Rybakina huge fanbase in heart attack mode
Same switched it off at 5-2 came back it was 5-5!!
😂😂😂😂indeed !
Lol... you are so right! I won't be able to sleep tonight - I need tranquilizers!
Need to learn to do self CPR
Cuando elena estaba 2-5 no mire el partido, cuando volvi a ver el partido 5-5 😆 que locura de elena, elena hace sufrir a sus fans...
I just dropped my jaw by seeing the score board when it was 5-2 with the match point. What a match. Best of luck in semis, Elena.
Same 😂
Fabulous Yulia! You made tennis exciting g otherwise your opponent makes me fall asleep!!
@@xyz86457 😁
@@lucypedzinski1403 Yes. Yulia had a great shots. she is fun and exciting to watch. Hope she could control and manage her anger.
Almost had a heart attack😭😂... Congratulations Queen Rybakina
Congratulations E1ena Queenakina.
That point at 5-2 down was CRAZYYYYYY! Happy for Elena!
Exactly I was like gosh she was almost out of the tournament and then I knew she would turn the match around now
Iga will beat Keys and Saba vs Rybakina fire and then the final again will be fire fire
Elena showed in this match the quality of a true champion. The ability to win when not playing at her best and against all odds.
Agree
I agree too.
Against all odds? LOOOL!! She is a top 10 ranked player going against a not ranked player who barely makes it to finals or even QF. Props to Yulia for almost winning.
True
@@Fuiape I was referring to the match situation where Elena was 2-5, 15-40 down in the third. Surely, the odds of her winning the match at that point was very low even her most diehard fans had already turned off the broadcast and had accepted that she had lost that match. It seems almost everyone believed that match was lost except for Elena who showed nerves of steel.
IceQueen Elena showed incredible resilience on a day where she wasn’t at her best but pulled through at the end. Happy but stressful for huge fans of hers.
@@gerardobaltodanoThat’s not a smart take. The object is to win the match. Nobody said she played a perfect game. Of course she made many unforced errors but why don’t you mention the amount of winners she made? Weren’t those entertaining? She did enough to win the match. Period
Rybakina is definitely my preferred player on the tour. She is so composed, beautiful, with a beautiful, powerful yet varied game. She has head to heads that can seem strange, like positive ones against Swiatek and negative ones against some lower ranked players, but she learns how to beat them all and gets better and better, developping a real fighting spirit that was not so obvious before. Great player! 😍
I'm not a fan, but everyone should respect how cool she is under pressure situations & when things are not going her way. Yulia, on the other hand, doesn't need much to start the racquet abuse...
"... yet varied game. " are you serious ? Rybakina is mainly about serve and power hitting, it was Putinceva who had more effective slices, dropshots. Rybakina has negative H2H (2:3) also to players from top 10 like Ons Jabeur, who game is about variety, tempo change so that she can beat Rybakina even on her favourite grass like it happened last year on Wimbledon. Rybakina has average movement and her game relies heavily on serve. Today she had 8 double faults and 6 aces so her serve wasn't advantage. Putinceva get so many easy points with dropshots as Rybakina is not quick and mobile enough.
@@piqo44 And yet she won this game, just like the won against Ons in the biggest final of their lives and just as she won so many times this year being the number 2 in the WTA race. So she must do a lot of things right. If Jabeur or Putintseva had the offensive weapons Rybakina have they also would play differently. And Rybakinas movement is above average considering her height. That and her wingspan/reach make her a pretty good defender. And unlike Aryna and Iga she really makes an effort to come to the net more often.
@@patrickrogersiegismund2785 I agree, but my point is still valid, that that she struggles against certain type of players that put more variety into their game Putintseva and Ons are just examples. I don't remember so many easy points won by dropshots against player from TOP 4. Dropshoots are effective but usually not efficient unless your oponent reacts too slowly and is not confident playing close to the net.
She is so composed, beautiful, with a beautiful, why the men dont get the same comments .....
That point at 5:2 40:0 was game changing. What a comeback!
These highlights from WTA always overlook the key moments of every match, like the comebacks and break-point conversions. Come on!
Skips from match point down all the way to match point up. What a joke!
Mandatory match for all my students to watch from now on. Never ever ever ever ever giveup
True!!!
Elena showing real resilience here to win this match after not being at her best. 👏🏻
I'm not a Putintseva fan, but I feel for her. That was a tough loss
All I can say is unbelievable cuz 5-2 went up to 5-7 it really amazing 🤩 congrats Elena ❤
5-2 and 40-15
They could have shown some points in between...
coming back from 5-2 match point down ! Nerves of steel, ice water in the veins, impressive!
Could not watch it after 5-2 third set, my heart was jumping out, but what a come back! Putintseva made a brilliant progress!!! and huge stress for Rybakina and her fans.
I really do not know how to place these words that has been growing inside of me, but of a truth, I hate seeing Rybakina lose because of the love I have for her.
Congrats, Elena! This comeback was absolutely amazing. Mentality of a great champion.
Well, mentality of a player w/ 8 titles and one major.
She will have more soon, asshole@@jefftravis3808
Yes, could have given up by some other players easily!
This game was Rybakina VS Inner Rybakina. Putinseva was just utilizing Rybakina error. Coach Vukov analysis is always on point about the game. Kudos to Rybakina , she hold her nerve 🥶. Congratulations Queen 👑
I don’t agree with you. Yulia is good at rallies, but it in this match she was even better! I was really surprised by her game… Anyway she is not mentally strong as my girl Elena. Glad that she won. But she needs to work hard with her unforced errors((
@@RealMan Yes, I agree.
I believe Yulia never will be same after this she may broken so much🥶
She broke her racket by smashing it after losing the last point from 2 match points up at 5-2. So yes, this may likely play on her mind for a long time.
Putintseva also knows Rybakina's game very well as well as her weaknesses. Remember they were teammates in Kazakhstan's team to the Billie Jean King Cup in 2023.
I've never been a fan of Yulia Putintseva, but you have to credit her fighting spirit. She's an unimpressive 1,63m in a modern tennis time of giant girls just fighting her way around... she's been really close to make it into semis.
And she has a cute face
Rybakina showing huge heart to go along with her huge game.
Well done Rybakina sure was so worried I love this girl. Her composure no jigger very well composed Not arrogant very humble.I love that
Wow! The heck! This was a dramatic and edge of your seat match. Not only did Rybakina get the second set, but to come back from 5-2 score and win in the last set; fantastic.
amazing comeback in the 3rd by Ryba 🤩
Crazy chaos really fun match :D 1. Rybakina smashing her racket - WTF 2. Putintseva publicly humiliating audience members & stopping play until they sit their confused asses down. 3. Putintseva smashing her racquet in her thigh so hard she left multiple marks 4. Insane twists and turns in the third 5. Putintseva going batshit crazy after match point
at what point Rybakina smashed her racket?
I wish could see all that! But its cut way too short
@@burton2r2 Don't remember exactly, it was the end of Set 2 or around the middle of Set 3 but she definitely struck the clay with it and went to change it.
En que momento elena Rompio su raqueta?????
That was the only second time i saw Elena throwing racket like that
The difference between the good and the great, right there...
What a fighter Elena Rybakina is. Wow. Just wow. Coming back from a set and 2:1 break down to win tiebreak in the second set, then coming back from 2:5 15:40 double match point down in the third set to win with the score of 4:6, 7:6(7:4) and 7:5 is simply fenomenal. Elena Rybakina displayed guts to fight back no matter what. She still found a way to win this match despite not playing her best tennis. What a resilience by Rybakina. Well done and congratulations to Rybakina on winning this match. Truly deserved win. I hope that she can win this tournament.
yes or even phenomenal

