Previously the Arlington NARBC, the now Dallas NARBC was an incredible show! We met tons of fans, adopted so many rescues, learned about some stunning crested gecko morphs (you get to see what a sable+lilly white+cappuccino morph looks like!), and more!

The Portrait of Omnomlet was so beautiful. I can’t imagine how long that took to make, what a sweet gift. RIP Omnomlet we all miss you. ❤💔
Hopefully none of her daughters are inclined to eat their babies I feel like whenever they go in the lay box give them a mouse so they don't eat any eggs
I agree that was really spectacular.
I started tearing up
I still miss her dearly and I never knew her
Imma guess..... a werk or 3 4
I love how the event organisers know how much traffic you guys will be bringing in and blocking other vendors they made sure to get space JUST FOR YOU GUYS!!!
Event organizers have the space mapped out beforehand and vendors are assigned specific locations depending on what size booth they rent. So it's actually Snake Discovery that chose a booth this large, not the organizers giving them extra space
Love that positive spin you put in them being by themselves in a room with no other vendors
@@Cara-39 but instead of giving them that space with everybody else, they stuck them all alone in another room. I’m not sure how I would’ve took that exactly.
@@nogames8982 Looking at the vendors map for this show on the NRBC site, they weren't isolated in a room by themselves. They were at the end (or front) of a long line of vendors that ran along the outer edge of the space. It just looked like they were alone because they weren't in the middle of other booths. This is pretty standard with vendors that rent the largest booths
I love how Ed used to be so hesitant to be in videos and now he's super jazzed to have his own meet-and-greet line. ❤
The Omnomlet "There's a Snake in my Boot" picture was incredible and actually got me all teary eyed. How beautiful.
The fact they put you in another room entirely to everyone else, but in the first room people come into, kinda says both how popular you are, and also how tired people gotta be of the shennanigans of the huge groups of people you bring to the place xD
It's actually the vendors themselves for the most part that determine their location in the event space as it's based on the size booth they rent. Most shows have the largest booths on the outer areas to keep foot traffic flowing
@@Cara-39 I can’t decide if I’m offended that they put them in a room completely by themselves or not. I understand the logistics of it but it’s also kind of rude.
@@nogames8982They weren't in a room by themselves, their booth was the first in a long line that ran alone the outer edge of the event space. We just couldn't see the others behind them and their booth was at towards the entrance, in a huge lobby area
That pistachio morph Hognose got an audible wow out of me! It's so beautiful!
Same. My initial thought was: "pistachio? What, is it green? Thats kinda boring" Two seconds later: "Holy crap what a cool shade of green, I love that!" ❤
Yeah! I’d never heard of them before. I’m surprised they didn’t get one of them to ship home too.
Hearing her say "That's our girl!" absolutely KILLED me. Omnomlette
i love when ed was talking about the cutting board and it was like half marble half wood and he said “het marble” it just cracked me up because y’all always say het- anything lol😂
🥺 The Omnomlette diamond painting made me cry. What an incredibly sweet gift and its so beautiful!!
I teared up a little bit too
wait omnomlette died?
Someone's cutting onions in here.
@@user-mx9lm9wc2y Yes, she passed last year after an unexpected double clutch :(
@@user-mx9lm9wc2ySadly yes, there is a video about it
This was my first NARBC and I came with my family from Arizona just to see you guys! We took home “bad boy” the king snake and he had been a wonderful ambassador animal! Not one bit finger so far 😁. Thank you for all you do!
I can't believe how well-behaved he was with you! He musked all over me when I was cleaning his showcase that morning 😆 He certainly chose you!
@@SnakeDiscovery Well it’s the wand that chooses the wizard.
We were behind you in line! Thank you for letting us hold him!! A great first experience with a king snake!. It was sooo cute the way he wrapped up behind your neck in your hair for warmth.
I think it is really awesome how kind you both are to the people who come to meet you. You take the time to ask questions and you seem so interested in what your fans have to say. As the mom of a seven year old Snake Discovery super fan - I truly appreciate how great you are with children. It would make my entire year to see my sons idols be so kind to him!
Phil is a great dad to help out with the craziness your booth must be. So many people love you guys.
