    • @@toja123 I could see her pattern. She empties her pockets in the 1st & 2nd sets & takes risks to steer the ball to the corners or sidelines. If she made it, she finished her opponents in 2 sets like she did. If not, she ran out of steam to accept the defeats or excuses. If Noskova won the 2nd set, then Emma’s chance to win the match is slim. Casual observers think that she doesn’t have enough fitness, but not so many would last if he or she plays that style.

    • She’s getting better at anticipating approach shots, Emma needs work on her own approach shots cause she can be so annoying with them, she tries to wrong foot the player too many times and loses points where the court was wide open, she needs to sort that out and mix it up there.

  • Emma gave Iga really a hard time on the court today. In each of her last five matches, she played better and better, and today there was no difference in the level of play of both players... And most importantly, Emma withstood the match well in terms of fitness. After losing the tiebreak, everyone probably thought that Emma was about to give up. And she fought until the very end... If only her health allows, she will be on a winning path this year...
