  • Stan Lee was one of those guys who seemed immortal, like he would always be here. He was an inspiration to me as a comic book collector and a small press comic book illustrator, writer and publisher. What a legend and a legacy. It'll never be 'buff said. Stan lives on in his characters and in our hearts. Excelsior, Mr. Lee.

  • Stan Lee is so humble. He says he doesn’t care what people will remember him for but the man has created superheroes that has touched every kid’s heart literally around the world. The man left a legacy that very few could ever accomplish.

    @bluedreamkush2392@bluedreamkush23925 жыл бұрын
    • The truth is that the Marvel universe wouldn't exist without him, but if there was something Stan wasn't - this was by his design - was humble. He knew how to humble brag about creating everything, to the disappointment of those of us who know that others were way more involved in the creation of the MU than he let on with his casual crediting of others. Namely, Jack Kirby. Marvel, since Captain America (which Stan had nothing to do with), was the house that Jack built. And Ditko was another master who contributed quite a bit, Stan failed them in crediting them fully, as he should have. But, I still have nothing but love for Stan. Without his vision, his writing chops (linguistically), and his willingness to be the best pitchman in comic book history, Marvel would have never been what it became, without question. So here's to Stan, but also to all of the creators who did much more than they were credited for who had a large role in Stan's silver age success.

  • Stan Lee has been an inspiration to me. From making characters with Steve Ditko such as Spiderman. Having depth to the characters he made and having them feel like real people. He made characters with complex story archs and having life lessons about responsibility, growing up, being different, and etc. He really did change the comic book industry but it sad now to see Marvel Comics decline in quality for a lot of the Marvel characters' comic book series. I thank you for doing this. Thank you God for having him live on this earth. Without Stan Lee I wouldn't of gotten into comic books and I wouldn't of started to write my own comic book universe which hopefully will have an impact. Thank you again for your work after all these years and excelsior.
