Never gets old this game
The amount of knights Sergiu wasted not micromanaging them, trying to destroy stupid farms and rushing the enemies whole army by themselves would be enough to repel Nightmare's attacks had Sergiu just amassed them, preserved them and used them wisely.
He could not mass em, as he didnt have much space in his castle for stables :) I think he had to just spam swordsmans and just walk through everything as nightmare did not had nothing to stop them.
aswell as, he was focusing only on defense. Like his eco sucked comapared to nightmares. When NM asked sergiu why he does not build more farms, he should say, im busy building useles walls :D
For me at least this one its one of my best medieval games of RTS I have play in past. Keep put more vids. Amazing Game play!

Very cool battle! After I have watched several other videos showing your nice castle architecture I was already going to ask if there is any video where it got defeated. Found it then, I guess. But it took several attempts :) A small idea that I had: At the end, you still had some ten thousands of money. So at the point when he entered your castle with the infantery, you could have bought two hundred infantery units yourself. E.g. arabian bowmen. (Edit: or maybe rather paid swordsmen) I usally quickly stop work in bakerys and the like such that all the peasants from there get free and can become soldiers all at once.

alway try to put some lumberjacks camps around the enemy castle. if It's not an option cause something invisible is already build there it means your oponent set some traps or pitch there :)
Catapult rush is the best haha. But good counter with the halberdiers or whatever they're called. They have insane defense

you are only need to make one line of small wall and then build closely a big one to protect castle against assasin rush
Sergiu, The assassians were hiding by your buildings (they were not seen, but the archers were hiting them) he just waited for the right time to strike.. Watch again the scene of your knights at the end and you will see them heading to the castle while your knights are going out.
No, I used the assasins to destroy Sergui's eco. When assasins attack something they become visible to the enemy. So when they destroy a building archers would shoot at them.
Mr NightMare I see, I meant they were hiding, when they moved they attacked automatically and appeared to the archer.. My point is that they were inside his castle since your first attack, but invisible.

Really good game. Serigus i understant your need to make a huge and beautiful castle, unfortunately you are more likely to lose against expert players when making it so i have some advices to you. Reduce number of archers and crossbowmans on towers, you need more units to defend you from siege (catapults, trebuchets) so i think you should make even more knights and a lot of trebuchets outside you castle. Because when they are in, like you saw this time they cant reach enemy catapults. So try to make them outside surrounded by moat and 2-3 lines of walls just do be hardly hitten by catapults. You can add 2 shields also. And that would be your adventage. You opponent can have trebuchets and catapults in attack too, but not surrounded by moat and walls to protect them. Think about this, i think this can be very helpful. Also, nightmare is expert player so i think you cant beat him anyway without a very hard practice for a months, but you should make some very large grop of assasins, and when he attack you when his whole army then you just kill him because he didnt have a gatehouse later. Anyway, very good gama ? Congrats for both !
What you say is right. But I don't need months of practice, I just have to change my tactic. I have played ShC for years, all I got to do is a little train with a new tactic and that's it. :)

Im not supposed to offend. But in multiplayer people forget to build cool castles. Not to mention ppl have too high population, why not to limit themselves to 80 population and limited rescources map? Multiplayer more similar to age of empires with less micro management.

Arogant? he was even giving advices what should sergiu improve. Calling himself and expert is not arogant, its just term used to describe competetive players. And yes, Sergiu is right, u can play 20 years against 50 wolves, but it will never give u so much experience like this one game.

No he shouldn't, there's more pressing matters. Happiness starts at 100.
Warren Cash Bullshit. The lower your happiness is, the faster your population comes from your bonfire. By not instantly building your granary you basically lose population income, causing your economy to be way slower in the start.
