoulde been included anyways for how cheap it is.

And I'm aware there are hardly any true surround sound headsets... which I don't understand, as its a huge advantage when it comes to directional sound accuracy when its done right. @@anab0lic It's really hard to fit 7 speakers inside a headset (14 in total), that is why it's not done so much yet, it may also worsen the quality due to lower volume if the speakers are weak (etc if they don't want to put too much money into research). Since they talk about their new fancy speakers It's pretty safe to say that it is what's in all of them.

Some people prefer the up and down mics. I personally can't stand the plug in mic like the Virtuoso has. Being able to push the mic up to mute is one of my favorite features.

A problem I have with removable mic's are that they can be EASILY lost especially if the headset is designed to be a single headset for all your needs such as having 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth support for your portable devices such as your phone as you will most likely not have your mic connected whilst out in public listening to music or whatever

I've never had a pair of VOIDs or their previous H2000 (I think that's the name?) break. They're made of metal. I used to break headsets all the time but never have I replaced any of my Corsair headsets since they're metal. I've even straight up sat on mine on accident and they were completely fine. The only issues I've ever had with them is the batteries end up sucking, but corsair RMAs them immediately without hassle.

The lack of external sound blocking is my biggest problem. When you game in the same room as someone watching TV you might just as well use your speakers, the others can hear everything you do and it won't block out the TV at all. (not porn safe!!!) That is honestly my biggest problem with them as i have lots of unwanted noises around me all day and if the headset isn't blocking the outside noise i'll do the opposite and just overpower all that noise with my 5.1 Surround System, see if i care outside world!

Im a die hard corsair fan buck fuck these headphones. There should be 1 flagship headset with usb/wireless and surround options built in at a single price. Along with the mic being detachable while maintaining the gimmicky flip up to mute. This video gave no critical information about the products like if their headset still run in 16bit audio which is pretty important. If you have a void or any other wireless hold till they die. Ive had 1st gen a40, a50, void pro, krakens. The only positive is they dropped rgb from the name as the feature was near nothing on the void line and shoulde been included anyways for how cheap it is.
RGB's made me infertile.
The radiation from some of the more powerful wireless headsets and mobile phones has that power to do that..

And I'm aware there are hardly any true surround sound headsets... which I don't understand, as its a huge advantage when it comes to directional sound accuracy when its done right. You would think that these company's would want that as a unique selling point.
@@anab0lic It's really hard to fit 7 speakers inside a headset (14 in total), that is why it's not done so much yet, it may also worsen the quality due to lower volume if the speakers are weak (etc if they don't want to put too much money into research). Since they talk about their new fancy speakers It's pretty safe to say that it is what's in all of them.

Some people prefer the up and down mics. I personally can't stand the plug in mic like the Virtuoso has. Being able to push the mic up to mute is one of my favorite features.
A problem I have with removable mic's are that they can be EASILY lost especially if the headset is designed to be a single headset for all your needs such as having 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth support for your portable devices such as your phone as you will most likely not have your mic connected whilst out in public listening to music or whatever
@@FoxxyRin with the money corsair makes i promise they can engineer a headset that has both options in one plugin jack and best of all if your mic dies you pop in a new one or a 3rd party. Theyre just being cheap.
And yet, I'll wager, that like every other headset they break within a year, right at the pivotal stress point between the band and the earmuffs...
I've never had a pair of VOIDs or their previous H2000 (I think that's the name?) break. They're made of metal. I used to break headsets all the time but never have I replaced any of my Corsair headsets since they're metal. I've even straight up sat on mine on accident and they were completely fine. The only issues I've ever had with them is the batteries end up sucking, but corsair RMAs them immediately without hassle.
@@FoxxyRin well that's good. Just did a cursory search and apparently, in the past, these models have had issues with the mic breaking off - hopefully they've addressed that.

There's been improvements each time, from durability to better sound drivers. There was a huge difference in mic quality between the original and pro.

These are really bad headphones. Lack of external sound blocking, poor microphone, weakly seat on the head.
The lack of innovation in the headbands over the last decade is severely disappointing.
they have 0 desire to upgrade the battery or onboard electronics which is sad.
The lack of external sound blocking is my biggest problem. When you game in the same room as someone watching TV you might just as well use your speakers, the others can hear everything you do and it won't block out the TV at all. (not porn safe!!!) That is honestly my biggest problem with them as i have lots of unwanted noises around me all day and if the headset isn't blocking the outside noise i'll do the opposite and just overpower all that noise with my 5.1 Surround System, see if i care outside world!
Clearly trying to get rid of the Void series that obviously didn't sell well by rebranding them. Please hurry up and bring the Virtuoso range so we can have a proper headset from Corsair again. While your there, please delete QUE software from existence. Thanks

I don't have 1 problem whatsoever with ICUE. Still working a little more than a yr now.
@@jpunisher9282 same here. Only issue I had was when windows 10 updated recently and it started acting funny. I took five whole minutes to reinstall and it was 100% perfect again.
