ZEV Electric trike for 3 people, out for a demo drive on potholed and broken roads. Available in a no license version for Moped states or in a higher speed version for other states. $6800 in base form. 4 kw motor. 4.2 kwh battery.

  • Most people HATE these with a passion and for some reasons i can understand, first one is battery power and distance, totally understand, on average we are advancing in battery technology every 2 years. This is the future like it or not. Me personally i can't wait :)

    • These trikes, in the slightly larger 5 door size www.zelectricvehicle.com/t3-5d-trike can run over 100 miles on a charge. With the range extender, they can run over 400 miles on a quart of gasoline.

    • @@MegaDhz ....Therein lies the problem, Darus, like we already discussed, if building these to do 65mph/110kph would up the purchase price too high, how about trying to add 6mph/10kph so the top speed of all the enclosed trikes would be 55mph/90kph? Then at least [with range extenders] one could stick to the secondary and rural roads. Then users/customers would only have to give up travelling on the QEW/400 series and other multi-lane triple digit highways {as I always say, slow down, live longer}. Because where I live the rural speed limit is 80kph, but up in Northwest Ontario, where I used to have my truck routes the speed limit is 90kph. Any slower, you'll get honked at all the time. Ontario, especially the south, along with British Columbia, has the worse drivers.

    • It has a stereo and heater as standard equipment. The whining is only from the camera setting. Watch other video of the same vehicle and there is no sound when recorded with different equipment and the right setting

    • The vehicle are $6300 + shipping to the UK ($600). In the UK the owner will need to pay VAT and duty.

    • In the 2 door model in this vehicle, the maximum speed is 47 mph. Range is 64 miles in the standard version, but can be 100 in the maximum range option. They are legal in Europe. There is a 5 door version coming out in May, that has a 200 mm longer wheelbase and can run 55 mph.

    • Parabéns! Aqui vai ser um sucesso espere mais um pouco estamos em época de eleição Presidencial ou seja troca de corruptos. Más, até o final deste ano 2018. O senhor já pode enviar propostas para futuras montadoras quem sabe até com impostos reduzidos. Pois é esse nosso maior problema "impostos sobre produtos importados" que no geral chegam a até 70% a mais em cima do valor de mercado. Temos aqui a Brazcar e a Buggy onde o Senhor pode iniciar uma proposta existem outras também. O Japão tem um modelo parecido da Toyota mais é inviável pois ficou caro de mais cerca de R$ 35.000,00 o modelo elétrico e R$ 43.000,00 o a gasolina tudo isso devido aos impostos caríssimos de importação. Os modelos já viriam montados prontos para dirigir. Acredito que esse modelo aqui apresentado é o ideal principalmente para o uso de moto taxista que aqui temos muitos. Talvez o senhor possa também oferecer como caráter experimental as empresas terceirizadas daqui para que possam pagar via seguro e etc, afins de propaganda do seu negocio. Parabéns e obrigado pela atenção. Deus o abençoe e seja feliz junto a sua família e lembre se tudo tem o seu tempo diante de Deus.

    • Para evitar os impostos malucos, podemos enviar o trike em forma inacabada, exigindo trabalho lá para terminar a montagem. Em seguida, o veículo entra como partes em um imposto baixo.

  • comparable auto transmission would eliminate the gear and motor noise. Nice outfit, is it years old? I wonder what would the new ones be like? A good one, except the noise, maybe better springs -in ratio to the tipping point. Has anyone designed a tran: unit yet? It would be not difficult surely!
