  • We have had our Grenadier for a couple of months - 8000 K... and we love it! It's quiet and great fun. It is a top-class car.

  • Grenadiers are selling very well here in Idaho. We are a rugged state with winters that can be very rough and a tough built 4x4 is worth its weight in gold. Things I instantly notice? The interior controls are all easy to use with space for gloved fingers and no reliance on silly touch sensitive sensors that won’t detect the touch of a gloved finger. A BMW straight 6 that is rugged, reliable and easy to work with. An interior with lots of room for kids, dogs and hunting/fishing buddies. Built for off-road use with external electric outlets. Room for larger wheels/tires. Underneath the truck everything looks purpose built for durability. Maintenance friendly design with room to work.

I definitely can’t wait to get engaged in some serious diverse terrain. Yes, definitely agree with the frame comment. It’s the type of frame that literally if somehow it was damaged or broken, it’s a cut and weld repair for sure.thank you for sharing your thoughts and insight. • Take a breather :) Felt like you were being rushed... :) Great overall coverage - you hit all the main points, I think most will get the feel/vibe through this review of what this rig is all about? Is it worth the $90k? time will show - I'm sure many will buy considering uniqueness and a front axle setup which is proper for off-road style use. It wasnt a diesel, right? Sounded a bit that way

    • lol on take a breath, no kidding, the day before, I more or less lost my voice and it was somewhat a struggle to talk hahah, NO Excuses though. It was gas, apparently the diesel is not available in the US yet, maybe in time. I believe there is an initial build of around 7k vehicles designated for the US market. I will say this, the frame and chassis are solid. I’d trust that anywhere at anytime. I also like how it’s not over refined in electronics and that the engine bay is user friendly and adaptable to inspection and repair as needed. Thanks for the comments and maybe we will catch in Pacific City one of these days.

  • This appears to be a well thought out vehicle. I like it - a solid engine and drive train (no turbos, thank God) and a big back storage area. Classic look too. Overall, I like the interior layout and the thought put into adding accessories on the exterior. It seems to have a nice combination of off road capabilities and long haul freeway driving. I think a big issue will be service in The US. If that happens and future reliability ratings are very good, I would consider getting one.

  • Test drove one the other day, the one I looked at was priced at $77k at Rusnak in Pasadena, Ca. Loved the utility and pure toughness of the vehicle overall... HATED the "recirculating-ball hydraulic steering system." It's probably a badass system for overlanding and bouncing over rocks and logs, etc. but the steering action takes a lot of getting used to (feels unresponsive and doesn't right itself immediately after a turn) and could possibly cause a bit a fatigue on longer roadtrips just getting to the overland trails... If you live on massive acreage that is mostly dirt roads or you're a farmer/rancher that needs to trek long distance over your lands, this vehicle is thoroughly for you BUT the Ineos Grenedier is definitely not designed to be a daily city driver.

When we got to Oregon, “Wilsonville”, the dealer showed the same rig at 83k, now you just shared a price of 73k. It will interesting to find out where all the variances of 20 K plus are coming from. I could see how someone would call it the poor man’s G wagon. But I think at this point if I was looking for a vehicle that is truly going to be capableoff the road I’m gonna lean towards the Grenadier. I’ve looked underneath the chassis of some of the G wagons in the past, as well as the refinements inside, and don’t get me wrong. It has a lot of luxury to it but I think we’re talking two different animals here when it’s time to get out there and get in the terrain. • If you go to the online build configuration you can see the base model and other packages. The great thing is every feature is a la carte. You are not locked into getting say the Fieldmaster package to get Safari Windows, like so many other manufacturers trim packages with stuff you may not want. You can prioritize what options you want based on your budget. Also the great thing is how many factory features you can get like the Aux power system extra battery, external power hookups, winch, etc which on many vehicles is a lot of extra time and labor after purchasing to build up an over lander. I will be putting in my order before Summer. And my build will be on that $80k mark. I plan on having this a long time so making sure to get everything I want, rather than have buyers remorse after the fact that I didn't get lockers or that dead sexy red contrast frame. The INEOS dealer outside Boston is still buying built out, so no lot full of pre-built Grenediers yet.... Cheers!

    • Hello, thanks for checking out our channel and sharing some thoughts. I’ve heard thoughts on the pricing going both ways. While some folks consider it steep, many others are feeling it right in the market. I’m really curious what the comparison for vehicle capability, build out and reference are triggering “over priced concern”. Here is my thought so far, could change but just a thought. If I build out a Jeep Rubicon, as close as possible, low end MSRP on the Jeep 2024 WRANGLER RUBICON 4WD was $65,295 and comparable Jeep $93,935. Of course In strongly believe the Jeep is no comparison and the Grenadier overall is better built in many ways. Then there is the Defender which was hovering around $84,500 and $116,000.00 and simple not a vehicle I would go with and Lastly the G-Wagon, which can push $139k -$250k and Instill don’t believe it will be a match let alone comparing maintenance. It’s just an interesting new topic to have. I’ve been encouraging others to do a lot of research when doing the comparisons. I still feel that the INEOS is the dominant vehicle in many respects. Things in the steering these are manageable with a simple add-on. it’s also proven itself in other countries. Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and opinion, and watching our channel. It’s been a great discussion. Let me know if you have any additional insider thoughts. I’d love learning as well.

