Guys you actually don’t have to stay when you give him the diary you can go to the next area he will be at and you can summon him again, so you can get all three diary steps in one portal, I just did it myself, pls like so Noah can see I think it’ll help save some rounds and time :) Edit: Once you leave the area zombies will return to chase you again but if you’re quick enough you can summon the guy then hand the diary then zombies won’t chase you anymore Edit 2: You can actually grab the fire DIE part while ur still doing the first 2, because you can craft the aetherscope which you get the three parts for at any time so really you can get the elements in whatever order you want, I recommend ice, poison/lightning, and either fire or lightning last

The first time I did this my friend told me "Ok we have to run and when I say run I mean we're gonna have run"and told me to follow him. I had no idea what was going to happen. When the purple things disappeared and the timer started I went to the right and we had to jump over the gap but because my friend got in the way I fell and nearly died due to the horde of zombies but I used my aether shroud. Then I somehow miraculously managed to weave around the zombies parkour around the staircase and get up while nearly dying to the blue light things. Then I screamed once I got out of the bunker "WHERE DO I GO WHERE DO I GO LEFT IT RIGHT!???" And he was like go right go right and I legged it sound the zombies shooting then and dodging them and I had about 27 seconds left and then started panicking. I made it towards the helicopter and my friend was there and the chills I had the entire time were insane. We got out though so I was so happy.

Can this EE be done with 2 people?
Some tips for anyone doing this for the first time. For the anomaly steps with the journal, you don't actually have to wait for the guy to stop speaking. As soon as you hand the first one the journal the second anomaly can spawn in so you can go and activate it which causes the third to spawn in. You can do all three very easily in one trip if you do this. Also just for some optimization, as long as the plane part is off of the fuse you can shoot the box and grab the fuse, and that includes every time you go into the dark aether, so on the same trip you get the pack-a-punch part, you can grab the fuse, but you still have to wait for the portal to spawn by the truck to do the rest of it. Additionally, I would recommend everyone doing this solo or in duos to do the coffin dance easter egg the same round you build pack. If you roll a gold on the box they leave behind, (done by opening half way through green every time) you get a free juggernog and a free purple or gold rarity weapon plus other stuff. when I do this solo, I literally do not buy a gun, I go from spawn loadout, to high tier weapon from the coffin dance egg, and then replace spawn gun with free die machine. Finally, for the step where you pick up the golden ball, the dogs will only spawn in once, and it only happens when you get near the ball, not when you pick it up. If you are struggling with the dogs on that step, go near it, kill them, then pick up the part. This guide is good, but you can tell that it was made very early on in understanding the easter egg and could use a lot of optimization. Not a bad thing though, this guide 100% got me through my first run. I'd encourage anyone else who has found optimizations and tricks to post them for those who are going to be attempting this egg for the first time.
@Kyoma thats why you do it at the end of the round that you build pack a punch. You have to end the round some time, why not get a good gun and a free perk out of it?

@@shastealyomeal after you build the pack a punch, five orbs will appear around the collider room, shoot them and it will do the Easter egg. I'd just look up a vid of it since I am not sure I can describe their locations well enough over text

Here's a tip for everyone who is going to do any EE in cold war: The host can pause the game & it pauses for everyone, meaning you don't need to have someone training zombies while the other do steps/watch EE guides

This Easter egg was actually easier than I expected, especially the last wave of zombies. I think because I was doing it solo so thats why I think it didn’t get to crazy. Finished at round 32 cause it was my first time trying to get all wonder weapon ammo types
i know this is two years old but to anyone whos new to this easter egg/wounder weapon you dont need to get ammo off the boss's the weapons aim button has been replaced with a new ability that allows it to SLOWLY consume zombies around it and recharge its ammo (the cryo and electro are the best with cryo being the best for damage and slow and electro being the best for ammo and recharge [i recommend the cryo for boss's as it slows them down to about 1/4 their normal speed and does about 1k more damage a tick] )

Just a little tip: You can actually put the plaguehound gas into the thing next to deadshot before you put the canister in, so if you can get there before dog round starts you can get that prefilled

Just recently got back into this game after a looking hiatus never managed any of the Easter eggs but just nailed this one thanks to this guide, so big thanks for the straight forward guide !!!!
Just a tip that I found the other night: when grabbing the Aetherscope parts, you can actually grab them all in one trip so long as you don’t kill all of the Plaguehounds that spawn from each piece. Saves a lot of time as well as rounds.

