I ended up hitting the Tsessebe Bull Right behind the shoulder taking out 1 lung and going through dead center of his liver killing him very quickly. We wanted to give him time just incase, but he was dead not far from where we saw him last.

Bullshit we ordered one 2 weeks ago an go no tracking number. You guys claimed to be shipping a new one out but again would not give us a tracking number instead got a screenshot of estimate arrival.. an it still didnt get delivered. Horrible customer service dude.
Josh, would you recommend the Next Level Hunter bino harness? I am looking for a quicker harness because my full containment harness is too cumbersome in up-close encounters with white tails and I am tearing up my optics with no harness. Thanks
Great shot! You are more accurate at 100 yards than most hunters are at 40.
I'd love to know how many he doesn't hit perfect at stupid long distances that we all do not see on KZhead... and how many noobs see him take long shots and go out and try replicate it to hit a animal in the ass. Too much can happen from the release of the arrow to impact at that distance. Very unethical
@@wittyfpv ethical if you are skilled at what you do
@@colbyboehm7979 skilled at seeing into the future and knowing if a animal is going to take a step or 3 once arrow is released at that distance? You can be the best archer in the world and still gut shoot a animal at that distance... and then the inexperienced hunter who lives on KZhead thinking this is achievable in real world scenarios has a crack at a long range "ethical?" Shot wounding a animal and never finding it... Don't get me wrong I'm not anti hunting just anti stupidity
Great that you recovered it!! And even more blessed it ducked perfectly into your arrow!!
Watch it again the bull never moved till impact of the arrow
my thoughts exactly
what broadhead do you use for your long shots ? Super impressive
That’s hard work paid off right there! Great hunt Josh!
Nice shot, quite a distance! What sight are you using on that RX-3 setup?
What sight are you using? Sur lok? Where did you get the number graphics on the side?
So what type of broadhead do you use? Serv for everything besides bigger game?
Words can’t describe how incredible that shot was! Great job Josh
Thank you so much!!
You’re welcome man love watching y’all!
WOW! Congrats on a great animal. What an amazing shot. I’m going to range 128 yards and be more in awe!
Thank you so much!!!
What type of sight are you using?
your long range stuff is amazing you’re a pro so might as well take advantage of that accuracy and it pushes me to get out and shoot more than ever thanks for the inspiration with your videos keep em comin !!!
Wow thank you!
inspires me too
@@leelathrop9539 how many Tesessebe bucks have you killed?
Unreal! Great shot Josh!
What stabilizer is that? Quattro?
Incredible shot Josh! Hard work on the practice range pays off
Thank you!! Really appreciate the love
Unbelievable the shot you put on that bull. Just an amazing shot! Congratulations Josh!
Thank you so much!!
Keep up the great work man I love your vid‘s
Mad, mad respect and Props Josh Bowmar. What a shot man! Definitely can say I have personally improved my confidence and ability with my bow because of a lot of your videos. I would never tried to plan an African hunt if it wasn’t for your videos either. Anyone who can relate to this like I can definitely appreciate everything you put out information and videos keep it coming bro
Wow this was awesome to read!! Thank you so much!
Would love to see you and Tim wells do a target shoot. Awesome video
If you noticed the animal moves slightly forward from the time of the shot to the arrow getting there. MY opinion is videos/shots like this give bowhunting a bad name. Way, WAYYYY too many bad things can happen from time of release to arrow getting to animal.
PRIMAL ADVENTURE'S Michael Jordan took that game winning shot when he had the flu.... Butler from the Patriots jumped that route and picked off Wilson to go ahead and win the super bowl.... Rickey Henderson les the American League 12 times in stolen bases. What gives bow hunting a bad name is people who don’t know their ability or those who take shots they haven’t practiced or aren’t ready for and shouldn’t take. This man had the confidence to take that shot and now will not have any regrets ever. They all knew/know their abilities. Yea a lot can go wrong. A lot can go wrong at 60 or 40 yards. A lot could have went wrong in any of those scenarios. Moral of the story he has a new mount for the wall because he believed.
Andrew McClintock well said.
Dave Howes no feelings hurt here. And you missed my ENTIRE point. I never said Bowhunting was the equivalent to throwing a ball???? If you didn’t catch or understand the reference which you clearly didn’t oh well. I don’t believe i said he was a great bow hunter either. In my book the “believe & the know” are kinda the same. Not my thing to cast pearls before swine.... there’s another for you to chew on.
@@bossdawg165 that's obviously your opinion, but that in no way means it's an ethical shot...hunt on bud
@Dave Howesyou took the words out of my mouth. Well said. You sound like an experienced hunter.
Amazing skills to be able to get that close and yet take a shot that far! You mentioned you shoot mulies. That right there tells a story. I wonder,, you said it was "cold" at 25° is that Celsius or Fahrenheit? Was the meat salvageable?
