that was a fantastic goal call “WHO IS IT? CAN IT BE? IT IS!!”
So happy Jack called this game
THE PHENOMENAL ONE IS HERE
“Oilers running Washington right outta the building!!” 😆
Jack banging your mom in back of Camaro
Jack is the best. I have so much love for this guy. It is a tragedy that he isn't allowed to call playoffs for the Oilers.
Kane did an interview at the start of the game and he said he would try to get him one. That's pretty cool.
This crowd reaction will be remembered for a life time
Man it’s one in a million that it took him this long to get one, he’s his several posts, goalies have robbed him, he had one called back. Bout time he finally gets one to go in
That’s exactly why the reaction was the way it was, the players know he should have way more goals, they know he’s deserved it, he’s worked his ass off without doing the whoa is me pout and not giving 100% every game, and that takes character and the fans know it to!! And the fact that he’s never stopped playing hard despite the bad luck!! That’s one hell of a hard fought goal and everyone appreciated it for what it was. Why Oilers fans are the best in the league cause they are so well educated and knowledgeable in the game and team that they can pick up right away why that goal was so special!!
Can’t lie, I teared up a little during that standing ovation
Let's go bro!
Why is he a club legend or something (I’m new to hockey)
@MC-uv7on No, this is his first season with the team. This was also his first season back after a lengthy injury. He was struggling to produce all season so everybody was happy he finally scored a goal.
Me too!
@@MC-uv7on 72 games and 80 shots since his last NHL goal.
Brown's reaction, the team's response, and the fans' lengthy ovation were absolutely beautiful! It's this kind of thing that makes me proud to be a lifelong Oilers fan. It's not just Gretzky, or McDavid, or the 5 cups in 7 years back when I was a kid. It's the love. The kind that takes guys like Kane and Perry and turns their careers, and their lives around. ❤
And Kassain and Craig McTavish and the list goes on. Beaut of a moment
He worked hard for it. Earned, not given. Brown may not justify his bonus, but he`s giving it all and ppl honor his work ethic. Great to see, happy for him!
genuinely happy for the guy
Theseare the guys who win you cups. THey grind it out night after night never complaining and just doing whatever the coach asls of them. No ego, not afraid to put their bodies on the line. Connor Brown is a one cog in the wheel of a journey to the holy grail.
Yep. Don’t need to score goals to be a hard-working player that does a lot for the team.
You can tell how happy kane is for brown too! Whole team was and the crowd. Love it.
Kane called it before the game on TNT too he wanted to set him up
Not an Oilers fan so I watched this video with one question on my mind? Who the hell is Connor Brown? I had to look it up to figure out how a 1-goal scorer could generate such buzz. Now I know. Very cool, Edmonton fans.
He’s had very bad luck. But he’s a dog out there. Great on penalty kill too
@@FleetTech97yep solid all around that's why he was never sent down
That smile on his face when he realized it went in is my favorite highlight of the year by a mile 00:52
Favorite highlight of the year by a s-mile*
Like a kid lol
Very entertaining. Bread and circuses for the people. 😮
@@johntrue7113 It's a lot better, as bread and circuses go, than what's coming out of Hollywood these days. This is real, an authentic moment.
Yeah sure, It’s all just entertainment bu$iness. Keeps them occupied. 😏
As a Sens fan I'm very happy for Connor Brown, he's a heart and soul player and nice to see him getting some love from the Oilers fans.
I absolutely love Brown, I mean we bring in a guy to score goals and possibly be Mcdavids right hand guy. Instead we got a penalty killing machine, who has bought in to his role as a minute killer and shutdown line. Sure you heard his name all year about not scoring, but it was always from a place of hope. He has been way more then we could have asked for, just in a way we never knew we would get. He is going to be worth every penny in the playoffs, when we need to fend off a lead that our top stars gave us. There are 2 sides to hockey offence and defense, the oilers have had 1 of those for years. We are finally seeing how important the other side can be, Brown is a huge part of that. I literally leapt outta my chair when he scored, it was so well deserved after how defensively sound he has been all year. Hope he can get a couple more before seasons end, but thank you for sacrificing goals for team needs.