I love how family friendly these shows are…passport stamps, sticker collection. I would have been all over collecting these as a kid.
A little, rather soppy message, but (in memory of my Dad Phil, who was there for us every step of our lives) I would like to send a big thank you hug to Emily's stepdad Phil, apparently the name just comes with a willingness to help everybody as much as they can. Bless you sir
As a person on the Autism Spectrum, I hugely appreciate the Autism Awareness business shoutout! That was so cool of you guys to give them your support and publicity!! 💛💛💛
It's wonderful to see so many children in that meet and greet line, you guys (and the parents, I'm sure) are inspiring the next generation of reptile lovers 🥰
I think the subscriber/viewer demographics lean on the younger side, as evidenced by the many comments and fan mail that mention school and parents.
They remembered the tripod go Emily and Ed! And thanks to the fan for giving them a spare!
My son's birthday wish was to meet Ed and Emily. We loved meeting you in Dallas. We adopted Mage the ball python and she's doing amazing! The sweetest girl ever. Thanks for making my son's year!
I got so emotional seeing the diamond painting of OmNom. What a special piece to have. And can I just say WOW when it comes to the depth of artistic talent amongst your fans. I also want to shout out all the folks who let their mom vibes show when they bring you coffee, sandwiches, coolers packed with snacks… you name it. I see it at every show and it really warms my heart to see folks wanting to take care of you guys… y’all really do so much for the community and clearly help a lot of young folks feel seen and accepted. I know little girls who no longer think they’re weird for wanting a reptile over a pet dog because Emily is cool and so they must be cool by association. Emily’s exuberant reaction with every egg hatching and showing off just how adorable snakes can be went such a long way to helping me move past a fear I didn’t want but didn’t know how to get past. Now I look forward to someday meeting a hog nose in person and getting to hold a ball python. I don’t think I’ll ever own reptiles (its the feeding bugs or mice that gets me) but I love that it’s an interest of many of my friends that I no longer have to feel squeamish about. So yeah. Big thanks to those who go out of their way to take care of Emily and Ed when they’re on the road and giving so much of themselves to the community that adores them.
Such a sweet comment!
The diamond artwork of Omnomlette is going to be such an incredible way to remember her
Hi Ed and Emily! Loved the Dallas show, it was amazing, thanks so much for letting us all experience it with you! My son (30) and I (52) watch you every Tuesday and Friday. Today, we decided that if we ever win a lottery or something, we are going to buy an RV or winnebago and follow Snake Discovery around to the whole circuit of NARBC shows. We're going to call ourselves Snakeheads. Lol. Just want to say, we love you guys. You brighten my week unbelievably. Please keep doing this , all of this, forever! You guys rock!
I adopted a crested gecko named meatloaf at this expo from you guys! He is doing great! HE is MASSIVE! I also left you a LEGO parrot and an original copy of Nintendo Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros with Ed, hopefully it didn't get lost!
Phil, the unsung hero of Snake Discovery❤
Also, the sheer Mum-energy of the lady who asked "Do you want me to open that Ed?", because she saw him struggling with holding the camera! Some Moms are just so awesome
NARBC trips are some of my favorite videos. Because you and Ed get so busy and miss out on some of the show, could you bring along a couple of employees to capture some B role footage and talk some of the vendors.
Excellent idea, I hope they take your advice!
Iunno, I like getting to see the vendors and breeders interact with Emily and Ed. They have questions I wouldn't know to ask, and it's cool to see the reptile world interact. But admittedly it's prob more that that would feel less... Idk organic? Ik SD have an editor and employees and a Phil to help out, but I do like that they try to keep involved and have that personal touch. That said, it would get prob a bigger view of the show and more vendors, plus give Em and Ed a look in case they missed anything lol. Logistically tho, idk how long the vid would be at that point
Hi guys, I'm one of your patreon backers over the pond in Wigan in the UK. I'm severely disabled and severely sight impaired but I love reptiles, I even owned a beautiful beatdie named Izzy. She used to settle on my head and watch the TV. I love you guys and have been a subscriber since I've early days. I'd love to visit your zoo but my illness prevents travel. A shout out would be nice if you read this xxx keep going guys xxx
i’m not far from wigan myself, i didn’t think there were many uk snake discovery fans !
