No, you must engage low range and low range is not advisable to be driven on road

P Pha the Atrac on the Landcruiser was automatic and could be used in 4 hi

It depends on the individual vehicle.

@@prandomable yes, this feature comes built in from the factory. In some models, like mine, all you have to do is buy and install a switch worth $25 to use the feature
