"Wow"
"Haha! What is Philadelphia?" "No need to rub it in!"
“It’s getting to be that kind of competition Isn’t it.”
Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter, and James Holzhauer's wide range of knowledge, is never to be underestimated, along with their senses of humor and the way they play JEOPARDY!.
Imagine the three of them on a trivia team at your local bar
@@Seethi_C That's kind of how James really got his start -- he would be on teams which couldn't keep up so he decided to fly solo.
If trivia ever become an Olympic sport, there 3 should be part of Team USA 🇺🇸.

Ken is a boss, I could listen to him tell stories for hours. Right now he has two wins, just need that third! Also 9:43, the way the host is listening, looks like he actually cares

I love this interview and the interviewer is really good too. Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings have a sense of humor.
Nice to see the love and comraderie between these two.My favourites
Ken is such a fun loving guy. Jeopardy GOAT has been great to watch this week.
Where’s James ?
Never EVER a doubt who was/is THE GOAT...Ken Jennings!!!
Oh, there was a doubt...it was NOT a slam dunk.
@@secondstring To you and ONLY you!
@@dibber43 - No Chris, to those who are intelligent and understand that the tournament was incredibly closely matched, to those that understand the game of Jeopardy. You would not understand.
@@secondstring Then...you woke up. Just as stupid and common senseless as before.
@@dibber43 - You really don't get it, do you? Here's a little help: Overall Metrics for GOAT Tournament: 1) Total correct responses - James-188 / Ken-179 Advantage - James-5% 2) Coryat Score - James-141,800 / Ken-146,000 Advantage - Ken-2% 3) Correct response % - Both 93% Tie 4) Daily Doubles - James 5/6 Ken 7/8 5) Final Jeopardy responses - Both 6/8 Does any of this help you? The truth is, these two are both incredibly talented and remarkably evenly matched, and this was proven by these results. Not surprising based on their performance prior to this match. Any of the four matches, including the one that James won, could have been won by the other contestant dependent on how the Daily Doubles fell. Ken not only got more of the Daily Doubles, but he got them at more opportune times in the match with more points/dollars to put on the line to sway the matches. It did NOT help that Rutter hit a disproportionate number of the DD's and took them off the board. That was the deciding factor. Ken admitted this himself in post-interviews. If the two of them played 20 matches, they very likely would come close to splitting them. I have never said that Jennings is not a worthy champion. I am a fan of his, and believe him to be a worthy victor. But these results and metrics PROVE that he and James are absolutely neck-and-neck, and anyone who says that Ken was "dominant" or "in another league" or, as in your case "never EVER a doubt" doesn't know what they're talking about.
These guys are really fun & funny. I'm enjoying the greatest of all time series because the contestants are making it fun. I always feel a little smarter if I get one question right lol! Teen jeopardy is more my game ha ha.
team James here!

