  • You have quite a talent and I enjoy watching these videos. I do have a question though. Have you ever considered showing us a video where you truly live off the land for a night? Meaning….catching a fish and eating that, purifying your own drinking and cooking water, etc rather than preparing foods that were previously purchased at a store. I hope I don’t sound rude….I know how much effort goes into all of this. I have hunted and fished for my entire life and even so, when we camp my family and I almost always bring store bought foods with us. But, it would be really amazing to see an episode where everything you eat comes from what you caught/hunted and foraged, and where you even had to find water to purify to make it potable. One time my husband and I camped, and we caught crayfish and ate them for our dinner. It’s just an amazing feeling to know you are truly living off the land when you bring nothing to eat or drink with you, and you don’t have groceries to rely on. It’s hard to believe our ancestors lived like that for thousands of years.

My property has a lot of clay, but no rocks, I'd love to build an under ground home, but as I've gotten older my mobility issues make it difficult to do labour intensive things. So I enjoy watching you do it, thank you for sharing your adventure, and keep safe from the wild boar, at least you have a food source available if needed. Cheers!

Bravo , bravo, bravo 👏✌️🏋️👍👍.

So I stole some of Dad's Ancient Age whiskey and we burned that. Lol. When mosquitoes got bad we put strawberry incense sticks in the corners it chased them out. Sometimes us. This was in 1967. My brother brought home K rations and we would eat those. Of course that's when we found cigarettes. But we didn't inhale. Great memories. Great childhood.
