La vida y los excesos de Mercury no deberían perjudicar un excelente trabajo musical. Hay gente que debería dormir con los zapatos puestos porque sus pies apestan... ¡Demasiado «recorrido» baby!

      @mholmgren9343@mholmgren93435 жыл бұрын
    • You know, I have great respect for John for quitting. There's two sides to this: People who think Roger and Brian did right in continuing because it's "what Freddie would want" and because they both love being musicians so much. Then there's my side: Queen stopped being queen when Freddie died. And John recognized that. I have no problems with Roger and Brian continuing, but they should've done it under a different name. Them still using the queen name makes them seem like washed up rock stars who are trying to desperately cling to the last shred of shrine they had 30 years ago. Hats off to Deacon. It's important to know when to stop. May and Taylor could've gone out with a bang, but now they never will.

    @rumel02@rumel028 жыл бұрын
    • Well, we must be fair: you name singers and no bands. I doubt that for example Barbara Streisand, Liza Minelli or Aretha Franklin did have big knowledge about snare sounds. Even they came when music was finished and sang on it. The work for bands is different. I think that even in modern bands some singer gives a big interesting about drumsound.

    • rumel02 They don't. Those rnb artist job is to only sing and more times, the songs and lyrics are written and composed for them. They are showmen and music has now become much more of show business than passion for them. They are mostly the faces of muaic that most people follows. They attract people. They are just surrounded by real musicians and sampling producers in the studios. Lmao. People cknsider them music artist, I consider them as a fraud and poser as a music artist. Its nit about the type of genre they represent. Its whether they are true to their name and profeesion. I love rock and metal but i also respect Michael Jackson though he is a pop icon because evey aspect of their music wodm were all true. He composed those songs and yes he even sang them live and danced at the same time with all the energy which he himself also composed. RnB artist only job is to look pretty and si g the already composed songs and yet they cant sing properly or are caught lip syncing. smh...Im the same age as those enb fans yet i dont see the true value in those music and those so called artist.

    • You know, I mostly agree with you. Though i do think "they" I mean you probably hate(?), still have a place in music world. Probably not that big what they "deserve" and would not put them in history, but still, nowadays... I am not against like show business especially if it is with good feelings. Dunno really, tomorrow I might have a different feeling. I just try to give "everything" a chance, or, well, at least I try to :) Cheers...
