I have stuck with the original galaxy buds since the release and they have lasted awhile but battery does die on each bud within 4 hours, really looking forward to getting the buds 2 pro, it will be a huge jump in audio quality, and haven't heard anything particularly bad about them so will be looking forward to getting them, I'm also interested in how the LE audio works exactly that will be released later this year in an update

I recently got the red Buds+ for a good price and while its not the best sounding thing, I love its long battery life, it could last me 2-3 days for non-constant use. Plus it matches the color of my red Note 10 Lite, I still wish Samsung still makes this color scheme for their phones and buds.

I have been using Buds 2 since January. At first, I had problems with the original tips because they hurt my ears. Then I bought Spinfit tips because I realised that I need to wear SS tips. Now, I'm so happy with my Buds 2. I think 1 thing most reviewers forgot to mention is that Samsung have their own Galaxy Buds app for Windows so it's quite convenient to change some settings even though it's not as complete as their Android app.

If I'm not mistaken, the Buds Pro and Buds2 were being switched around here. But with that said, the Buds 2 which I have in Olive are very comfortable and sound great. I still love the old Buds plus for the fit. But my wife took those and gave me her Buds Pros, again due to the fit. So far I think the Pros are lacking, but only because of the tips, so I ordered new tips and will see how that works out in a few days. But still, I'm looking forward to getting the Buds Pro 2. They look like the best of all packed into one with added features. Plus someone finally listened to me...The case can be tracked if lost. Hallelujah! BTW the Buds live didn't last in my house. Went right back after 1 week. Cool look but pointless imo.

I bought charjenpro buds pro foam tips and it makes all the difference.Get charjenpro because they're silicone coated foam because regular foam tips will wear out quickly.
@LobsterJohnson I didn't go with the foam but instead went with the double-flange ear tips off Amazon. Not sure of the name but they never gal out and all features work great.

I love my Buds Plus, still №1 in terms of neutral sound and frequency response in RTINGS.
I gotta say the buds live are the most comfortable buds I have ever worn. Not the best for great sound quality but amazing for casual listening. I forget they are in my ear constantly

The only video I found that effectively compared all the generations. I have the Buds + and have loved them. With the pre-order of the Zfold 4, I wanted to upgrade my earbuds too, but wasn't sure if it was worth it. Thank you very much for the video, it helped.

My first requirement is a comfortable fit...I've bought and then dumped more earbuds than I want to admit to. I bought the Buds 2 about a year ago now, and they are the first in-ear type buds that have been totally comfortable. Fit of course is so subjective, based on your ear configuration - so I can't deny other folks experiences. As design wise, they are similar to the Buds 2, I will sooner or later pop for the Buds Pro 2, but for what I paid for them, the Buds 2 offer great value.

I absolutely love the buds 2, but the only problem I have w them is the fit.. when working out or just in a hot day, when I'm sweating, the buds always start slipping out and I lose a lot of bass, aswell as comfort. How do these compare while sweating etc?

Samsung Buds 2 set on Dynamic are really hard to beat for the price. The sound is phenomenal for being wireless in ear ear phones. The Noise cancelation is great for low droning sounds like being on trains, buses, airplanes or just walking around town. The Ambient mode is pretty good but I wouldn't consider them good enough to have them in while working if your music is off, your ears are better (lol). Great in ear ear phones. I only guess the Pro's have slightly better fidelity and bass.

Do the case lock after you close them or no? The thing I've hated about the buds pro case was that as soon as they fell on anything the case comes open, with the buds going flying across whatever they hit. I would just think as much as you pay for the product, they would fit better secure in a case after you close them
Bought my wife the buds+ years ago and she still loves them. I got the buds live and tried to love them for a year. Great sound/not comfortable at all. Scrapped my ears

Yeah. I've had them since they came free with my Note 20 Ultra and I've used them since every day all day. I prefer them over my Airpods 2 and 3 and Pro. I also have the Buds and Buds+ but those are not as comfortable and they start hurting my ear after a while because even the smallest plug is too thick for my ear. I only use them for jogging.

