  • One of my all time favorite players. He should be a hall of famer by now.

  • I remember Chuck and Kenny clowned him for taking 47 shots this game on TNT, completely ignoring the fact that he had 51 and 26 on above 50% shooting.

    • Nah, as great as he was, Duncan and KG were different animals. Don’t believe me. Compared CWebb’s performances vs the Lakers in the 2002 WCF and Duncan and KG’s performances in the 2003 playoffs.

      @Theterminato2013@Theterminato2013 Жыл бұрын
    • @@Theterminato2013 Not sure what you mean. He averaged at least 26 pts 11 reb 6 ast per game versus the Lakers in that infamous '02 series. Duncan and KG faced the same but much less stellar version of that Lakers dynasty in '03. The Kings proved the year before that the Lakers were beatable in a series and the Spurs were just a bit lucky they didn't get the Kings in the WCF in '03 as a result of Webb's injury because it might have been a different story than facing the Mavs who the Kings OWNED in the playoffs when Webb was healthy each year! While Duncan and KG were both phenomenal, championships aside, I never believed either of them was ever that much better than Webber from a raw-ability standpoint. I watched every game Chris ever played since he started his first game at Michigan so I'm not just talking out of my ass here Lol They were both better defensively absolutely which gives them the edge overall but I'd take a healthy, young Webber over either of them any day on my starting 5 and that's not me knocking them by any means. Webber's talent level was just special. His attitude got the best of him many times and the two horrific injuries derailed him most of all in the end.

  • Too think they were enroute to a championship in 2002 and the organization + refs engineered the lakers win to ensure more views for the Lakers three-peat attempt... Webber and the kings would have gotten it..