Nah Put just choked
ELENA the 'Fenom' !!
That was a great fight...Elena with nerves of steel as usual.
Clutch moment queen, I turned off the tv in anger at 2-5, 15-40 just to figure out 2 hours on twitter that Elena won 😅
As a fan of Rybakina, i too had a mini heartattack when i saw that 2-5, 15 - 40 score. Happy she managed to fight back
Unbelievable comeback in the 3rd set from 2-5 to 7-5! Putintseva has grown to be a real challenge to Rybakina, but Rybakina's faith in herself shows a worthy champion.
How in the world did she turn this match around from 5-2 in the third set 2 match points down? That's amazing
Rybakina is the queen of tennis with talent, determination, class and beauty.
Well done Elena. That was a close go.
Love to see Elena problem solve and dig deep so quickly. Even when she’s down, she’ll fight it out with poise.
Five - Two (40 -15) respectively and she came out win the set, what a champ!
These matches make a champion player, Rybakina being tested at such a young age is great for her. Hope she has a great year
What a great comeback from rybakina ❤🎉
Elena She Walks Out - Of A Burning Building When Everyone Runs.. 👏👍..
That was some comeback 😮
Excellent match between the two. The highlights don't really show the actual quality of it, there were a lot of very long exchanges, winners, dropshots, volleys, etc. Elena Rybakina is really one charismatic character among the trio leading the WTA! Congrats!
the highlights are terrible, wasting valuable time showing double fault at MP when it was not of consequence and totally missed the brilliant ones like the knifed BH volley from Elena at 5-5 in second set.
Leading 5-2 40-15 in 3rd set and losing the match. This is unseen.....
It is seen to many times in women's tennis :D
@@ohorok2 indeed. But still surprising