He had a heckuva 19-year run, so this was definitely a surprise to me.
I mean, if he had to lose to anyone, 's gotta be James and/or Ken
@@khaitranngoc4176 Yes, no shame in losing to those two legends.
Well, Ken Jennings isn't your "average" human, ya know!!!😏 He's The GOAT!!!
"Hey, Brad's score is still on there."
Wonderful interview.. amazed how down to earth these Jeopardy "millionaires" are.
These 3 guys are amazing. I’m an avid Jeopardy fan, and I’m loving this tournament!
You should have seen the comments on the NYTimes site when James was bulldozing everyone on regular "J!" (preferred shorthand by the J! folks). There were a *lot* of people whinging because he wasn't playing the "right way" (to the point of "ruining" the game) by demanding one start at $100|$200 and progress downward, even to the point of demanding J! officially making it a rule. There were a lot of people timeshifting it but not watching it except to to the end to (hopefully) see him having lost that day. Aside from James throwing his final game (likely from boredom), he could have easily beaten Ken's streak and [just via regular J!]. Brad's total winnings. 1) Will James become the third captain for Team J!? 2) XFinity's schedule grid recently showed only games for T-W-R last week and T-W for this week, whereas it now shows T-W-R-F. The original schedule would have made is possible to know that Ken couldn't win tonight and if Brad were to win tonight, James couldn't win GOAT (but Ken would tomorrow). Now? Either they're trying to throw everyone off by saying there WILL be seven matches/nights (meaning Brad will win at least 2) or they're showing extra nights to throw us off and will air something else on the nights now indicating GOAT on ABC. 3) Thankfully, it's prime-time only so people can't go to TheJeopardyFan.com and FikkleFame.com to look up the J! (first round), both of the Double J!, and Final J! answers from 3:30pm airings -- as though they knew the answers when they watch it with others. 4) James, Ken, and Brad are not infallible (collectively); e.g. they didn't even ring in on "Good Day, Sir!" (the final portion of Willy Wonka's speech telling Charlie he doesn't win the big prize).
Ken may have won the most money but Jeopardy James has won the hearts of the most viewers. James brought a new excitement to the game that it never had before and may never have again.
Brad won the most money. Love them all!
James is exciting but not humourous like KEN and Brad.So happy Ken won.I cannot tell what happened to Brad because i was betting on him
No he he hasn't. James just happened to benefit from the age of social media, but Ken is the embodiment of Jeopardy. When people think of Jeopardy they think of both Alex Trebek and Ken. He's a household name.
Brad won the most money. James won the most money in ONE game and a bunch of other records. But Ken won the most games, and most games in a row in Jeopardy history!!! To me, that's the ultimate achievement in Jeopardy history!!! Ken Jennings IS THE GOAT!!!
Ken and Brad, very nice shoes and socks.
love this show
Great interview.Watched the whole thing. They are so pleasant and humble even to the guys asking questions. I love Jeopardy and this means a lot to me .Great interview again and appropriate questions.
Great interview!
This is Jeopardy's first show in primetime since Super Jeopardy! in 1990
The star on Super Jeopardy was Frank Spangenberg who had the 5-day winnings record then. He got eliminated in the first round.
And on the same network, I might add. The only difference is that it was an hour-long, there was no Saturday evenings for the show to be played in, there was no extra lectern for another pro player (unless if you wanted to include another version of IBM Watson), there are two games per match, and you had to win three matches to win the entire tournament. What did stay the same was no dollars but points- except for the DJ! round, where J! round values are just doubled, and not multiples of 2.5. So yeah, there were a few similarities to Super Jeopardy! back in 1990, but just doesn't play into today's Jeopardy! Greatest of All Time Tournament.
The interviewer really needs to learn how to use a mic!
It's hard for me to understand that in the year 2020, Yahoo couldn't come up with 3 little wireless mikes to pin on these guys. I mean, come on, who uses these big bulky hand-held mikes anymore??
@@frankcarlone5130. Yahoo's a liberal company and most liberals are gay. Holding big bulky microphones are like holding dicks to them.

I've never used a microphone, apparently. This host forgot how sound works, I guess.
I think it's pretty clear that they will all come back for rematch, especially, given Brad's unusually bad performance in this tournament, that left everybody baffled. Buzzer is one thing, bad luck in the Daily Doubles is another, but even still, he missed far more questions than ever before. It's as if it had been a competely different contestant.
These guys play Jeopardy for a living. They’re essentially lower paid employees than Trebek.
Go Ken!
This was awesome
This was very entertaining! Two thumbs up👍👍
Where the heck is James?

While I think there is a good chance that Ken will be the host, Brad would prob make a good host too
There's only ONE episode scheduled for my DVR recordings this week.....Tuesday. I must assume Ken wins unless ABC is being tricky with s schedule information.

Some mics are unidirectional and some aren't
2:30 Come to think about it, all 3 contestants are from the Pacific Time Zone. Ken is from Seattle. James lives in Las Vegas, and Brad lives in Los Angeles
Brad is from Pennsylvania, Ken is from Salt Lake City, and James is from Illinois. Got any more information you'd like to share?