Not gonna lie, that was more wholesome than I could've imagined. Well done, Edmonton!
The ovation when they announced the goal also followed with a Connor Brown chant through the building. Awesome moment.
CLASSY AS HELL GOOD FOR BROWNIE
The way the crowd cheered for Connor Brown was nothing but wholesome. Such a great moment. He was smiling all over. Great stuff.
Very cool moment. Edmonton fans get it!
Shout out to the fans for recognizing the hard work that Connor Brown has put in for the team! And Jack with yet another phenomenal call on the goal!
Gotta appreciate the Alberta fans!! They love their Hockey and this represents Canada right here Folks!!! lets fkn go
Comparing us to flamers is a bit far ;p
@@josh.280 how does it not ?
This warms my hockey heart. Loved having Brown on the Leafs, glad he's so loved in Oil city.
dont see this anywhere else in the league.
Yeah, because nowhere else in the league will you find an incompetent player like Brown who cant score. If Teams had a five lines, he'd be on the fifth one.
@Sempiternalautumn lol, I'd like to see you score a goal after tearing your ACL. He was a good top 6 forward pre Injury.
@@Sempiternalautumnyes yes yes. We see you looked at his basic stat line and came to a conclusion. Good for you
@@Sempiternalautumn Really? He is not any of that. It's a team and he is part of it. Any Oiler would look you in the eyes and tell you that.
He's had a tough go of it offensively this year, but he's a reliable defensive player and knows how to make the right plays. He brings other things to the table that still make him a useful 4th line player
This is a moment that's enough to make a grown man cry
Loved Brownie in TO. Good to see Edmonton taking good care of him.
Amazing, I love Jack and Louie. Super happy for Brown to finally get one into the back of the net.
I was at the game and my ears were ringing for 20 minutes after. That place went crazy.
Yep it was like the playoffs lol
I mean honestly just look at the look on his face. Sheer delight, well done my guy!
That goal resembles one of the most comfortable end results, in a long time...how relaxing and exhilerating too boot! :D
The smile as the goal celebration is literally everything 😂💙🧡
Sooooo happy for Connor brown!! 💙🧡💙🧡💙🧡!! Love the chant for him afterwards also!!
Never a doubt, just patience and support, shown by the crowd celebration which easily tops some of the OT playoff victories.
Great work guys, and a well deserved goal for Connor Brown
One of the unsung heroes on the team!! Congrats!
Brown deserves it! A standing ovation
Being there... it was absolutely electric. I loved every moment of that. I have never heard one player get such a reaction from just one (ultimately for the game inconsequential) goal. Incredible stuff
My voice still hurts from the cheering
Hes going to remember that crowd reaction for the rest of his life. Huge props to the fans that night
I literally shed a tear of joy when watching this.
that was about as heartwarming as it gets. Congrats Connor!
For those who don’t understand, it was a long going joke that Connor Brown can’t score. Finally he does after 54 games!!! Thus causing a standing ovation!
Such a happy moment for Connor Brown! 👍❤️🥅🏒🥋🇨🇦He sure is a digger and fighter making lots of great plays helping teammates score.Oilers Nation!✨👍☕️☕️☕️ EDMONTON 🐅 The Avalanche game this Saturday will rock!
That right there is a TEAM. I am so jumping on this bandwagon, hope there’s room.
Always room, welcome to Oil country 😊
@@dana102083 thanks, looks like fun.
My dad is an oilers fan and he rarely texts during games but he had to tell me about Brown
Watch Brown go on a heater after getting that off his back... Edit - and that he doesn't go off on a ridiculous celly... he just "yeah, I do that all the time."
Haha. I think he was just expecting it to be called back.
@@pyRoy6 I was expecting it to be called back...but so glad it wasn't. Congrats Connor -- you've worked hard for the Oil and you deserve this goal!
its been so long he's forgotten how to celly.... Great smile though like I can't effing believe it.
anyone else watch this like 50 times? lol
Just seeing him admire his puck in the net was priceless. Like a Canadian Heritage moment
This brings tears to my eyes. My sacrifice - Creed
I was there last night. This video doesn't do it justice... it was such a magical moment.