Hi Sarah, I'm actually in Garswood and haven't missed a single episode of Snake Discovery since it began. Thanks for your reply xx
Heya im Uk too, if i actually ever got to the NARBC id come home with everything!!
@@metroholografix6050 I'd have to live in the US as I'd never get back in this country as I'd be caught smuggling all the reptiles xx
Texans coming out of the woodwork to show off their hospitality!! You just KNOW that the Texans had the best time putting together those gifts
I think my favourite thing about these conventions is the strong community around them. Even though everyone is there to sell their reptiles and products, there's an immense respect amongst everyone, they all support each other and I just think that's a wonderful thing. :D
I love seening the grownups with their kids. These parents are great supporters of their kids. These parents are awesome!!!!!!
I have said it before, and I will say it again: y'all are awesome. We know we don't *need* to get you things. We do it anyway because we want to. Because you are both awesome. *SO TAKE THE THINGS!*
Recommendation: make a position with Snake Discovery where paid travel is an advertised perk. During the off period, they can help at the store. During show season, they travel as well and help vend your booth and/or shop for the store while you are busy with fans.
Ed's haircut is looking all GQ!!! Love you guys!!! Best channel on KZhead!!! 💚 🖤 💚 🖤 💚
Agreed! I would love to do that, I just wish I lived closer to be able to work for them lol East Coast to Midwest would be quite the commute😂
I’m sure they already could if they wanted to, my opinion is that the obviously like it just the small family. But I think they are going to have to hire someone at some point for sure because they are spreading themselves very thin and we don’t want them to overwork themselves.😢
That is so awesome and thoughtful of the organisers to give you your own room. At first I thought it was serious overkill, but seeing the queue was insane! Makes life so much better for other vendors and for attendees in general. Hopefully future event organisers will take note for the benefit of everyone.
The Omnomlette portrait is stunning, what a beautiful piece of art! I am 100% going to go check out the soap business, loved the skull with snakes soap and the idea of hidden things in soap is awesome!
The picutre of Omnomlet made me tear up. Also, I love how Emily bends down to get on the kids level so she can talk directly to them. That is a classy lady right there. ❤
As a short person, I think I might be intimidated by nearly 6 ft tall Emily too lmao
The omnomlette picture was amazing it made me teary eyed seeing it. The pastachio hognose was stunning.
CONGRATULATIONS ON 3 MILLION! 🥳 I’m late but I’m just realizing lol.. Yall are awesome! & shout out to TEXAS! We do it BIG! 💪🏾🫶🏾🐍
My fellow Texans always make me proud! I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!

You know it’s a good day when snake discovery posts
Ed had his own meet and greet line that makes my heart so happy.
God that omnomelette piece was gorgeous, still hurts knowing shes gone, but her legavy will live, clearly as seen by that beautiful diamond piece! Also, I'm the one who drew that bucc ees bearded dragon piece! :D This was actually my first proper NARBC and it was amazing seeing your guys booth and just seeing all the reptiles. I had so much fun and felt so happy when you guys posted an image of it on twitter for me! (I gotta remember to take photos of my art before giving it lol) If you guys ever want more art I 100% will be drawing you guys more stuff! Those cresties are beautiful by the way, cant wait to see these new breeding projects with them!
Around 25:14? I was just gonna comment it looks like a children's book!
I’ve watched you for years and you seem so genuinely as nice now as you did when it was in your house. You are so supportive of your fans and it’s great to see.
I started crying as soon as you opened the diamond painting of omnomlet on the boot. 😭❤️
😂 "Renter's Insurance"...the creative names always make me giggle
Ed's haircut is looking all GQ!!! Love you guys!!! Best channel on KZhead!!! 💚 🖤 💚 🖤 💚
I started watching you 12 years ago when I was overseas. I am not a snake fan but I became respectful of them and became a crested gecko fan. I got my first two Crested geckos at the NARBC show in Tinley and even showed ED and thanked him. I thanked you at Schaumburg and talked to your stepdad and mom, St. Lewis, and Back two more times at Tinley. Now, a year and a half later, I have 45 crested geckos, 1 chewy, and two Leachies, 5 baby dalmatians, and 12 eggs in the cooker, with my first pair of stacked gene Axanthics to be hatched in July. It's like my reptile world has come full circle with your new crested geckos. I cannot thank you enough for the joy my new adventure in the reptile world has brought to my life. thank you. P.S. Don't breed the Lilly Whites together, only with another morph. Maybe I can thank you at the Flora and Fauna Conference :)
Yeah, Lilly White is a deadly incomplete dominant trait, isn't it? In heterozygous it's fine, but in homozygous it's deadly.