That is the longest shot I have ever seen on an animal! Great shot!
Thank you
@Kabob Brewster I disagree. Josh said he feels comfortable enough with his equipment. For the distance the bull was at, they couldn’t get any closer and he made a perfect ethical shot. That’s not reckless.
i’ve never clicked on a video so fast
What bow site do u use. And gorgeous shot.
Bowmar Bowhunting or Josh could you fill us in on your sight model and sight setup on your bow? Awesome shot man!
What an amazing shot Josh!
Great shot Josh! Unbelievable
Congrats mate, is it a Landslulyde AV 41 sight or a Spot Hog Eddy? 🎉 Congratulations 🎊
what sight do you use
what is that rangefinder pouch? that's looks awesome
Awesome shot man. Love watching you guys hunt no matter what it is. 🏹🏹🏹
We appreciate ator the support!
What an awesome shot! No hate from me, the conditions were right for a shot like that. Really enjoy all of your videos and will be using you for inspiration to get back in good shape.
Thank you man!! Really appreciate the love
I love that you make those long range shots. That is a true patronage to skill especially because you are using a compound. I people give me crap becuase even here in virginia where we have alot of forest, I want to sight my bow in for 60 and 70 yds. Sets you apart from all the rest of the bow hunters here on youtube.good job man!!
Thanks dude! I really appreciate the recognition to how much practice goes into making a shot like this.
What kind of Hoyt do you shot
Nice shooting brother! What the foc and total grains on that arrow ?amazing!, some day I hope to be this accurate at that yardage, keep u the hard work 💪
One heck of a shot. 128 is Crazy. How much if any crosswind where you dealing with and how did you set your pin to adjust?
I mean it looks pretty dead wind wise just wondering is all.
What a shot made the right call on that shot all the work you put in to that hunt ... If your confident and know you can hit from farther you take the shot when presented... Good call heck of a shot ..... That must of been a rush i beat your heart was thumping congrats man
Awesome!!!! Man you are one heck of a shot!! I love it!! Good work brother
Thank you!!
I had to watch this when I saw the title. That was one heck of a shot CONGRATS!!!
Thank you!!
8:48 Which one did you hit, Josh? I can't tell from the footage.
Dude you are the man, Straight up arrow sling in Son of a gun!! What another awesome video congratulations man. Great shot, dude You are so proficient with you set up and you know your equipment what a great shot.
Thank you so much! This really means a lot to me
That was an Amazing shot! Impressive! Nice video
Thank you!!
Good shot man👍🏽 what sight you using for that range?
Garmin xero
Accutouch carbon pro
130 yrds ,jeez man , I couldn't even be able to see the Target to keep my pin on him awesomeness 😉
Awesome shot ! Congrats, thanks for the footage.
Thank you!!
Hard to believe the carcass wasn’t bones by the next morning... I live in Texas and if you left an animal overnight in the brush it would be clean bones. Good shot, liked the video! ✌️
Impressive shot! How often do you wound or totally miss at long distance? Many hunters struggle to recover animals shot at 15-20 yds despite practicing often. A testament to how much you practice I suppose
Or extremely luck lol
What pin does he use
Hey love your videos I’m looking into getting into bow hunting
Was that a pass threw I seen?
Dude I have seen this multiple times and every time I’m in awe man, wow incredible shot bro. 64 yards my longest and your over here smoking them at 128! Lol 👏🏻🙏🏻
Haha thank you man!!
Nice shot dude! That's great! I hope I get an opportunity like that some day! This is going to be my first year of archery hunting!
Good luck to you man!
You're a boss Josh!
Congrats! Awesome hunt! Well done!
Thank you!!
That was a excellent shot.
This kind of proves my theory that animals hear the arrow and its not the bow that makes them "jump the string".. these animals had already noticed Josh and the Guide obviously and were aware he was there, but hadn't ran off because of the distance he was away from them. So I highly doubt from 128 yards those animals heard the bow go off, but they still jumped that string, and that's because you can hear the arrow whistling towards you. (and I'm not referring to 20 yard shots from a tree stand, yes i know an animal can hear the bow from 20 yards. this is referring to those long shots) Great Shot!
This is the hunt that inspired me and introduced me to sevr broadheads and I love them
Awesome man! Happy to hear!
What kind of release ya using there?
its. sweet spot pro back tension
You are a really really good shot and I never seen somebody shoot that far . Good job to
Congrats Bowmar. You gotta know your capabilities when it comes to distance and you've been fairly successful seeing some of your videos. I have no problem with distance if you know your capabilities. But I will say that was a lower percentage shot due to that angle. I wish you the best and hope your future hunts show broadside and quartering away shots a little more often!
