Yes over simplification here. Van Allen belt is down in thickness and still not stable. Also they are saying that the Atmosphere will save us give me a break. More sun burns more intense radiation . Not enough time to go through everything.

We are at 6 X Class solar flares now all Earth Facing. CMEs hitting our Magnetic fields which are weak. The Sun can take out our power grid for decades Hopefully not this time.

@@memesandfun1 I hope it will not be worse than that. We are not informed about this event here in France. I had to look up Noaa and Nasa for information. I have family with kidney failure issues who depend on the grid...

It’s happened before will be fine, but you know one day that fireball in the sky is going to become a red giant and earth and everything you know, and ever heard of will be gone