Awesome watch you guys were almost a year now I used to be scared of snakes now I want one so badly so you guys have been a big influence for me and I’m glad to see you guys keep going.
Ed and Emily, you give to us in so many ways, we just want to return the love.
You and Ed are just good people. Period. 😊
Those diamond paintings are fabulous
"A Cali king that likes to eat fingers." ...so a Cali king.
My not sure how I started watching your channel, but I enjoy how passionate you are about your snake. It’s so sweet to see the kids get so excited to see you Emily and Ed. Safe travels!
I like how the Dallas show give a huge space just for you knowing that if not your fans will be blocking everybody. Good thinking 👍
I'm so excited about the cresties! I have a juvenile male lavender cream with dalmation spots. I want to one day pair him with a red lilly white when he's old enough. Lavender is a line bred hypo trait and that pairing could potentially create pink hypos and pink lilly whites.
The art of Ed and Emily looks really great!
My mom - born and raised in Louisiana - used to read to us The Cajun Night Before Christmas growing up. She always did it with the thickest Cajun accent she could muster. Find someone with an authentic Cajun accent and listen to them read it. So funny!
You guys are so freaking cute 🥰 such a fun loving couple. ❤❤❤
Emily is the best role model for kids! Thank You Snake Discovery for ALL you do! Emily and Ed are the types of people who should REALLY be considered Celebrities.......not those fake, plastic people who get so much attention ....you know who I mean.
FINALLY! I've been waiting for weeks! And i just saw that they shouted out my sisters' business! Noice
Which ones is your sister's business?

Oh my gosh Munchie Monster Treats that's my husband and I :). We actually were not a vender at this show but we ill be hopefully next time around. Also those are our Java Manic Mondays aka Carmel Cold Brew M&M's ;). I picked those for Emily specifically cause of her love of chocolate and of coffee. Thank you guys so much for the shout out and I hope you enjoyed them.
They look delicious!
Yay Fridays and Tuesdays are my favorite
1:00 finally they’ve learned. Now the rest of the stalls won’t be swept away from snake discovery fans! 😂
Wow that Frappuccino gecko was so awesome looking
"Do you have the car keys?" "Sure, here they are" "Thanks, GOODBYE!!!"
Awesome video! Loved seeing how the show runs since it's so far from me. You guys have an endless onslaught of fans, and yet you still take so much time and energy to do genuine meet and greets - amazing. And bringing adoption animals actually takes away a spot from sales, so it means even more. Such deserved success!
Super cool way to start my day. Love you guys. Phil came to help again!❤😊🎉
I went to it and it was so nice to meet yall! It was such a huge show!
Honestly, I really want to see a Moonstone hognose on camera here. Its one of my favorite morphs and its just 10/10. I honestly wonder if SD would ever consider getting/making one??
Oh the cappuccino crested gecko was beautiful!
I cannot believe I missed this!!! We have wanted to meet yall for ever...
Emily and Ed, please know that without you guys, I would have never had such an amazing dream. I have always said I love snakes and that you guys were my favorite, but I had a dream and it was about being able to go to your zoo. It was probably the best dream I have ever had because I know it will be a while until I get the chance to meet you guys. Love you guys!!!! ❤❤❤❤
fellow crestie lover here! the ones you got are GORGEOUS. just a heads up, you may already know, but, their colors may change DRASTICALLY from when they hatch to when they grow older. we've hatched three, they all came out brown (white x brown gecko) but as they've aged some have gotten gorgeous contrast and light colors. my mom actually works for lllreptile, it was super cool to hear them getting a part in the passport challenge! keep up the great work
I also have Emily's Bucc-ee's pants. They are my favorite lounge pants now. Soooo comfy!
