Just when I thought there was no finer cat on the world than Nanny, you show us this stunningly beautiful creature named Panther. Wow is the best description I can muster at first. He is just gorgeous and has a wonderful demeanor. Certainly the environment that they live in must be conducive to their pleasure, being able to roam and enjoy the outdoors like they need to. Watched this with my 20 year old black cat who is sick and ailing. She has the same white markings on her chest and underarms. I remember when she was shiney and frisky like that. Her name is Gabby because she talks a lot. Black cats are the best.

I must agree! I didn't realize how empathetic cats can be until I was a young man. My girlfriend at the time was crying, my roommate's cat jumped in her lap , meowed at her ,and gently touched her face with his paw. From that point on , I've always had feline companions!

There is something special about black cats I think. I try to know what it is. The one I had that went to work with me years ago etc and was stolen left a big hole in my heart. I will be so glad to get him back in Heaven. I love all cats tho.

I could not stand to leave the kitties to fend for themselves. They would have not done very well . Perfect timing to save them . That was back in 2010. I have the mama cat and her name is Moo.
The thing I like most about a reliable watch-cat is that he's quiet. Dogs go on & on barking, but a cat alerts without disturbing the peace. Panther, I feel like my blood pressure dropped by 15 just watching you chill out...purrrrrrrrrr🐾but the sprinting IS A LOT OF FUN, YA

I think the vet was right when she told me black cats are generally the friendliest and easy going cats of all....we had a black cat run into our home and join a pack of three dogs like it was the most natural thing in the world. Beautiful cat, thank you for sharing!
Did he or she end up running the pack? With cats and dogs living together, often the cat ends up being Alpha and rules the pack.

@@thepeacefulpack that's usually how it works. Before my 17 year old black and white longhaired cat Emma passed away, she let my two male kittens at the time, know real fast who ran the house. They are 6 now and she passed away earlier this month, they are still lost without her. The one male, Jerry who she took under her paws and was her apprentice has taken on her role as leader.

We have two just like your Panther, brothers that we adopted from Calgary Humane society about 1.5 years ago. They had been left at the side of the road, 4 of them, we took two, they're very fond of each other. They are highly intelligent. We knit, and Yuri has figured out how to with his teeth, quickly sever the wool you're knitting with, just the once slice close to where the knitting is taking place, so then you have to reconnect it. He also gathers up balls of wool and places them in a basket for himself. He's aware of whatever project you're working on - he's constantly carrying things around the house. He found, somehow, a piece of ancient knitting I had done as a child, that I couldn't even find - and brought it upstairs from the basement. He also raises his back hackles all along his spine, like a dog, fairly frequently, when he's interested in something, or alarmed. The tails are amazing, like another limb that they use to express affection, they're very affectionate, very tactile, very protective. We named them Boris and Yuri. Boris caught and killed a mouse in the house at 4 months of age, and has been looking for more ever since. Can't let them outdoors, because Calgary cat bylaw, and we have cat-hating neighbours, but we do take them out on a leash and harness. Shame, because they are born to live outside and guard a house and barn, but I can't take the chance. Of course, they have discovered the cat trick of pushing over glasses of water off the table .... great fun.

Reminds me very much of my black cat Mr Felix. He would jump up on the hood of my car when I pulled in the driveway to welcome me home and he liked being picked up. He was a cool cat. RIP Mr Felix 2008 - 2019. Don't take a single day for granted.

Panther's Friend, I had a precious, smart, well-mannered, female black cat, JoAnnie. I found her in a parking lot after after someone tried to drown her in motor oil and left her to die. She fit in the palm of my hand. She had no hair so I didn't know what she would be. I carefully cleaned her up and fed her with a dropper, even overnight, because she didn't know how to eat on her own yet. Her hair came in a glossy black and she enjoyed being pampered (and I enjoyed doing it) until she passed away at 17 years old. So I've often wondered about Panther. But when I saw the video picture and title, I was so sad because I thought he passed away and it was a tribute to him. But because it's one of your videos, I quickly calmed down and enjoyed every second of it. You and your talented friend who also helps to film (thank you mystery person!) have no idea what a comfort your videos are to us. You, your fur-friends, and your outdoors, are beautiful.

Panther is a beautiful cat. All of the cats are alert and watchful. Perhaps that's because there are predators in that paradise. They have a wonderful life and we can see they receive a lot of love.

We adopted a black cat about 6 weeks ago and he's the most gentle and friendly cat you could ever want but had spent about a year at the shelter before we came along.

Friso Verbeek - He’s not entirely alone. His wife holds the camera for some of those clips. But, I think you’re essentially right - most of his companions are wonderful animals. He even has a bear (Daisy) that visits pretty regularly. I wouldn’t be surprised if Daisy joins his extended family eventually.

OmG, Panther let me remember my black cat "Tapsi".... She is gone into the cat-sky 2017 with 16 Years and I miss her till today! She has also green eyes und a little bit white on the same place as Panther. She love also to love.... and was all the time on my side. Has her own chair in the garden behind me. Loves it to lay in the sun. - And Nanny is his mother.... than he must be also a special cat! Thank you so much for your wonderful videos! Give both a big kiss from me!
If he was any more relaxed, he'd be a LIQUID!! Our first family kitty was a black female who lived for 16 years. Our daughter wanted ONLY a black kitty. It took me 6 months to find one but it was worth it. She fell in love with a black male who lived across the street so black it was for our first family pet. Panther is gorgeous. Black fur that's shiny is spectacular and he certainly is.

I have a cat that is almost a twin of Panther, both in appearance and personality. I live in an apartment and this cat came to my patio daily. He was obviously not feral; I have a hunch his former owner/s moved and just put him outside. For a year I put out food & water for him. After he ate, he stayed on my patio for a good portion of the day. A neighbor said she saw him laying in front of my door. I have a 14 year old calico and was concerned about bringing another cat in, especially as this one is over twice the size/weight of my little Kali. I finally took him to the vet - he was not chipped so I took him in. Raj has now been with me and Kali for two years. After the first few months of Kali being extremely upset about the situation, they are now friends. I named him Raj because he looks so majestic...just like Panther. Thank you for sharing Panther with us.

Your videos of Nanny, Panther and nature are so calming after stressful days having to live in town. Both fur coats are so thick and plush they are warm and cuddlier than teddy 🐻 bears.
