Enderal: Shards of Order THE MOST UNDERRATED RPG EVER!

Enderal: Shards of Order is a total overhaul for TES: Skyrim, and it is good enough to functionally be a standalone game. I would seriously consider this to be one of the best fantasy RPGs out there. On top of all this, it's free to download on Steam if you already have Skyrim.
Enderal is but one of four of SureAI's total overhauls, set in the world of Vyn. I plan to start regularly releasing reviews and other content about these amazing projects, so stay tuned for more!

  • Apologies for the sucky audio quality, and the fact that these are the lowest graphics settings. I'm kind of stuck in a place during the quarantine and my set-up isn't very good right now. It'll be a loooong while before I get to the point where the audio quality will be professional, but it should slowly get better over time. Also, please let me know what kind of content you folks would be interested in! Lore videos? Fan theories? Hidden secrets? Gameplay mechanics/build tutorials?

  • This is my top favorite game. I love it so much and honestly can't recommend it enough for others to try and play!!! Frustrating but once you get over it and you really pay attention its just a dream. Sometimes sweet, more so bittersweet. Tears and long deep thoughts were had when I played XD Makes me really feel like I am lucky to exist at the right time to be able to experience it.

  • Did you have fps issues with nehrim? I've been trying to play it with my decently powerful pc but I'm getting like 25-40 fps

    • I've had even lower honestly. It's not a hardware issue, I think Oblivion is capped at 2GB RAM or something like that, which causes Nehrim to lag a lot.

  • I think the problems with the voice acting are twofold. First, the script was written in German and then translated into English with varying degrees of skill. 3:15 is a typical example of a bad translation, as it happens. That is NOT good idiomatic English for any native speaker, let alone a small boy, and it would have taken an extremely good actor to make it sound natural. That actor is decent, and would have sounded good with a well-written line, but not in this case. I wonder if translations had to be adjusted to fit into the animation which would have been timed to fit the German script. (Which would maybe explain some of the awkwardness and weird cadences.) I've noticed Jespar's voice actor in particular often adjusts his dialogue to sound more natural. Second, I'm guessing most voice actors were volunteers recording in their own home studio setups with no hands-on direction. So you get characters from the same family with different accents, conlang expressions and names pronounced differently from character to character, etc. (That herald in Ark pronounces names differently from everyone else, for instance.) Sometimes even ordinary English words are mispronounced, which makes me think the actors weren't native English speakers regardless of how good their accents might be. And under the circumstances, retakes were probably out of the question most of the time.
