No. Sorry, wrong, NOT race, simply an issue of MONEY & good lawyering. I'm white as it gets, was sentenced to the maximum I could possibly get for robbing a bank with a note. No gun, no violence, no threat, just instructions. Not to say I disnt deserve prison. Just maybe not 13 years, considering the fact that my wife was r*ped & then withstood an attempted murder, which was committed by an illegal immigrant... he served 15 years. 1 of just 2 friends I made in prison was convicted of murder as a 19 year old... he got 15-to-life, and actually served 33 years. He killed a guy who had allegedly r*ped a friend of his (he was set up for that). He is also a white guy. No, not race.

yeah thats not realistic. Those bridges may be able to hold a tank or two, but that might mean a dozen cars at a time. Plus, new infrastructure would still be needed to feed the bridge. It really wouldnt make nearly enough of a difference to make it worthwhile

Re Baltimore bridge collapse: The Army Corps of Engineers & Navy are helping multiple U.S. States who depend on this port. Federal aid is appropriate. The wealthy who got disproportionate tax breaks from Trump own some of the companies that will benefit. If Congress is worried about the costs, consider returning tax breaks for the wealthy to pre-Trump levels. Congress shouldn't sabotage Biden's efforts at the expense of the wellbeing of the majority of the people.
I dont think you understand the tax system. For one, it only applies to US based companies. Increasing taxes on companies only sends those companies to base themselves in other countries, Amazon is one such company. They pay zero US tax, whereas guys like Musk DO pay it, its funny how people dont know that. This kind of 'tax business' and tax the rich kind of policy game has been going around for decades. Everytime they increase tax on businesses and the wealthy, tax income from those sources GOES DOWN, not up, because those people take their capital elsewhere.
