i do like the way the UEF commander is portrayed, the cybran commander is considered the chosen one for said faction, the aeon commander is known as the champion, but the UEF commander is just a greenhorn commander that has higher than average skills, i like how the story showed this commander as they went from greenhorn to hero of the UEF.

Heh...that is correct my boy, starwars is weak against these factions. UEF, Cybran, or Aeon can wipe the floor with any starwars faction I think. If I am wrong then, how so since they have been fighting in an infinite war, more experienced commanders, better technology both civilian, and militarily. The only way that I could see either faction losing to any starwars faction is through rampant stupidity and well back stabbing, although that defeat would be a one time thing as these Supcom factions would bounce right back... hmm...

They just have..alot of shit..like...compared to the supreme commander universe, warhammer 40k may have a chance, and also if any of the Supcom systems uses any 8 pointed star component, motherfing chaos will take over the said units who even have those said components. Unfortunately for me the information on this 8 star components being used by chaos to take over computers, the source material has been forgotten by me, so do take that with a grain of salt. But if the supcom factions are not stopped at 1st tier by the warhammer universe the 2nd tier will be harder to deal with, then the 3rd and experimental tiers the warhammer universe will not be able to hold them back, blockade yes but only for about a few months...however that is in favorable positions. and tactics used by the warhammer universe i beleive and that the supcom has to recreate their spaceforce in order to deal with 40k universe spacecraft. But without a doubt, Supcom will hold a system for themselves permanently if they show up in the warhammer universe. However, if they have to deal with Orks the orks will probably become harder threats to deal with due to their status of being the milky ways immune system to speak in a way. The only threat that i see for the supcom universe factions in the warhammer 40k universe will be the orks, as the longer they fight the better they become and when the supcom tiers up the orks may or may not 'teir up' as well. But that is speculation and educated guesses on my part on the knowledge I have on the orks.

@@merchskele7507 Yes, Supreme Commander is one of those few Sci-Fi universes that can handily beat Warhammer 40k, at least when it comes to land battles. As we've seen in the game, a single ACU is able to produce a massive army in less than an *hour.* Not to mention that according to scaling seen in both the game and official material, the SupCom units are massive, with even the basic infantry bots being 10+ meters tall. Now that I think about it like that, the SupCom universe kinda gives off vibes of happening in the Dark Age of Technology.

@@quantum.9883 The UEF ending is the canon one. In the Aeon ending, the Princess becomes one with Quantum realm, in the Cybran ending, Earth is won over by them and the Quantum Network is down. This leaves only the UEF. Lastly, in the very final UEF teaser, after the credits, you could see schematic portayal of the upcoming Forged Alliance intro, look it up.

none of Supreme Commander endings are the true ending. The closest would be Cybran. But they fail to destroy the gates, and instead open the rift for the Seraphin (as QAI is responsible for firing Black sun)

@@_Azurael_ Disagree, the UEF should be the closest to canon. Cybran victory means the gates would be destroyed and quantum travel is impossible for 5 years. Marxon would still be alive (he would have been part of the Order) and Brackman would have "rest" forever. Given that the Cybran Commander is a Brackman clone, and if Cybran victory was canon, the original Brackman cannot exist Aeon victory simply cannot be canon, else there would be no Order to team up with the Seraphim and there would be a unified humanity against the Seraphim. There should be no racism and characters like Fletcher when people like Clarke were converted to the Way UEF victory means that Aeon and Cybran core worlds are destroyed (said worlds are not mentioned in FA), Brackman and Burke are alive, Marxon is dead, Quantum travel is still possible, both the Cybran Nation and the Aeon Illuminate still exist as distinct, separate factions with their own government and society. ("Peace" between all 3 factions). All of these are true by the events of FA, so the UEF ending is closest to canon

The Aeon ending really seems to show that Rhianne Burke is dead, or 'moved on' . Whilst the UEF ending results in mass genocide of the other Factions, that makes it seem impossible for the Loyalists and Cybran Remnant to allign with the UEF to make the Coalition in FA. Rather It seems more likely they would celebrate the destruction of Earth by the Seraphim...

Cersie Hansen's reply is 100% right, parts of each ending are used, the major difference between any one ending and the official ending is that black sun doesn't fire correctly and instead creates the quantum rift that the seraphim use to invade.

@@willofone2120 They were ending an 1000 year war and accepted peace the second the other factions offered it, and not using it would have meant their deaths by either cybrans or the aeon. The aoen had been doing the whole civilian genocide thing for the entire conflict, and incited rebellions don't tend to be clean affairs. I doubt the uef surpassed cybran and aoen kill count with their one use of the weapon(And likely only use, you really think someone's gonna start something again with that thing around? Also the uef would probably prefer keeping their planets whole wven after they have the weapon.)

BTW, why did the UEF president not evacuate the outer worlds? He would slow the Aeon down, if not stop them outright. Yes, you could claim he gives up territory and resources, but he would free up a lot of military assets, including commanders he could attack with. By attacking, he could potentially disrupt the Aeon assault.