You can kill all the plague hounds just don’t kill the zombie you saved. Also don’t use teleporters without killing all the plague hounds because they spawn surrounding you at the teleporters exit location and most of the time you just die instantly
They don't all spawn most of the time though. I have to wait until another portal opens up most of the time.

For the Vogal Diary step, you can do it all in one go. Start at med bay and after giving the book you can go to control room and repeat, after the book is given go to particle accelerator and do the 3rd. You don't have to be present to watch the full dialogue unless you are wanting info behind the facility. It makes it easier to speedrun later down the line for people like me since we only would have to wait on the 3rd dialogue to finish before proceeding :)

It was round 26 and I decided to start this, currently on 31 on the final step about to do the boss, can’t wait Failed coz of the blue lines I restarted it with 2 people and we did it by round 27, had so much fun, thanks for the guide
The lightning for when you need to exfil is not a “insta down” it damages you very quickly but does not insta down you. You can run through it with stamin up and sliding, if I knew this I would not have screwed up the last God damn part. Keep in mind this was on solo when I found it out, may not work for multiplayer.

Just so you know you can hit all three diary ghost one right after another. Don't have to wait for them to stop talking to go to next one. Get all three in 30 seconds👍🏻

I just did this yesterday, as well as(small detail that people leave out) you can use the first megaton to make the fungus on the tree glow, even before you have the wonderweapon. I'm sure people know this but I kept going into higher rounds with how much little details were not explained. A lot of the things people say make you think you need to constantly end rounds when you don't really need to if you're quick and efficient

For anyone that doesn't know, the aether scope parts don't necessarily spawn one at a time, you can get multiple at the same time. Also, when you talk to the ghosts, you don't have to wait on the dialogue to finish, you can immediately go to the next one.

Note: The guy at the end can't die if he gets hit too much. Just did the ee on solo and let him get hit a lot and his health bar didn't go down at all. All that happens is he stops working on the machine until you kill the zombies near him.

@@DeepDarkDumb The first tip would be to get the spaz with dead wire for the bosses since dead wire does bonus damage to bosses. If you can, get the raygun but you don't need it. The electric D.I.E. is probably the best one to use because of the ammo and how fast it melts the zombies. Make sure to have aether shroud and 5 stims.

@@DeepDarkDumb I just beat the EE solo. Just make sure you have all perks, the electric version of the WW, 3 armor, 5 stims, and a self revive just in case. A tier 3 pack a punch gun won't hurt but really you'll only be using the WW. Make sure you target the bosses and run over their corpses so you don't run out of ammo. Also the tier 3 aura heal field upgrade is a must have for me

This zombies game is near perfect to me. The way all the systems work so smoothly together is just so nice. There’s also just enough rng and constant upgrading to have a variety of things to do each game

Thank you alot for this it took almost 2 hours started at 8 finished at quarter to 10. I died first attempt stupidly while trying to gey the gas canister full and almost died 2nd attempt when trying to complete the exfil. But I completed it and got an achievement and a bunch of crystals. Just thank you. I don't want to even think about doing firebase z atm....

@@HystericalMafia nah, the squad he had with him are crazy, crazy smart and extremely good at puzzles. Geeky pastimes basically solved the whole damn pre launch easter egg stuff himself.
Data miners get the information then give the information to these KZheadrs. Doesn’t bother me, I love having these resources online so I can do it myself :)
Awesome guide, helped a lot! Did this solo on my 2nd attempt, the boss fight is pretty damn easy solo because at some point zombies briefly stop spawning at each stage of repair so you can get some good progress and only 1 or 2 megatons spawn per repair stage, but they get shredded by the electric die weapon. Some things I picked up on during the easter egg: - The container in the nose of the plane containing the fuse needs to be hit open, simply going through portals doesn't magically open it, a melee hit will do. - When getting the cryo variant for the wonder weapon, having the megation walk past the mushroom can cause it to glow and produce the liquid, it doesn't have to shoot it necessarily. - Stims are the best for solo because you can shoot the D.I.E while you stim so you can essentialy tank a little bit. - You don't need to kill the zombie in the tank, you just have to make him go back in (I shot him a couple times with an AR, which wasn't enough to kill him) - If solo, use the electric wonder weapon variant, it's probably the best at clearing the zombies and deals massive damage to crowds, if in group you will be the carry with this weapon. - During the boss fight the friendly megaton does not seem to die, but if he gets hit he will stop making progress, so I would advise being near him but not directly next to him so you don't block yourself. I never saw his health go down once, unless he has extreme amounts of health.
I literally used every single fast travel- up and down -and knifed the box several times trying to open it and it still wouldn't open I had done everything else to a tee on this guide and it still wouldn't open. I seriously hope my game doesn't have to wait for a patch...