They are easily the worst sounding earbuds that I've ever heard.

@@STVN20 I can fit an Etymotic ER2SE so this ones are no problem, problem is that frequency response is completely off with lack of bass and some horrible peeks in the treable.
Hi! I have the Buds Plus has been two years and I love them for their sound and battery life. I feel that the battery is slowly loosing it's power, tho. So I've been thinking of getting new earbuds. I'm thinking about the Buds 2 because the Pro versions are too expensive where I live (in Brazil). I'm just worried if I won't feel much difference between the sound quality of the Plus and the Buds 2, and also will loose on battery on the Buds 2. Do you think the Buds 2 is worthy of the upgrade from my Buds Plus? Is the sound quality better?
Bought the Buds 2 on Black Friday from Amazon. Enjoy the fit but definitely wish the audio quality was better and had a customizable EQ. Hopefully the update will add the customizable EQ in the near future.
I received mine today like many of us. Just an honest background who I am. I am one of those audiophile nuts, about 30+ years. Not to brag, but my stereo is about 20k. So far I have owned original Galaxy Buds, own 2 pairs of Buds Pro (1 at office, 1 for home), and now this new Buds2 Pro Buds2 Pro sound quality is far superior to the original Pro. Particularly channel separation and little detail. I love these Buds2 Pro! Big thumbs up! Very comfortable.

Nice, so happy the buds pro 2 have that bass heavy profile, my biggest complaint against samsung buds were the bass, while not lacking, just not Jabra level stuff, but I will say my buds 2 did have some nice bass, so that makes me even more exited about getting the buds pro 2 soon! Samsung took $75 for my buds 2 and threw in a wireless charger $59.99, will arrive at the end of the month

I will be upgrading from my Buds+ to Buds2 Pro. It's kind of a vanity purchase because my Buds+ still work great but I really want to have that ANC because my window is usually open onto a busy street and I'd finally like a good undisturbed sound.
Buds + are perfect. The wingtips and excellent battery life are my favorites.

Convenience factor absolutely goes to the Buds2 Pro, loving the ambient mode and speaking lowering the volume, allowing me to speak with my kids when I want to; otherwise ANC is on and letting me tune them out haha but fitment absolutely goes to the Buds Live still. The most comfortable earphones I have ever used, still.
I had Galaxy Buds Pro and i sold them due to the fit being so bad - i got Galaxy Buds 2 and they work fine with me. Is the fit so much better than the Buds Pro? The bulge seemed problematic for me
I had the buds plus then got the buds 2. I do like features on the 2. But the feel of the plus was awesome, fit better & I liked my blue color from bestbuy. I miss my plus.

Not for nothing but I still prefer the Buds Live over all other models. No the sound stage or ANC wasn't as good as the others. However, the comfort with the "bean" design is pretty much unparalleled. I pray they make a successor to them because it would be unfortunate to let the design go the way of the Dodo. I have a very weird ear canal shape on my right ear which makes in ear headphones super hard to use. With the Buds Live I can actually sleep with them in.
Me too! I love the Buds live's shape, not only for the fit but also for how it is not entirely blocking outside sound. For context, I am a runner, and often times I run in the street with high-speed vehicles running around. I still need to be aware of my surrounding while I'm running, so these beans are perfect for me. For a long time, it is freaking hard to find headsets/earpieces that have no rubber piece, so that it does not block any external sound. And finally Buds Live appears!
@@ShofwanAmrullah that is also a major need of mine as well. I work on the railroad and often wear at least one bud while working. Even wearing just one bud it's nice to have the ambient noise of my surroundings heard through that ear. Yes other bugs have the ambient feature but it's just not as good as it naturally filtering in.