I could not watch Elena losing at 40:15 wen Yulia had match points, then i turned of TV, don't want to see her losing that match but suprisingly she came back from that and win today Congrats Elena
What a comeback!
The WTA Big 3 all in semifinal
Who let them down, was it Cuckoo Puff (as usual) ??
Phew! What a cliffhanger! Need some rest from the spike in heart rate I just experienced. All while Ice Queen keeps going in her Zen mode. Congrats Elena!
What's crazy about this match was that when Puntintseva played that drop shot during her match point, it seemed to me, when I watched it live, like Rybakina ran towards the ball at the net almost half-heartedly, like she had given up on herself but not really, but then she played the perfect cross-court winner herself, and it was all Rybakina from that point onwards. Just unbelievable ending to a match. I feel for my Putintseva, but you just know she was going to get double-bageled whenever Swiatek ran was going to run into her, and we want a formidable opponent for Iga, so that she does not think she rules the world because I truly believe Iga thinks that. 😂
yes, Iga is another name for Ego
Yes!!!! Let’s go Rybakina!!! What a save on match point down wow!!! 🤯
Being from Kazakhstan and Elena's fan it was interesting to watch, cause I would have been happy with any outcome, but DANG ELENA'S GOT SOME NERVES!!! She is such a champion
I can't believe she went from 2-5(match point) to win 7-5. That's what we call true champion 🏆
My queen. Love this woman's tennis❤
Rybakina idol. I also understand the feeling of her opponent, imagine 5-2 with match point, but still Rybakina managed to win the match... impressive.
I say it again, Rybakina is the most unpredictable player I have ever come across 😮
Rybakina.. what champions are made of.
Congratulations Elena. Great game and fighting❤
WTA can you pleaseeeee post more cohesive highlights 😭 it just makes no sense how we jumped from Putintseva’s match point to Rybakina’s 5 games later???
and just to show the double fault... Must be AI.
@@danielslawecki6911 I truly hope no human being is deciding that this makes sense
If there’s any acceptable time to break your racket, this is it 😂 I know that hurt but great match by both!
Poots having tantrum in the end was a fitting finish. 😅
i was waiting for the cold handshake and it did not disappoint
Rybakina huge fanbase heart today😅😅😅
Whuat? In English please…

Congrats to Elena! Amazing game. Elena could have pulled the match out of a very difficult situation for her and won today’s game. Well done! Keep it up!

