    • @@leech7412 I thought bandaging was when a puzzle consistently has some pieces stuck together, like a modded 3x3. When a puzzle changes shape and pieces become temporarily bandaged due to the shapeshifting, that's jumbling right? I may be mistaken.

  • Absolutely agree with you there for 3bld and mbld. even though i know full 3style, know all of the techniques for romans rooms, know the parity methods specifically for mbld, doing 50+ cubes in an hour is just still absolutely insane and another level for me. it is indeed very much like a noncuber watching a cuber solve something basic like a 3x3

    • I feel like a regular skewb is too simple. A master skewb is much better, and should be the default. Skewb is to 2x2 as master skewb is to 3x3. Nobody's main event is 2x2, it's too quick, simple, luck based. Same with skewb. Master skewb should be the default skewb Also I wanna see Fisher cube tournaments. It's the oldest rubik's cube mod, it was made in the 80s. I guess they could argue that it's simply a 3x3 so there's already a 3x3 tournament and a Fisher cube would be a pointless addition. But it IS more complicated. You have to orient the centres for example. It's not just a 3x3, a lot more things can go wrong. You can get parity.

  • So for 6x6, BC I'm CN, I can only get 2 parities. What I do is solve the opposite crosses of the two colors of the edge that has the parity. Then I save the parity edge to find out if its inner or outer parity. It limits crosses to two, so its half as good as full CN (dual CN stats)but saves a parity, just in case you were interested.

So that means it can't be easier than pyraminx as it's essentially the same, while being more confusing to turn and look at. I'd say that makes it at least a little bit harder than pyraminx