    • Hello, Thank you for taking time to check out the video video. It’s funny, I don’t disagree that $93,000 just in general is a lot of money. But I started doing some research and trying to find a comparable vehicle, which bleed or not was not easy. Most people would like to consider the defender, the G wagon, or even the jeep, it comparable vehicle. But with all due respect to those vehicles, the defender is not a comparable vehicle maybe by price tag, but that’s about it the G wagon would not be able to do with this sink, and do straight out of the box, and by all means it’s much more Pricey. In respect to the jeep and I say I’m speaking of the Rubicon if you’ve tried to get an apples to apples vehicle out the door, believe it or not I was seeing these things at 90,000 $116,000.00 equipped. and no, I’m not joking, it’s insane. No, don’t get me wrong you see people build jeeps beyond believe, but again, I’m talking as close to apples to apples off the lot comparison, and this vehicle would destroy a jeep in the wild. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and share your thoughts. We plan on doing some videos on this in the near future as I’ve learned more about the vehicle, hope you’re having a great day and take care.

    • Quick question: was it that the thumb/push button would get stuck or jammed?

      @ekkonesters599@ekkonesters5993 ай бұрын
    • @@ekkonesters599 neither it was the annoyance of using the thumb to push in the button for the JK and older wranglers. If you injured one thumb then your left with the other good thumb vs all of your fingers for a handle. The jeep JL replaced the thumb button with a traditional handle.

  • I was considering buying this car and took it for a test drive. I learned more about it, read various feedback, and checked everything repeatedly. As a professional driver with relevant engineering degree (ICE) and extensive skills in both Europe and Australia, I’ve reached a verdict: this car is far from good. It’s overpriced and overhyped, a product of marketing rather than engineering excellence. I’m unsure of the target audience for this design. It’s probably not suitable for off-road enthusiasts or luxury car lovers. Perhaps it’s aimed at metrosexuals who don’t mind wasting money on something of little value.

  • Yeah..if you can buy a 1.9 tonne 62 inch vehicle with 27,000$ why spend 93,000$? A Mall crowler for light roads. Oh, before lift, 35’s, etc… 😂

  • Awful car, badly engineered. Just because you add all good ingredients doesn’t mean it’s going to be great. I’m waiting for the first KZheadr that services one of them and also wants to change the shock absorbers and springs. 🤣

    • Thanks for checking out our video. As we continue to explore and learn more about the INEOS, in becoming more intrigued by a few things especially the Power plant and transmission choice, which I’ll hopefully be able to elaborate more on soon. But in respect to your thoughts/position on changing the shocks and springs, I can’t really see where this becomes a concern? Its robust suspension, features separate coils and shocks, which offers a straightforward system that allows for easy replacement. It’s also a design that ensures reliability on challenging terrains, with minimal complications. In case of issues, the ability to quickly repair such things will be of ease. Also, the Eibach springs are one of the most respected spring manufacturers on the market. If you have time please elaborate on what makes the car awful in respect to engineering. Thanks and safe travels.

    • @@ekkonesters599 thanks for the reply, I mean I looked at quite a few at a dealership in Britain where I live and and there is no underbody protection unless you want to pay extra. I found the cabin area to be cramped. I was told by the salesman than the chassis is not galvanised as everyone was told in the early days but it’s just painted. When I asked the salesman how do you change the rear shocks as you have limited space he got a technician who told me, you have to undo the body to chassis mount bolts all of them from the rear but leave the front 2 attached at the engine so you can raise the body slightly to get access. Also there was a about 5 cables really close to the propshaft and exhaust that could become an issue off-road, I’m hoping it was just someone lazy at the factory not doing there job properly and not how it was intended. I took lots of pictures of all the flaws I found. Safe travels

  • Cheap, fake jewelry being sold at the price of a real diamond - that’s what this situation reminds me of. If you don’t agree with me, that’s your right, and only time will tell who is correct. I sympathize with those who were duped into buying this junk for large sums of money. They are left with three options: to remain silent, to falsely praise this substandard vehicle, or to admit that they were fooled into wasting their money.

  • I would sure recommend waiting to buy a couple of years to see what bugs/lemons/etc. come out. Software alone could easily stop working and where would you go to find a dealer? Remember the Humvee? Don't want to buy a vehicle and have the manufacturer go belly up. Let's see if INEOS is still around in 2028?

    • That is great advise as well. The company looks pretty solid and is been doing well in other countries so far. But as we all know anything in the automotive world can change at any given time. Here is what I found in respect to other parts of the worlds where the vehicle is being sold. Africa. Botswana. Morocco. Namibia. South Africa. Americas. Canada (English) Canada (Français) Asia Pacific. Australia. New Zealand. Europe. Austria. Belgium (Français) Belgium (Deutsch) Czech Republic. Denmark. ... Middle East. Bahrain. Kuwait. Oman. Qatar. Saudi Arabia. Lets home all these markets keep selling and the company grows.

  • I don't believe in miracles. I've tested this car, conducted my own research, and read numerous reviews from other owners. It's definitely not my choice. Maybe in 7-10 years, I'll consider this car again. But for now, it's a definite no. I could mention many more negatives, but let me share the story of another owner: kzhead.info/sun/hNeEeNdqnl-OnK8/bejne.htmlsi=A6yxBvmSA0M0MrfU There are countless individuals worldwide willing to spend extravagant sums on things that might not be worthwhile. Many are swayed by the so-called 'honest opinions' of experts in areas where expertise may be questionable. Others may not recognise that achievements in the automotive industry are the result of years, if not decades, of hard work and experience. I find it difficult to comprehend both perspectives.