Omg.. The match point saved when is got that dropshot😱😱
PUTINSTEVA has so much improvement on her game so far. Thats amazing.....
Whoa, a rollercoaster of a match!!!! Elena deserved the win completely having held her nerve match point down at 2-5 and then the recovery... goosebumps! Hope she gets the title!!! 🙂
Wow......is it magic???no it's real......the quiet queen Elena Rybakina...... but also respect to her country's mate Yulia Putintseva
Chiar nu greșesc spunând mereu ca Rybakina este cea mai iubita jucătoare. E adorabila prin simplitatea ei prin puterea de concentrare prin jocul ei prin tot ceea ce face. Bafta multa!
Great comeback!
Unloading on the racket , hugs to Yulia ...That racket deserved it !
You showed us NOTHING between 2-5 double MP down and 6-5 double MP up??? WTF WTA highlights dude?
OMG, what a comeback! Yesterday was Maddy and today is Elena! It is really hard for Putintseva not to have a mental meltdown 😂😂
She “melted” her racket by smashing it after losing match point.
This is the difference between good players and true champions. Davai Lena!!
I've never seen Rybakina so frustrated and showing so many emotions even throwing a racket. I love seeing her come to the net more, playing drop shots, adding to her game in general. She has great power but also good feel for the ball. Just imagine this game and form on grass again. And Putinseva-just imagine a match between her and Ostapenko. Two players with little class.
Wow, just wow. That's how a champion sets herself apart
her cool demeanour comes in useful when her victory is a heartbreak moment for her opponent.. PURE CLASS!!!
Rybakina in some zen state of mind.
Legends say the guy in stands going upstairs carrying hotdogs and sodas interrupting the match is still to arrive in his seat. You gotta find humour otherwise you find a heart failure watching Rybakina's matches, I don't have her mental not even nearly.
You’re so right.. I don’t mind my life getting cut short with the roller coaster her matches present. When she comes up with a miracle it’s worth it

Heart attack from Lena!! Metally strong in the battle!!! Thanks a lot, Yulia and Lena!!!
WOW..... WOW...... WOW..... Elena Rybakina..... Become Number 1 at this year if she taft like this...... 👍👍👍
😅😂🤣🤣😂
When Elena hit more double faults than aces, you know she had a tough day in the office. Lucky escape there. Had she missed that great drop shot from Yulia when 2 match points down, it would have been all over. But it was very clear that she had so much trouble dealing with Yulia's heavy top spins. I hope her coach can work on that part of her game. By the way, Yulia destroying her racket was very much expected, but it was hilarious to watch. She was even pissed at her underpant at the start of the match (or was it a bee that got in??), I would imagine a racket committed far worse sin against her today to utterly justify the annihilation.
I thought she lost it at 5-2 match point down…tat was an awesome comeback being at her best at crucial moments…well played Elena…great win👏👏👏
Typical Ryba. Can easily blow a top-5 player off the court, but creates almost insurmountable difficulties for herself with top-50 players.
She doesn't play well against Russians I think she has a soft spot for her Russian friends 😂

Jesus f*cking Christ!!! The stress Elena puts me through... Tough day at the office but i was very impressed with the way she just let her arm loose being 2-5 down and facing 2 match points. Not a step back, that's how a champ gets it done. 👏

The Ice lady do it again.....🥶
Вот это борьба я понимаю, Путинцева в Мадриде заиграла, как вытащила Елена 3 сет, счёт 5-2 15:40 отдавала свою подачу, просто браво, но и Юля большая молодец, надо так же играть в других турнирах
Hope this match sharpen her up for semis against Sabalenka whom she outplayed in Tasmania last January. This is a slower court and favours Sabalenka. Sabalenka’s big serve can break down. Rybakina’s big serve seems more dependable. Will be very tough match for both.