Very happy for Connor.!! 🎉😅 after all hard fought battles..❤️
Jack Michaels is a real good commentator he should really be calling all the western NHL games for sportsnet including the playoffs. Him and Louie DeBrusk have real good chemistry.
I got kinda ‘high’ from watching this. Joy! 😂
This is just a taste of what hockey in Edmonton is like In the playoffs. Mid April can’t come quick enough.
Means the crowd loves him! More to come Brown!💙🧡
No celly just pure smiles what a class act
First Goal in two Seasons. Great Crowd reaction
He's been a beast on the wall. He has been working hard. Glad he finally got one to go.
I got chills and goosebumps. So happy for Connor! We love our Oilers!
Jets fan but this gave me the chills, great to see it.
honestly, that guy had to come back from alot how can you not feel for that man. tells you who he is how his teammates reacted.
he was my favorite player on the Leafs, angry when he was traded, got his rookie card, ex Marlie
He was just purposely waiting to do it against his old team
We got you Connor ... Light the lamp in the playoffs will be our welcome
This! This is the stuff that makes me love hockey! I'm not an Oilers fan but that was awesome to see!
A fan from the Erie Otter days, this was good to see.
Can someone pls explain who he is and why the crowd and bench are so happy for him? What's his story? I just had chills watching this
He hadn’t scored for 54 games or something crazy like that but has worked hard, had some bad luck (posts , goals called back, etc etc), and finally got one to go. No matter who you’re a fan of you can appreciate a moment like this. And I’ll tell you . I am NOT a fan of Edmonton lol. But really cool for the guy.
just as loud as a OT playoff goal 😂 well done Brown, here's to many more!
That moment just brought the whole team closer. The reaction from his teammates says it all.
I am a HUGE Connor Brown fan!!!!!
You can't hate the Oilers, you just can't
yea you can. You can be from Calgary.
Brown will remember edmonton fans forever now, be tell his grand kids about this moment
This is great, exactly how fans should support their players when they’ve been in a bit of a slump
This puts a smile on my face.
I’m sobbing
I keep comin back and watching it again and again, warms the soul :D
SO HAPPY FOR CONNOR BROWN! LET’S GO OILERS!
Thats our little body in a space, way to go champ!
This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen
Congrats C.Brown🎉🎉🎉
literally had chills hearing it last night in the arena!!
Solid player no goals or not penalty kill, and Louie was right I can't remember even one play he cost the team a goal. Right on man!! I hope it opens the flood gates for him he is a good guy. I can't wait until he scores a big goal in the playoffs
Mtl canadiens fan, but here I am hopping on the Connor McBandwagon
Theres a few connors to like ha ha
Hell yeah!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS I LITERALLY WAS HOPING BROWN WOULD SCORE THIS GAME YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES
I haven't seen a look of relief on a player like that since Anthony Young on the Mets finally got a win after a 26 game losing streak.
Welcome to Edmonton, Connor Brown.
I just fell to my knees in a Canadian Tire
best comment 👍
Wow!!!!!! He did it!!! Brown finally did it!
As amazing a moment like this is, Jack makes it magical.

Woke up my parents cheering for brown, no regrets😂

..even though he said we weren't cuerently and wasnt anythi g to do with hockey (was for the big tornado community during that time)... I will.forgive it. WE ARE THE CITY OF CHAMPIONS!!
Brown: 1 Ovechkin: 0 This is Edmonton vs. Washington.

😂😂 gotta love the Albertans
Crowd celly of the year.
As a sens fan, he was one of my favourite players when he played for Ottawa. He could play any situation. I was so sad to see him go when he went to the caps… I didn’t realize he was having a tough year, but I love seeing that smile on his face.
Was there. Insane fun. Everyone smiling.
You can't deny us!
What a moment! Congrats to Connor Brown
Not the only reason im an oiler fan but the fans are a big reason why!!