So you think the key to good memory is interest, Ken?
I'm loving this tournament! I found it interesting when Brad said he changed the way he played the game because of James, but from a fan perspective, I personally don't enjoy it. I was hoping James didn't ruin Jeopardy forever. I still hope he didn't.
Denese Dugay i suppose u didnt like arthur chu either🙄.
It's always made more sense to start with the higher value clues since typically this means more $ is in play when the DD is uncovered I wondered why more players didn't use this method
@@PabloGonzalez-hv3td Arthur Chu The clues become less straightforward as you move down the board. It was simply conventional wisdom that you used the easier clues to prime your brain for the tougher, big money questions. Even Brad and Ken subscribed to this notion.
@@segasys1339 It's extra risk for sure but it comes down to confidence in the category. If I'm answering 2K clues at home surely it's easier for real players to adopt

I loved this show and will continue to love this show. It's very sad and it sucks Alex Trebek passed away. WTF. 2020 is a really stupid and weird year. I don't know how many legendary icons we've lost this year alone. I'm tired of this gloomy and somber world. I don't know why kind-hearted people leave the Earth so soon while selfish narcissists don't have any health problems.
Ken Jennings looks like a super young version of one of my professors. Also I know this is weird and I’ll get murdered but: I ship Ken and Brad. I didn’t ship them during the tournament but I do now
18:19 Probably more like 95%
One thing which I want to bring up from last nights episode are the commercials for the Jeffrey Epstein documentary on ABC. It was so disturbing and made me so nervous I almost wanted to shut the T.V. off. I was here to watch Jeopardy! and that guys face just took up the whole screen. Creepy! I wish ABC would've rethought this one. Now to last nights episode, game 3 of the tournament. In my mind it was, by far, the best night. Again, like I've said elsewhere, Brad isn't living up to his potential. He did better than before but he's not really a factor to win. He did play spoiler, however. Brad got a "Daily Double" and leaned over to Ken and said, "You can thank me for that." Meaning, if James had got the "Daily Double" the game would've changed significantly. Now on to Ken Jennings! Wow oh wow. I might be wrong about him. He wants to win this thing so badly and he took a huge risk by going all-in on the "Daily Double" in the first game of the match. He got the question right and this was the turning point of the match. Ken built a sizable lead and James could not catch up. Very impressive. It's interesting to see how Ken has studied Jame's game play. Ken followed Jame's tactics in his own game. You have to gamble. You have to go all-in and get the answer right to secure the lead. Good for you, Ken.
davidhunternyc the Epstein face was disquieting, to say the least.
I'm gonna take a guess this is not the Matt Forte that was an NFL running back.

Great interview, but why are they using hand mikes instead of lavs? This interviewer keeps dropping his own mike, very annoying.
Brad and Ken rolling up like they just left a GQ shoot 😮
"DO IT!"
How come Brad Rutter isn't doing very well in this tournament if Ken Jennings lost to him many times before?
Ken said he concentrated on Alex's cadence and it paid off because he's first on the buzzer often. I rooted for Ken and Brad to continue their streaks.
@@linda1lee2 So it's just a buzzer issue?
@Sharon 92075 At their level it's all about the buzzer. Each one of them pretty much knows the answer to all the clues so it's just a matter of who buzzes in first. That plus the Daily Doubles have proven to be huge. James always bets big on them so the other two have started to do the same in order to protect themselves against James' big bets
@@BB--13118 So who do you think is the best? Who do you want to win?
@@sharonsolana At this point, having won 2 games, Ken is the obvious favorite to win. In my opinion, even if he doesn't, I believe he's the best. I love James' style but, to win 74 games in a row in incredible. One thing to remember is that since his streak, no one has come within 50 games. It shows not only a mastery of the buzzer but an incredible range of knowledge. Having lost to Brad on a few occasions and seeing James get all the recent publicity, I think he came into this match determined to prove he"s the best.