Alright, since you completed this ee early I think it is the perfect time for you to upload the fire bow tutorial
In order to unlock the electrobolt you have to absorb the crystals with out and other elements in the wonder weapon. You can change it back to stock version by going back to the last element box you upgraded it to. Example, if you have cryofreeze. Just take it back to the cryofreeze box, and it will just put it back and make the gun normal again.
Then you have to run around the star statue 64 times then book you can play as luigi

Just to help out those who are stuck. The fuse that you collect for the thermo upgrade, you gotta enter the fast travels out of dark aether, then shoot the brief case holding it. Once inside dark aether you are able to grab it. He doesn't explain that step too well. You can do all three Dr Vogel at the same time. and if anyone is confused with the 3 super bursts into the electric upgrade, once you charge the shot and say you run out of time you cannot shoot the box outside of aether you gotta be in aether to shoot it for it to work. (atleast thats what i did) Sorry if this si rinse and repeat with some of the other comments! hope it helps!

I miss the time when it took us all months to solve a shadows of evil easter egg. Now we find it in just a day..
Hated shadows of evil because if how complicated it was and locking core Zombies mechanics behind a huge wall with the rituals, I didn't find it as bad as transit with the stupid Buildable needing to be used. I do agree the core easter egg should be a bit more complicated but it was honestly refreshing that you were able to figure it out while playing they game sorta guided you and I like that. Main Easter egg should be that way and they should have a special one that is the true "Easter egg"
You gotta make it easy at the start so everyone warms up and new players get interested
Well the main Easter-egg (which is what this is) in Shadows of Evil took 5 days, not months. Main Easter-egg usually don't take too long to figure out because everyone knows that it exists, so everyone looks for it. Only side quests and stuff take ages because nobody is actually looking for them.
@@asianbot2731 yeah I see this map as a primer for casual/new players so that they’re more prepared for the more complicated maps to come in the future.

This video helped me so much I finally beat the game and didn’t just kill zombies for no reason.
Little tip: you can find perk cans in the Dark Aether mode when you melee these purple crystals that spawn by certain trees around the upper part of the map
Finally got lucky enough last night to finish this with in a public match with guys that knew how to do this thing flawlessly

Sweet, great video had this done within 2 tries! I did find though the electric upgrade is by far the best thing to go with if your solo in the final boss battle as it kills the megaton minions with in seconds ;0
So I followed all the steps flawlessly! I had every perk, every weapon packed, everything was set and ready to go! SOON AS I PICK UP THE PICTURE, I DIED WHILE CROSSING IVER TO THE BOSS FIGHT AND LOST EVERYTHING !! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 you have to be kidding me !😫😫😤😤

For anyone doing the ee, for the diary step you can do all 3 at the same time. Just activate the spectral anomaly and give him the diary then run to the next one.

Two things that I've noticed that must be said. You don't need to stay and listen to the dialogue in medbay. You can leave and go to all three in one go. The other thing is that the fast travel fuze box item despawns if you don't grab it (like every other item) thus ending your EE playthrough. So if you're going through the fast travels after using the pond portal and not paying attention, you can ruin your game. So pay attention.
this is seriously bogus. running around spending 1000s of points fast traveling because the box the fuse is in wouldnt open and let me pick out the fuse.

I just did this for the first time and with all the new tier upgrades that just came out it made it pretty easy, either shroud with 2 uses is amazing in that boss fight
I finnished it a couple hours ago can't wait for the upcoming season of zombies and the maps that may come
Me and my friend were playing and found out that you can hit the mushroom in the swamp in round 6 on the first boss fight as opposed to the usual round 11 which saves a minmum of 2 rounds and upwards of 4-5 rounds

@@KeepReign let the first boss that spawns hit you next to the mushroom instead of waiting. you dont need the flask.
CLARIFICATION: The first boss doesn’t spawn on round six. The first boss always spawns after building the PaP. If you never turn on power you never get dogs, if you never build PaP you never get the boss. If you do both on the same round let’s say round 5, round 6 will be a dog round and then round 7 will be a boss round. If you’re doing the EE or want the ice DIE upgrade always get the boss to shoot the mushroom on his first spawn to save you time later on.