Wow man thank you so much! I really appreciate the love!
Unbelievable shot man! Congratulations!
Thank you!!
What a shot!! Was that with the sevr 2.1 or the 1.5?
thank you! it was 2.1
God damn man speechless unreal shot Josh what’s next 150 yards man oh man awesome stuff
Thank you so much!!
What bow sight are you using?
Accutouch carbon pro
Practice like you hunt as always pays off. Congrats
it sure does! thank you!
@@BowmarBowhunting did a review on your nose button on my KZhead channel bulletsandbroadheads. Great product

Awesome!! Nice Great Shot !! Your Always The Best !! Remarkably a Long Successful Awesome SHOT !!!!! 👊
thank you!
What kind of scope
Josh do y’all hunt for a living?
Unreal shot. Congrats.
Do yall get to keep the heads of the animals that yall harvested
Hell of a shot.. grew up in Zimbabwe and did all my hunting and falconry there.. funny listening to you trying to say tsessebe..! 🤣
Douglas Greaves when did you leave. Before they stared killing all the white farmers I’d assume right?
Heath Ramsey they took our dairy farm by force.. not a pretty day..! 2001..!
The guide is wore out...so he's like- "Yeah, take that shot". 128 yards! crazy! EXCEPT- Josh Friggin Bowmar. I would NEVER take that shot. But Josh Bowmar is a world class archer. Straight up. Great shot! Awesome animal.
Wow thank you so much!!
1st and awesome kill
Awesome shot!!!
Great video Josh that was an amazing hunt and the shot at the end was incredible! Thank you for all the great content, my daughter is 6 and getting into archery she loves watching your instructional videos and then going out and practicing and says she can’t wait to go on a real hunt with her bow.
Wow thank you so much man! That's so awesome about your daughter. Good luck to her!
Great vids just subscribed
WoW 😳 128yard you did 👍🏻, nice shot, from zakk fishing
thanks dude!
I’ll take that shot All Day Long! Love it and Congrats on your Farthest Bow Shot ever! 🏹👌🏻
Thank you so much!!
Bowmar Bowhunting Of course! You’re videos are always awesome and you’re right that was skill. 🦌🐃🏹🎯
Absolutely dropping 💣💣💣💣
What kind of sight is that? Clarifyer?
no clarifier, it was a accutouch carbon pro, but it broke on me on the next trip, so I switched back to spot hogg
Crazy shootin 🏹🏹🏹💪🏼👌🔥
very nice shot!!
I love your videos and I was the first comment I wanna have a bow for Christmas
What is the bow sight
Awesome shot mate.
thank you!
Wow amazing shot!
Thank you!
I will say time and time again. Josh is one of the greatest shooters with a bow. Hands down.
Wow thank you so much!!
That is the longest shot I’ve ever seen with a bow congrats
Dang what a shot
thank you!
What a shot. I'm just surprised that you use a sight like a garmin xero instead of always ranging and moving your site around
82lbs at 128 yard kill, so a 40lbs should also kill at 60 yards, but i would only do it at 20-25 at most. Thanks for the reference. Looks like 40lbs compound bow is plenty for hunting as well.
What sight is that?? And what broadheads??
Rowdy 10 I’m not sure if they still are but they did shoot Sevr expandables
It's a sevr, either 1.5 or 2.1. Couldn't tell but they are great. Fly super well. Love mine
Absolutely badass. I'd never take that shot myself but you're the man to do it.
Wow! Nice shot
That's awesome congrats
thank you!
What bow site do you use
I was using accutouch carbon pro. but now shoot a spot Hogg
No way you purposely held 7 " low at 128 yards on a quartering to animal. I honestly think it was a crappy shot that turned out good. I guess when you have been in the bush for days and keep getting busted at 300 yards that shot is just what it is a wish and a prayer. How would have your low hold worked out if the animal didn't turn.
Hunter1s1k Don‘t think so
100% unethical shot. He can claim he practices for these shots and has been bow hunting for decades to make this shot, but it does not make it right to take a shot like this. Just by posting this video it will convince other bow hunters that shots like this are possible, and convince them to take shots much further than what is ethical. This is an example of a man looking for praise, who is going to cause more harm than good. I would like to see how many animals he has shot at over 80 yards that were wounded and suffered. I would bet his misses at 80 plus yards far outweigh his kills at that distance.
Look at how bloated the animal is. No way that is just one night old if it was 20 something degrees out.
@@olympusborn have you ever hunted in south africa? i shot a impala and about an hour later his stomach was super bloated and i couldnt even dent it.
@@edmondsolomon1633 no that’s on the hunter. Whoever the person is needs to decide what their range is.
Sweeeet shot!!!!!! The smile says it all 😎🏹
Thanks bro!!