Are the buds 2 pro more comfortable than the buds pro? the buds 2 pro are smaller than the buds pro? my experience with the buds pro was terrible, they hurt me a lot and they fell off, for now I have the buds live and everything is great.
Personally I went and got the Comply foam tips and dont have issues with them falling out anymore, and audio quality is practically the same.
To me it's comfy Guess no ear is the same

How is the fit of the Buds Pro 2? The first Buds Pro first edition was a terrible fit for me. I had to send them back. The Buds 2 had a very good fit . I love them!
I've had two pairs of Buds+ and absolutely love the battery life on them; I lost a pair on a trip purchased another set. I purchased a Buds2 Pro for work to replace an old Shure bluetooth headset and the battery life is pitiful in comparison to the Buds+. Almost 2 years later the right-side Buds+ outputs much lower sound than the left so I have to replace this set but they no longer make them. Such a shame, I'm going to have to have two sets of Buds2 Pro to swap out several times a day since I'm on the computer a good chunk of the day. Thanks for the review.
This literally happened to me weeks ago. The volume on my right buds plus bud went low and the left is always higher. Guess it's just time to upgrade lol. Had em since they came out lol. I purchase the buds 2

Galaxy buds plus I think are the best headphones Samsung has released. They fit well in my ears and aren't very heavy. All their new ones have been too heavy and haven't fit well and don't do well for gym use.

Probably going to pick up the Pro 2's with a bundle. Been rocking the Buds Plus since launch. These have been dope the whole time! Battery life and passive noise cancelling is sufficient on airplanes.

Amazon india is sometimes selling the buds pro refurbished for under $60 and new for around $80 and for someone who can live without those few new features and 10% better experience while also saving a ton of money, its a no brainer to go for the buds pro, specially students on a budget.

I have both the buds live and the buds pro . The buds live fit like heaven . They just sit there and have no chance of falling out . Even if they don't have effecient ANC , i love them. The buds pro sound tremendously better . So if fit isn't a priority for you go for the buds pro

I still have the original galaxy buds and they are still working really well, I was considering getting new ones and with maybe a new phone (my S7 also still works fine, but I'm a bit scared that it will die on me soon, as I don't know many people who still have working S7s), since the battery life isn't that great anymore and they don't look as good anymore (dropped them A LOT, so some small pieces chipped off), but I honestly hate the shape of the new galaxy buds so I think I'll just wait another year.

I use Buds 2 of about 4 months , and are absolutely brilliant,stick to the idea that if you do not have an older version of headphones is not worth buying buds 2 pro ... For example, Buds 2 has the function of 360 audio following the last update, so it remains only in terms of design and an improvement at ANC...
I been using the buds 2 and the noise canceling doesn't work for me I still hear audio from the outside even with noise canceling on its annoying however I like the buds 2 for everything else but that I am also getting the buds 2 pro because I've had the galaxy buds- live and I skipped the buds pro to get the buds 3 now getting the buds 2 pro

Does anyone know if the charging parts of the buds2 pro make contact with the skin at all ? they seem to be more on the outer edge this time. I had ear infections on the first buds pro because of this. But I loved them and would love to buy a new pair of these if they fixed this.

In my personal opinion I dont prefer sony Wf-1000xm4, I prefer samsung buds pro as right now own it, , I do have other tws like grado gt220, jbl pro, edifier neo buds pro. IF you looking for anc go for sony, if sound is your preferance please look on other, maybe samsung buds2 pro best for you

I have the buds pro and ordered the Sony just for comparison. Sony as usual have a volume issue.. They aren't loud at all.. And the fit is even weirder than the buds pro

There is a lot of misconception about what 24 bit audio brings. First, the Scalable codec is also 24 bit capable. Second, it has a better SNR beyond the 16 bit threshold which is 96dB. That means it is virtually inaudible, well beyond the noise floor of the DAC/amp and the environment you are using them... No effect on frequency separation, that's maybe the lossless codec and definitely the DAC/amp/driver design at play. You can try to switch to 16bit audio in the developer settings to see if your heard anything different.