I'm just gonna thank you guys for introducing me to the world of reptiles in Thank you so much you guys the Best.
You guys... I got so emotional watching the video for no real reason, but you're so amazing! I've been watching you for years and years, and i truly love how you're always the exact same kind and marvellous people you were when i first discovered you! Unfortunately, since I live in Italy, I don't think I'll ever be able to come to meet you guys in person that easily, but I still hope for it to happen someday and at least I can watch your channel and the amazing content you share! Hope you get a fun trip and that Ed doesn't tire up too much driving all over the country, Emily keep him good company. 😂
You’re the best!❤
I have a huge soft spot for cresties, so i am super excited you guys have taken on a new breeding project with them!
I’m digging Ed’s new hair cut😊
It's so wholesome seeing just how much time Ed & Emily spend chatting with people at the meet & greet.
I just love ❤️♥️💜❤️♥️💜❤️♥️💜 you guys. You guys always bring a smile to my face.
I'm so excited to see what baby crested gecko you get. I love crested geckos and hope to have one one day
Rip omnomlette you melted our hearts even though you ate your children, you were the best and funniest hognose snake,it was so fun watching you and your children (before you ate them) it was so fun telling you not to eat your children and now we have no one to tell that they can’t eat their children, we will deeply miss you in our hearts and we send prayers to you, now nothing will ever be the same again without you, just know you will never be forgotten, it is so hard without you.❤💔❤️🩹☹️😔😥😭😞😕🙁😣😩😫
👀WOW!!!!! Ed looks so great!!!! It's weird how a haircut can make such a huge difference!
OK they are learning. Emily and Ed's meet and greets are so popular to avoid congestion they get their own room. Huge room because you're so loved by so many. Everyone wants to meet you both. A room is better than clogging up the vendor floor. I love that and find it funny in equal measures.
I saw someone else comment that they might take that in a negative way. I can’t see anything negative about it. If anything it’s just plain logical.
My son got a Lego Creator set of a blue and gold macaw, and he named it Cheyenne after he finished building it. We're big fans of the channel!
When someone gets a tattoo based on you that means you are a big-time celebrity now
It was so hard to walk away without one of your blue beauties🥰 can't wait to see you again!
Under an hour crew!!! Also emily and ed I will have another diamond dotz art piece ready for u in September!
I remember watching you a lot when i was younger and was into reptiles and such I always come back sometimes Just to see how things are going I'm glad you're still posing videos!
Wow! bow down to the free hand diamond painting! That was so beautiful and amazing
I have wanted you guys to interview the event organizers since you started doing these vlogs and im so excited that you finally did.
Yes! Im so excited about the Cresties!! They looked so awesome and im so glad youve got some of your own for a breeding project! ❤ Perfect choice Ed! 😊
The artwork you received of amnom is gorgeous. I cant wait for the new project!
I love you guys and your interaction with your fans. I can imagine it gets tiring but you both never complain and even delay going to get lunch quite often. If I lived in the US I would definitely make the trip to me you guys ❤
ahaha this show was PREPARED for you from the beginning xD
I saw a fantastic drawing or painting of Emily and Ed, holding reptiles. You have some very talented fans!🐍
Ah, the Omnomlette diamond painting was so sweet, I miss that little pain in the tail 🥲 It was so cool to see the shot of the Axolotls! I wish you guys would have covered them, but I know y'all have a very busy time at the shows haha. Have you ever thought about getting into working with Axolotls? They are a beautiful and fascinating species, and the research done on them does a lot of good in the biomedical fields, plus they're great pets that I'm sure a lot of your audience would have an interest in. If your able to do so now that you have a curator, I would highly recommend it!
You got a WHOLE ROOM for a convention! That is amazing! You guys are doing great work!
the meet n greets are always so sweet. especially all the snacks people get for emily hahahh
It's my 27 birthday so a SD upload is a great gift to me. 😊
I love these videos so much! It’s so interesting seeing all the different animals and morphs… keep them coming!
Cajun night before Christmas is one of my favorite ❤
