Camping on the boat - Solo, Remote - 120km Adventure

Camping on the boat (no land camping) - 4 days. Solar-powered for 60km of the 120km trip into the Australian Everglades. My first remote, no mobile coverage, solo trip. Sleeping on the boat. Bird watching, wildlife spotting and nature gazing. Lunar Eclipse closeups. Appreciating the silence of the mind, magnificent natural scenery, flora and fauna, with background music provided by the pure sounds of nature. This is my first attempt at an ASMR no talking / Unintentional ASMR.
NO TALKING: The power of being alone has a power and silence few can handle. I do this to regenerate from my busy work life. I rewatch my own videos to re-experience the solitude. I hope you enjoy the same.
Trialing OzTent Stretcher Tent (Waterproof hacked) vs Bow Tarp Tent.
DECKEE: I’ve used Deckee to plan my adventures, log and stay informed on the water for a while. I am a sponsored Ambassador. You can see the area this video is taken here: bit.ly/3mw9PG9

  • Excellent!! (For the US viewers, if it hasn't been covered, 120 km is about 75 Miles. 65 Nautical Miles, whatever they are. )🤔 😉❤

  • It is great to see someone doing what I have been dreaming of doing for a long time now. And thanks for not drowning out the sound of nature with some weird music. A comment here and there about the plants would be nice so we can learn about your corner of the woods. Good vid. Thank you.

    • Yep, for 60kms I had to learn to manage power properly. There was more cloud than forecast, trees and changing direction with the river constantly didn't help. Speed of the motor really helped too. I noticed not too much difference in boat speed from 8/10 to 5/10 speed setting but the slower had dramatically less draw on the battery (About 6 amps vs about 16 amps) Next time I might plan for more stationary solar charge time in the trip. Thanks.
