people making fun of skinner letting in 2 goals on 2 shots as if one of them wasnt an absolute piss missile no look shot through a screen even as an oilers fan that was the best goal of the game "browns is my favorite but you gotta recognize the shot" and then skinner locked it down and got a .923 making 25 straight saves multiple of them being robberies he robbed ovie like 3 times total skinner should be recognized as a legit number 1 goalie hes not a tandem peice anymore and now with calvin pickard and olivier rodrigue getting good we have a semi deep goalie pool " campbell deserves another shot but not this year.

I don’t know what’s more embarrassing: one save in 18 minutes, or only three shots. They weren’t bad goals though so I can’t complain, and he didn’t let any more in which is what we needed

Skinner is lucky that Ovi is old and slow these days. That shot from Ovi is going in 100% of the time back in the day. Still gotta give skinner credit for saving it tho.

Ovi shot it into skinner. The puck bobbled giving skinner a second of time. Not even sure that puck would go into the net if it never hit skinner. The full play happened because skinner over played the far post to start with, he created a empty net. So many of you fail to see that part?? He was lucky, not great.

Decent save, but way overhyped in my opinion. If that puck wasn't bouncing there's no way Ovi misses that.

- You need to look at it from a goalies perspective. Whether it bounces or not, tracking the puck at that speed is so hard, and getting on your feet at that very moment is very tough. Take Adin Hill's playoff save last year, The puck wobbled, which gave the Panther a little delay when trying to score. Yet, it's still an incredible save because adin hill was able to track it. Same goes for Skinner here.

- Honestly, I don't understand the big deal about getting Gretzkys Goal record. Guy was a playmaker. Lol Guy had almost 2000 assists. I mean I get if he gets another 51 goals before he retires he'll have the all time goals record. But Gretzky was already retired at Ovechkins age and getting the goal record still wouldn't but him anywhere on Gretzkys level. Gretzky retired with 2857 points. Overchkin has 1534. He doesn't even have as many points as Gretzky had assists. Lol