Just handing over worlds and hundreds of millions of people, maybe billions to forced conversion and genocide is a hard act to swallow. Loss of confidence would follow and maybe even outright panic and civil collapse if the UEF citizens got wind of how badly the war was going.

Trading planets for time via defense in depth. The key strategy for a UEF victory is Black Sun, which is something that needs time to complete. Simply put, the UEF had no way of "winning", let alone hold the line as the Aeon would have crushed them conventionally. By trading as much planets for time, the UEF can slow down the Aeon assault every step the way through, rather than let the Aeon take planets uncontested then delay them for some time in a one massive battle that the UEF will eventually lose via attrition. It's would be like Reach all over again, except there's no 117 to save Humanity *when* Reach falls had they gone with Clarke's suggestion

@@Ponja__ well, it's kinda illogical to keep fighting till dead on 2 fronts when they can accept the Cybran terms of symbionts freedom (also considering the fact that Cybran side don't have intentions of annihilation) and concentrate all forces against Aeon attacks. And also UEF actually will not be defeated if Cybrans take over the Black Sun, they'll lose space travel for several years, which is not fatal. It's way better than destroying whole worlds.

I would LOVE that the ACUs has this much weight when you play..here (and the original trailer of the Game) you see It walking and feeling the weight of every movement It does..in the game the UEF ACU walks like a toy with bad articulations..the cybran ACU walks kind of how i would expect and the AEON ACU is just badly animated...

Cersie Hansen's reply is 100% right, parts of each ending are used, the major difference between any one ending and the official ending is that black sun doesn't fire correctly and instead creates the quantum rift that the seraphim use to invade.

The "true" ending of SC1 takes aspects of all three and combines them. I'd suggest reading the books
I think the idea is that once black sun fires the seraphim march in before anything changes, and/or the true effects of the weapon are cancelled by the interference.

When we are told to fire black sun. it was the first time i hesitated to press it. wondering if this would make this universe beter. glad i beat the UEF first. each faction had there prose and cons but this ending felt wrong.
I know what you mean. Of course neither ending is Canon since the expansion.
I mean, it stopped a long attrition war with foes who cared little about whatever collateral damage they caused to achieve their ends.
@@myriad9597 it is not hyperbole to say that the UEF ending killed the most civilians of all the other factions combined. They've destroyed at least 15 other worlds going by those maps.
@@willofone2120 They were ending an 1000 year war and accepted peace the second the other factions offered it, and not using it would have meant their deaths by either cybrans or the aeon. The aoen had been doing the whole civilian genocide thing for the entire conflict, and incited rebellions don't tend to be clean affairs. I doubt the uef surpassed cybran and aoen kill count with their one use of the weapon(And likely only use, you really think someone's gonna start something again with that thing around? Also the uef would probably prefer keeping their planets whole wven after they have the weapon.)

BTW, why did the UEF president not evacuate the outer worlds? He would slow the Aeon down, if not stop them outright. Yes, you could claim he gives up territory and resources, but he would free up a lot of military assets, including commanders he could attack with. By attacking, he could potentially disrupt the Aeon assault.
That was General Clarke's suggestion, but he dismissed it. Probably because it'd be disastrous for factionwide morale to see so many worlds lost in such a short period of time.
@@Dafuqinator7 I think it would be hard to just "let the worlds go" too with how the Aeon are implied to act, or rather the Marxon faction within the Illuminate. Just handing over worlds and hundreds of millions of people, maybe billions to forced conversion and genocide is a hard act to swallow. Loss of confidence would follow and maybe even outright panic and civil collapse if the UEF citizens got wind of how badly the war was going.

Trading planets for time via defense in depth. The key strategy for a UEF victory is Black Sun, which is something that needs time to complete. Simply put, the UEF had no way of "winning", let alone hold the line as the Aeon would have crushed them conventionally. By trading as much planets for time, the UEF can slow down the Aeon assault every step the way through, rather than let the Aeon take planets uncontested then delay them for some time in a one massive battle that the UEF will eventually lose via attrition. It's would be like Reach all over again, except there's no 117 to save Humanity *when* Reach falls had they gone with Clarke's suggestion

@@Ponja__ well, it's kinda illogical to keep fighting till dead on 2 fronts when they can accept the Cybran terms of symbionts freedom (also considering the fact that Cybran side don't have intentions of annihilation) and concentrate all forces against Aeon attacks. And also UEF actually will not be defeated if Cybrans take over the Black Sun, they'll lose space travel for several years, which is not fatal. It's way better than destroying whole worlds.

I would LOVE that the ACUs has this much weight when you play..here (and the original trailer of the Game) you see It walking and feeling the weight of every movement It does..in the game the UEF ACU walks like a toy with bad articulations..the cybran ACU walks kind of how i would expect and the AEON ACU is just badly animated...
