@@nerdygiant7805 The only loss that could be "fair and square" is a Lopez loss, and still questionable, cause it was an even fight, but Loma took it imo. He 100% beat Haney, not even a discussion, and he beat Salido. Salido should've been deducted all of the points for 67 low blows he scored.
imo, you don't take a true Champ's bell just for trying. Lopez tried well, but don't deserve it because it was a close fight and if take a true count, Lopez didn't land much.

This! Many people will knock Loma for coming up short in 3 fights. But they won't acknowledge he never took the easy road his entire career. When you go after world level competition right out the gate, you're bound to drop a few. Most guys in the game don't follow that blueprint.

@@benj597 He's right, Soviet Boxing is clearly superior to other styles you are just witnessing now. I'm a trainer, been watching boxing since Tyson in the 1990s. The prettiest most athletic boxing I've ever seen is Roy Jones Jr, outside of that it's Lomachenko hands down, nobody even comes close besides Mayweather. The amount of champions and former champions Lomachenko has dominated is utterly insane. Just beating Rigondeaux who has the other best amateur record in boxing history is a feat in itself, that alone should put him at Legendary status.

@@AmericanJohnGrassnah for me that fight was a draw i gave loma 2 7 8 9 10 and 11 plus if you watch that fight you can tell that the better boxer was loma he just let those rounds cause he was injured His game plan was to start working from the sixth round. Loma said that in an interview and I believe him and it doesn't seem like an excuse to me. We all know that Loma would never leave several rounds without doing anything. You can see how after those rounds loma gave teo a masterclass so for me he is undefeated

I agree. Closest call was fight with TEO even though I believe that was fault of Loma himself for being to naive and going into that fight so no excuses and I say this regardless of the fact ,if yo u score by the book ,its a draw or loma by 1 , that would have been a fair result.

Two huge robberies that impacted his career, Lopez and Haney. Very close fights and no doubt can be debated but Loma edged both fighters. No surprise the judges went with the younger, more dynamic prospects as the new faces of boxing. Boxing is more a business nowadays, with a lot of shady deals in the backrooms. If Loma had more knockout power in his punches he wouldn't have to leave it to judges to rob him. Make no mistake that is not a criticism, sometimes you just cant leave it to the judges. I wish Loma was ten years younger, want to see this guy in the ring more, just pure poetry with the fists and feet.

His shots come in snappy like arrows and always hit the chin, thats why he wobbles people despite not turning his shots the traditional way. Funny how in all 3 of his "losses", salido was on the verge of getting stopped, teofimo was the only one that received clean leather in bunches and looked dumb in there, and haney...well that one is pretty obvious. For the record teofimo did win but he was the one who took the good chin shots. Also salido punching his balls 50 times is not an excuse, its a nasty fact.
